Abstract

Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) II yang dilaksanakan bagi mahasiswa semester VI (Enam) di Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika atau kampus Undikma telah mendefisiensi waktu belajar di dalam kelas untuk mata kuliah selain PLP yang diambil oleh mahasiswa semester VI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan besarnya kontribusi penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi menggunakan Zoom Meeting, Whatsapp Group, dan Google Meet secara parsial dan simultan terhadap respon positif belajar mahasiswa selama pelaksanaan kegiatan PLP II. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Karena penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, maka instrumen survei berupa angket untuk pengumpulan data yang sudah valid kemudian disimulasikan khusus kepada mahasiswa yang sudah menempuh PLP II pada semester VI di Prodi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi, FSTT, Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika. Pengaruh dan besarnya kontribusi penggunaan media secara parsial maupun simultan dianalisis menggunakan statistik inferensial dengan metode asosiatif regresi linier berganda. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi menggunakan Zoom Meeting, Whatsapp Group, dan Google Meet berpengaruh secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap respon positif belajar siswa dengan besar kontribusi secara simultan sebesar 24,8%, sementara secara parsial masing-masing faktor secara berurutan adalah 8,2%, 9,7% dan 6,9%.

Abstract

A quality education is so far becoming a main target and objective in every educational practice.  It has very close correlation with principals policies in carrying out an institutional management. This research tries to analyse and explain some strategic efforts of the principal of Al-Ishlah Islamic Senior high school (MA) Bilapora Ganding Sumenep in realizing an ideal education and identify also the hinderances in implementing it. This is a field research using a qualitative approach. There are three informen in this research i.e. the principal of MA Al-Ishlah as the main informan and two additional ones namely a vice principal and a teacher by using purposive method. The research is accomplished through several procedures i.e. collecting data by interview technique, analyzing data, validating data and taking conclusion. Then, Every data collected is analysed by using analytical-descriptive method. Based on the result of study or research, we know that there are some strategic principals efforts in realizing an ideal education through several ways, namely: developing relevant curriculums, preparing professional teachers, realizing a professional service standard for students, building an intensive relation with surrounding community, and creating a representative, enjoyable, and character school environment. In implementing those all, the principal faces several kinds of obstacle factors, including: limited land extent for broadening classroom, amount of nonlinear teacher, limited availability of school facilities, and also limited and minimal funding resources. Those are the most urgent factors which need the alternative solutions soon. So that the principals efforts above can be achieved well.

Abstract

Performance really needs to be considered, where performance is used as an expression of a person's ability to carry out a job. Good performance can be seen from the directive leadership style. Where leadership style is the way a leader influences the behavior of subordinates, so they are willing to work together and want to work productively to achieve organizational goals. In addition to leadership style, motivation is also needed in improving performance. Then performance can also be influenced by the discipline of human resources in the environment. This research was conducted at Company 1 Battalion B Pioneer, where there are still obstacles in improving the performance of its personnel including those related to directive leadership, where there are still Company 1 Battalion B Pioneer personnel aged over 40 years and in rank (Nintara and Tamtama) as well. many senior personnel. So this study aims to analyze the influence of directive leadership style, motivation, and discipline on the performance of Company Personnel 1 Battalion B Pioneer – Brimob Sumbawa. This research is a quantitative research. The sampling technique used by the researcher is a saturated sample, that is, the entire population is used as a sample. Where the number of personnel of Company 1 Battalion B Pioneer – Brimob Sumbawa is 120 personnel. Data collection techniques carried out by researchers by distributing questionnaires. The data were analyzed using a statistical software (statistical software) in the form of a statistical package for social science (SPSS) application. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: 1) The directive leadership style has no effect on the performance of the personnel of Company 1 Battalion B Pioneers – Brimob Sumbawa; 2) Motivation affects the performance of Company 1 Battalion B Pioneer personnel – Brimob Sumbawa; 3) Discipline affects the performance of Company 1 Battalion B Pioneer personnel – Brimob Sumbawa

Abstract

The background of this research is related to the low performance of elementary school teachers in Cluster 2, Plampang District. The main problem is the ability of the principal's managerial skills in carrying out his functions.  The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the principal's managerial application on teacher performance. This research was conducted using a non-experimental quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were 62 people. The instrument used in this study was to use a closed questionnaire with answer choices on a likert scale of 4, which means that respondents can only choose one answer. The data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive analysis and simple regression analysis. The result showed: (1) the principal's managerial implementation process towards improving teacher’s performance has gone well, (2) there is a managerial correlation of the principal to teacher’s performance, as evidenced by the results of the counting test of 9,151 > ttabel 1.66. The correlation of the principal's managerial influence on teacher’s performance was 0.687 in the strong category. The magnitude of the effect of the principal's managerial effectiveness on teacher’s performance was 58.3%, (3) there is an influence of the principal's managerial effectiveness on teacher’s performance, as evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test showing that the significance amounts to 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a noticeable or significant difference between the principal's managerial influence on teacher performance. The research advice is for the headmaster to continuously improve his managerial skills, and for teachers it is advisable to always improve his performance.

Abstract

This study aims to develop creative research instruments for prospective chemistry teacher students in environmental chemistry courses. This instrument was developed using the 4D model, but was carried out until the expert validation test stage was carried out by 3 expert validators who were competent in the field. The results of the validation carried out by the three validators obtained an average score of 3.62 with very valid criteria. The instrument questions were made based on the TTCT-V (Torrance Test of Creative Thinking Verbal) on water pollution. Besides being able to see creative thinking abilities, this test can also show students' cognitive abilities and problem solving. However, it is necessary to carry out further research to see the practicality and effectiveness of the developed test instrument.

Abstract

Kesulitan tutor pada semua jenis pembelajaran (tatap muka dan online) adalah ketika mereka mengajarkan konsep abstrak pada perkuliahan fisika modern, terutama untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penalaran mahasiswa. Kami melihat peluang pada kemajuan teknologi digital dapat membantu mengatasi masalah ini. Studi saat ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja keterampilan penalaran mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fisika modern menggunakan simulasi virtual PhET yang terintegrasi di dalam platform LMS. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain ekperimen, dimana dua kelompok sampel disiapkan (kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol), dan diintervensi dengan dua proses belajar. Kelompok eksperimen dibelajarkan dengan simulasi virtual PhET yang terintegrasi di dalam platform LMS, sementara kelompok kontrol dengan pembelajaran tatap muka dengan metode ekspositori. Kedua kelompok sampel adalah mahasiswa yang menempuh matakuliah fisika modern di FKIP Universitas Mataram. Instrumen yang telah valid dipekerjakan untuk mengukur kinerja keterampilan penalaran mahasiswa sebagai pretest dan posttest. Hasil analisis pretest dan posttest menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keterampilan penalaran mahasiswa pada perkuliahan fisika modern meningkat dengan intervensi pembelajaran menggunakan simulasi virtual PhET terintegrasi dengan platform LMS. Hasil analisis statistik juga menunjukkan keunggulan intervensi pembelajaran menggunakan simulasi virtual PhET terintegrasi dengan platform LMS jika dibandingkan dengan metode ekpositori. The Experience of Teaching Modern Physics Using PhET Virtual Simulations: An Analysis of Student Reasoning Skill Performance Abstract The difficulty for tutors in all types of learning (face-to-face and online) is when they teach abstract concepts in modern physics courses, especially to improve students' reasoning skills. We see an opportunity in advances in digital technology that can help overcome this problem. The current study aims to analyze the performance of students' reasoning skills in modern physics courses using PhET virtual simulations that are integrated into the LMS platform. This study used an experimental design, in which two sample groups were prepared (experimental and control groups), and intervened with two learning processes. The experimental group was taught by PhET virtual simulation integrated into the LMS platform, while the control group was taught by face-to-face learning using the expository method. The two sample groups are students taking modern physics courses at FKIP, University of Mataram. Instruments that have been declared valid are employed to measure the performance of students' reasoning skills as a pretest and posttest. The results of the pretest and posttest analysis show that the performance of students' reasoning skills in modern physics courses increases with learning interventions using PhET virtual simulations integrated with the LMS platform. The results of the statistical analysis shows the advantages of learning interventions using PhET virtual simulations integrated with the LMS platform when compared to the expository method.

Abstract

The use of Technology-based learning is currently tended to massively used in a variety of activities in schools and universities. SRV is designed to become an effective English learning method that can promote the students learning performance. This research aims at assessing or investigating the effectiveness of using SRV (Self-Recording Videos) in the university students of the Engineerings department, at the university of Bumigora. It was carried out by a quantitative research method which is descriptively statistically analyzed along with a number of samples are 14 students. This research’s sampling technique was carried out through a simple random technique, then it was accounted the sample’s number by using Slovin’s technique. The instrument of data collection used is a questionnaire consisting of 9 items, then the reliability of the instrument was tested, in which the Cronbach alpha value (0.721 > 0.60), showing that the questionnaire is reliable. The quantitative data were descriptively analyzed by using a t-test. This study suggests that the use of Self-Recording Videos (SRV) affected students’ English learning performance by assessing the average score. It is obtained that the average score is 0.8476/84.76%. In conclusion, SRV is an effective English learning method for enhancing students’ English performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Employee Motivation on Organizational Performance at the Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda) of Banyuwangi and Jember Regencies. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. The population and sample amounted to 98 respondents consisting of all employees of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Banyuwangi Regency and Jember Regency.  The instrument and data analysis technique used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS). For data collection techniques using questions (questionnaires) or questionnaires distributed to all respondents.There are five indicators in the employee motivation variable used in this study, namely: 1) physical needs, 2) needs for security and safety, 3) social needs, 4) self-esteem needs, and 5) self-actualization. For organizational performance variables, there are six indicators used in research, namely 1) effectiveness, 2) efficiency, 3) quality, 4) productivity, 5) quality of work life, 6) learning and innovation. The results of this study indicate that employee motivation has a significant effect on organizational performance in the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Banyuwangi and Jember Regencies.

Abstract

Hutan memiliki potensi nilai ekonomi dan nilai produktifitas. Dalam prinsip pengelolaan tatakelola pemerintahan yang baru, setiap unit layanan yang memiliki potensi untuk dikelola dengan pendekatan bisnis. Melihat potensi dan peluang perkembangan bisnis di sektor kehutanan merupakan lahan investasi yang mempunyai prospek yang sangat baik dan potensial untuk dikembangkan. Kondisi tersebut, memberikan peluang bisnis kepada Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan Lindung (KPHL) Rinjani Barat mengembangkan investasi di wilayah kelolanya. Program strategi yang dilakukan KPHL Rinjani Barat akan sangat dipandang perlu dilakukan untuk percepatan implementasi rencana bisnis yang akan dikembangkan untuk kemandirian KPHL Rinjani Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian dokumen. Hasil analisis ditampilkan dalam bentuk uraian dan tabel. Hasil analisis berupa dokumen rencana strategi bisnis. Rencana strategi bisnis ini disusun  berdasarkan analisis kondisi internal maupun eksternal KPHL Rinjani Barat, serta mengacu pada visi dan misi organisasi. Langkah selanjutnya menyusun program dan kegiatan sebagai implementasi dari strategi bisnis. Pada akhirnya, dokumen rencana strategi bisnis beserta rincian program dan kegiatan dapat memberi arah terhadap pengelolaan hutan yang melibatkan semua pihak terkait dan terjalinnya kolaborasi dalam implementasi bisnis di KPHL Rinjani Barat. Study of Business Strategy in the West Rinjani Protected Forest Management Unit Abstract Forests have potential economic value and production value. In the new governance management principles, every service unit has the potential to be managed with a business approach. Seeing the potential and opportunity for business development in the forestry sector, it is an investment area with good prospects and potential to develop. This condition provides a business opportunity for the West Rinjani Protection Forest Management Unit (KPHL) to develop investment in its managed area. The strategic program carried out by the West Rinjani KPHL will be deemed necessary to accelerate the implementation of the business plan that will be developed for the independence of the West Rinjani KPHL. This study uses a documentation review. The results are displayed in the form of descriptions and tables. The result is in the form of a business strategy plan document. This business strategy plan is prepared based on an analysis of the internal and external conditions of the West Rinjani KPHL and refers to the organization's vision and mission. The next step is to develop programs and activities. In the end, the business strategy plan document with details of programs and activities can provide direction for forest management involving all relevant parties and collaboration in business implementation in the West Rinjani KPHL.

Abstract

Keberadaan teknologi yang modern tidak menutup kemungkinan mengalih pandangan anak-anak untuk beraktivitas dalam dunia internet. Kecanduan game online menimbulkan komunikasi tidak efektif sehingga mengganggu psikologi anak dan efektivitas komunikasi antar pribadi seorang anak kepada kedua orangtuanya. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Pengaruh Game Online “mobile legend” Pada Psikologi Anak Terhadap Efektivitas Komunikasi Antar Pribadi Dalam Keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Game Online “mobile legend” Pada Psikologi Anak Terhadap Efektivitas Komunikasi Antar Pribadi Dalam Keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei, yakni penelitian yang mangambil sample dari satu populasi dan menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat pengumpul data yang pokok. Pendekatan yang digunakan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif yaitu data penelitian berupa angka-angka dan analisis menggunakan statistik. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah Hasil uji t, dengan taraf signifikansi a = 0,05, semua nilai Sig dari koefisien regresi lebih besar dari 0,05, sehingga dapat menunjukkan pengujian yang terdiri dari game online dan psikologi anak secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas komunikasi antar pribadi anak remaja dalam keluarga di Perumahan Kuto Alam Kotabumi Selatan dengan demikian hipotesis pertama tidak terbukti. Lalu dapat dilihat dari hasil uji F diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,000. Dengan taraf signifikansi a = 0,05, ternyata nilai sig > 0,05, sehingga menunjukkan pengujian yang signifikan. Ini berarti variabel game online dan psikologi anak secara simultan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas komunikasi antar pribadi anak remaja dalam keluarga di Perumahan Kuto Alam Kotabumi Selatan dengan demikian hipotesis kedua yang diajukan tidak terbukti. Addiction to online games causes ineffective communication that interferes with child psychology and the effectiveness of a child's interpersonal communication with his parents. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of "mobile legend" online games on child psychology on the effectiveness of interpersonal communication in the family. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the "mobile legend" online game on child psychology on the effectiveness of interpersonal communication within the family. This study used a survey research method, namely research that took a sample from one population and used a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, namely research data in the form of numbers and analysis using statistics. The research results obtained are the results of the t test, with a significance level of a = 0.05, all Sig values of the regression coefficients are greater than 0.05, so that it can show that the test consisting of online games and child psychology partially has a negative and significant effect on the effectiveness of interpersonal communication among adolescents in families at Kuto Alam Kotabumi Selatan Housing, thus the first hypothesis is not proven. Then it can be seen from the results of the F test obtained a sig value of 0.000. With a significance level of a = 0.05, it turns out that the sig value is > 0.05, indicating a significant test. This means that online game variables and child psychology simultaneously have a negative and significant effect on the effectiveness of interpersonal communication among adolescent children in families at Kuto Alam Kotabumi Selatan Housing, thus the second hypothesis proposed is not proven.
