Abstract

Many countries' economies collapsed in early 2020 due to the worldwide financial crisis and the Covid 19 pandemic. The economic stability of several nations has been disrupted by the outbreak. In this article, we will examine the many ways in which human capital contributes to a company's success. The administration is making significant efforts to boost economic growth in a more positive direction. The Human Development Index in Indonesia appears to have increased by 3.3% between 2015 and 2019, according to data from UNDP 2020. According to the Human Development Index (HDI), Indonesia would be ranked 107 out of 189 countries in 2020. The Indonesian government has taken many different ways and made many different kinds of attempts to help its people grow and develop their skills so that they can keep competing with other nations. The companies discussed here also played a role in spurring this expansion. Organizations in the business world also want to survive, thrive, and remain competitive on a global scale. Businesses have a responsibility and a potential remedy to their lack of global competitiveness: they can stimulate the growth of their resources. The best way for businesses to improve their performance is to invest wisely and train their employees further. The success of businesses can be directly attributed to their investment in human capital. Human capital models that explain why it matters for businesses to invest in their people have been backed up by this research. Keywords: Human Development Index, A Sustainable and Globally Competitive Economy

Abstract

The limitations of in-situ observations of the upper air are one of the obstacles in analyzing the weather. The use of data models can be one solution. The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of the data model in providing upper air information using RAOB as a visualization tool for aerological diagrams and sounding information analyzers. The data used are radiosonde observation data from the Cengkareng meteorological station and 1000 – 100 mb ECMWF pressure level models at the same location as the in-situ observations. The time chosen is when the haze and mist occur at the observation time 00 UTC for 5 events each. The method used is pearson correlation and simple visual verification. The results obtained that the correlation of the significant point plot data diagram when the mist occurs is 0.76 and when the haze occurs is 0.67 and visually as a whole show that the model data is quite close to the observation data. Correlation of 59 sounding information as a whole produces a value of 0.85 – 0.99 when the Mist occurs and a value of 0.89 – 0.99 when the Haze occurs. It is hoped that these results can be used as a consideration for the use of data models in filling in the gaps in radiosonde observation data. Keywords: Sounding Information, RAOB, Radiosonde, ECMWF Models

Abstract

Language is a basic tool of human communication, and listening is one of the four important language skills that allow a person to receive, comprehend, and react to a certain piece of information accordingly. Various multimedia applications have been created to improve students’ English listening skill, such as eBelajar Kota Banda Aceh. However, little is known about the perceptions of students regarding the effectiveness of eBelajar in improving students’ listening skill and the obstacle they face when using this application. Thus, this research attempted to investigate these issues. Seventy-six students were involved as research participants, consisting of 33 female students and 43 male students, selected through a random sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed that the students perceive eBelajar Kota Banda Aceh as an effective platform to learn English listening skill, but it occasionally presents a challenge for the students when using it, which is its high dependency on the internet connection and speed. Keywords: Ebelajar, Learning English, Listening Skill, Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract

The lactic acid buildup has long been suspected as a cause of muscle fatigue. Lactate is a waste of anaerobic metabolism; this process takes place in the absence of oxygen. Blood pressure, pulse, and respiration are vital signs to monitor adaptation to fatigue levels. This study aims to determine the effect of aerobic exercise on the level of fatigue and vital signs in athletes. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a non-random re-experimental design. Lactic acid levels and vital signs were assessed before and after the exercise program in 3 groups, namely the light-intensity exercise treatment group, the moderate-intensity exercise group, and the control group. The research site is at the Harapan Bangsa football stadium in Banda Aceh. The subject of PPLP Dispora Aceh athletes. The exercise was carried out for four weeks. The average lactic acid levels of the three groups showed differences. A significant decrease in lactic acid after the training test was seen in the group with OAIS (p = 0.04). Exercise with the right intensity, duration, and frequency can reduce lactic acid levels and vital signs. This study shows that moderate-intensity exercise can affect reducing lactic acid levels and vital signs so that it can slow down fatigue during exercise in Aceh football athletes.  Keywords: Light and Moderate Intensity Exercise, Lactic Acid, Vital Signs.

Abstract

The processing of mackerel tuna-based food products is still very limited, so efforts to diversify other mackerel tuna-based food products are needed. One of the products that can be made from fish meat is fishballs. Fishballs are a nutrient-rich product with a high-water content so that the product quickly became spoilage when stored at room temperatures. Liquid smoke is reported to have been used as a natural preservative. However, there are no reports regarding mackerel tuna fishballs that soaking in coconut shell liquid smoke could affect the consumer's preference on hendonic properties such as color, aroma, taste and texture. The product was analyzed using hedonic test is a test for color, aroma, taste, texture. The data was analyzed descriptively. The result shows that color preference of average 3.92 (likes), aroma preference of average 3.22 (likes), taste preference of average 3.81 (likes), and texture preference of average 3.26 (likes). Based on spoilage detection which shows spoilage characteristics such as off odor, off flavor, and acidity so that shelf life of mackerel tuna fishballs preserved with coconut shell liquid smoke predicted less than 5 days and more than three days at room temperatures. Keywords: Euthynnus Affinis, Organoleptic, Sensory-Based Detection, Food Diversification

Abstract

The character of an individual is formed since he was small due to genetic influences and the surrounding environment. The process of character formation, whether consciously or not, will influence the way the individual views himself and his environment and will be reflected in his daily behavior. Along with the times, accompanied by the development of information technology, it has resulted in a shift in values and a lot of deviant behavior that occurs in children, so that parents and educational institutions and the community need to pay serious attention to building children's character education. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach can be interpreted as an approach that produces data, writing, and observed behavior from people. It is found that Social care needs to be developed so that children do not have negative traits, such as arrogance, indifference, individualism, indifference to social problems, picky friends and the fading of the culture of mutual cooperation. Social care is an attitude and action that always wants to provide assistance to other people and communities in need.  Keywords: Social Interaction, Growing Social, Children.
