Abstract

This study aims to provide understanding and knowledge on the application of sanitary hygiene in work fields related to skin beauty, including caring for facial skin, the body, and SPA caring for hands, feet, and nails. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive method approach. Data obtained by observation methods to collect data on the results of observations and assessments during skin beauty practices. Visual analysis to collect data focuses on the sterilization of tools, customer maintenance actions, and treatment methods used. Instruments prepared to achieve occupational safety standards, health, and safety in implementing skin beauty practices in the AKS AKK cosmetology study program students. So that the realization of a conducive, effective, and responsible climate will be achieved according to the recommendations of work standards in the beauty field. Furthermore, businesses in the Beauty and SPA as users of AKS - AKK Cosmetology Study Program graduates are guided by the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI), which refers to knowledge, skills, and mindset attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship between student knowledge in the Family and Community Resource Management course to its implementation in student financial management. This research uses quantitative methods with survey techniques on respondents of AKS-AKK students who take the Family and Community Resource Management course. The purposive sampling method of 30 students. Data retrieval using questionnaires. The results of the study obtained that the implementation of the Family and Community Resource Management course in financial management, students showed that respondents had understood enough to make financial planning, implementation, and evaluation, especially personal finances

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the process of recycling brocade patchwork into unfinished manipulating fabric in party clothes and 3) Know respondents' opinions about recycling brocade patchwork into unfinished manipulating fabric in party clothing. The research method used is a valid quantitative experiment with a form of factorial design. The subjects of this study were 22 respondents. Data collection using Questionnaire, Observation, and Documentation methods. Data analysis using Statistical Descriptive data analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that from the aspect of beauty can be said to be beautiful (stunning (32% and beautiful (54%) because there are still shortcomings in terms of design principles of rhythm aspects where brocade accents on the bolero and the main dress are not in Harmony. In the aspect of colour harmony and Harmony of bolero materials, it can be said to be harmonious (very harmonious (36% and 50%). Ornamental Harmony can be said to be harmonious (very harmonious (41% and harmonious (41%). The ornaments used in this party outfit are harmonious regarding colour and material. The total look is said to be harmonious (very harmonious (41% and harmonious (41%). This is because the colour selection on the primary material of the bolero is not appropriate

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze the application and feasibility of personal demonstration learning methods in fostering entrepreneurial interest for Cosmetology students. This research is a research and development R&D using ADDIE design (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subject of this study is a student of AKS-AKK Yogyakarta Cosmetology study program. Data collection using questionnaires, observations, interviews and document studies. Analysis of research data using questionnaire validity and t-test. The results showed that: (1) The development of personal demonstration learning methods was carried out with development steps including; activities to create, modify teaching materials, and personal demonstration learning strategies; (2) The application of the personal demonstration method carried out in the bridal makeup practice course is very suitable because students can receive clear explanations of the material and follow every step of the demonstration easily; and (3) The feasibility of personal demonstration learning methods in fostering student entrepreneurial interest is declared feasible because of the results of different tests that show differences in student interest that has been given treatment

Abstract

This study aims to determine service strategies, roles and functions in increasing consumer interest in Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa Yogyakarta. Type of descriptive qualitative research, data collection using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The subject in this study is the Operations Manager. At the same time, the object is the service strategy at Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa Yogyakarta to increase consumer interest. The results showed that Service strategies used at Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa in increasing consumers include proof of physical and non-physical services, employee reliability in serving consumers, service guarantees, employee empathy, responsiveness, and prioritizing customer satisfaction. The role and function of service in increasing consumer interest are the function of service, function of communication, function of judgment, function of economics, and as function of competition. The role of service can attract consumers and increase market share, thereby establishing a good relationship between the company and consumers

Abstract

Consumers have high expectations for quality salon services because beautifying themselves and doing treatments at the salon has become a lifestyle for women. Therefore, this study aims to analyze consumer perceptions of the quality of student salon services in the practice of salon business management courses. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with primary and secondary data types. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and interviews, which are then analyzed descriptively by percentage and qualitative analysis with interactive models. The result of the study is the perception of the quality of student salon services in the curriculum management practice course is included in the category of quite good. Service quality is considered the best in reliability, with a percentage of 67.9% in the suitable criteria. In comparison, the lowest percentage is the aspect of responsiveness (responsiveness), with a percentage of 64.3% in the criteria of good enough.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how vital student creativity is in three-dimensional nail art learning and its influence on their learning outcomes. The method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The population used in this study is students of the cosmetology study program class 2022 who are taking courses or learning three-dimensional nail art. The number of samples taken was 25 students. The results of three-dimensional nail art learning in this study are the total scores obtained by students in learning three-dimensional nail art practice and theory and filling out questionnaires. The relationship between creativity (X) and three-dimensional nail art learning outcomes (Y) is linear. Thus this regression equation model can be used to predict. The study results stated that creativity in three-dimensional nail art learning has a role in improving student learning outcomes. Therefore, learning outcomes will also increase to 84%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning activity and student learning outcomes. The method used is class action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles containing aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. The instruments used are observation sheets of student learning activities and test sheets of learning outcomes. The subjects of this study are 52 students of the Culinary Arts Study Program for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. The results showed an increase in learning activity and student learning outcomes. The study's results found that applying the team's games tournaments (TGT) model can increase student activeness and learning outcomes, especially in theoretical courses. Sanitation hygiene learning using the quiz-assisted TGT learning model has carried out for two cycles in the first cycle; most respondents in the first cycle were still less active in education, as much as 27 (51.9%). While in cycle II, it was found that most of the learning activity in most categories was quite active, as much as 29 (55.8%). The learning outcomes of students can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes in cycle I, most of which have learning outcomes above KKM as much as 34 (65.4%), while cycle II mostly has learning outcomes above KKM as much as 47 (90.4%).

Abstract

Digitalization in the Industrial 4.0 era has changed the order and process of education, one of which is the presence of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). This article reviews the challenges of implementing MOOCs in Vocational Education (PV). Several literature sources, including books and journals, were compiled and engaged in literary analysis in this writing. The analysis results identified five significant challenges that arise during the implementation of MOOCs in PV. These challenges include student competency achievements, infrastructure adequacy, psychological condition, engagement, and evaluation and assessment. In the case of Indonesia itself, the MOOC challenge has not been followed up properly, so the impact related to the outcome still cannot be increased. The results in this paper give an important signal, especially for PV organizers, to play an essential role in responding to these challenges. The primary keys are to develop teacher competencies and prepare the excellent vocational infrastructure for implementing MOOCs in PV. In addition, curriculum improvements to boost achievements in MOOCs are also the main foundation that must be strengthened. Further research is also expected to play an essential role in developing the critical sectors involved in the success of MOOCs in PV

Abstract

Tujuan penelian ini adalah: (1) Menemukan resep produk Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava, (2) Mengetahui tingkat penerimaan masyarakat terhadap Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian R&D model 4D (define, design, develop, and dissemination). Dengan tahapan-tahapan (1) Define adalah tahap menetapkan dan mendefinisikan syarat-syarat pengembangan, yaitu mencari 3 resep acuan dari produk Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava.dari 3 sumber yang berbeda, (2) Design adalah tahap merancang resep pengembangan, yaitu merancang resep pengembangan produk yang akan disubstitusi dengan tepung mocaf sesuai dengan kriteria masing-masing, produk yang dikembangkan yaitu Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava. (3) Develop adalah tahap melakukan pengembangan produk dan melakukan kelayakan rancangan produk untuk mengetahui daya terima konsumen terhadap produk yang dikembangkan, yaitu mendapatkan resep yang tepat dari produk Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava. (4) Disseminate adalah tahap mengimplementasikan produk yang sudah direvisi pada tahap pengembangan pada sasaran yang sesungguhnya, yaitu tahapan produk yang sudah diuji coba melalui validasi I, dan validasi II, dan uji panelis 30 panelis lalu dipamerkan dan di uji cobakan melalui 50 panelis. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Resep yang tepat dalam pembuatan Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava.dengan menggunakan bahan utama tepung 80% cassava (2) Resep yang tepat dalam pembuatan Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava dengan bahan utama tepung cassava yang dikemas dengan menarik dan dihias dengan menarik pula. (3) Teknik analisis data dengan uji penerimaan produk menunjukan hasil penerimaan masyarakat terhadap produk Kue Sengkulun Pelangi Cassava.dengan rata-rata dari segi warna 3,40; aroma 3,44; tekstur 3,22; rasa 3,46 disukai oleh masyarakat.
