Abstract

Al-Syatibi is considered to be the father of maqashid classical scholars through his monumental work al-Muwaffaqat fi Usul al-Syariah. On the other hand, modernization was carried out by Rasyid Ridha who consented to modern cases. Thaha ibn 'Assyria with his monumental work is considered the father of modern maqashid scholars. Jasser Auda with his monumental work Maqasid al-Shariah as Philosophy of Islamic Law: A Systems Approach published by IIIT in London in 2007 is a contemporary maqashid figure who has concerns in the field of Islamic law from a very different generation. This article seeks to systematically reveal the thoughts of Modern and Contemporary Maqashid figures in using the considerations of Maqashid al-Sharia in determining the birth of legal decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of developing mathematics learning media in a valid, practical, and effective material of polyhedron. This research used Research and Development (R&D) with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation model. The developed product was mathematics learning media using the Macromedia Flash application, then tested on students. The collecting data techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observation, and learning outcomes tests. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, teacher and student questionnaires, and student learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used was descriptive data analysis. Based on the validation results from experts related to instructional media, teacher and student response questionnaires and learning outcome tests were categorized as very valid. Referring to the analysis of teacher and student responses, they generally gave positive responses, which means that this learning media was considered practical. In addition, the average test result of student learning fulfilled the minimum completeness criteria, so it was assumed to be effective. Thus, interactive learning media using the Macromedia Flash application was considered valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

These two religions have the same origins. They both originate from the Abrahamic religion. Therefore, they both originally worship the same God. Islam and Christianity are also two of the three largest Abrahamic religions. The third one is Judaism. But they were founded in different eras. Judaism is the oldest, founded in the 7th century BCE. Then Christianity, founded in the first century CE. And the youngest of these three is Islam, founded in the 7th century CE. Islam and Christianity are both monotheistic religions. Below we saw that they have the same God. And they maintained the belief in that same God. The only difference is that these two religions gave different names to their God. The Islamic-Christian meeting in the modern era, the West experienced a new civilization by starting to annex the Eastern regions which were predominantly Muslim. While the Muslims at that time were experiencing a period of disunity among the Muslims. Islamic areas began to be colonized in the form of colonialism and imperialism. Meanwhile, on the African peninsula, France's presence was in stark contrast through the visit of Napoleon Bonaparte to several Muslim countries such as Egypt. This context gives a pattern that Islam has experienced a decline in civilization and access to advanced technology, all the way to Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low realization of zakat distribution in Barru  Regency due to low ratio of the amount of zakat distributed rather than those collected. This study aims to analize the effectively of the zakat distribution. Effectively is realized by targeting accuracy, quality, quantity, monitoring and controlling the distribution of zakat. The research method has been carried out by using qualitative method and descriptive approach. The informant consists of Baznas employee and public figure. The data collection technique has been conducted by using interview and documentary. The data analysis technique has been started by organizing the data, simplifying the data, processing the data analysis, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Baznas Barru were effectively in targeting accuracy, monitoring and controlling but not yet effective in terms of quality and quantity.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the learning outcomes taught using the effect of the 7E cycle Flipped Classroom model on learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 5 Takalar. This study uses a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMAN 5 Takalar, 119 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample of this research is 60 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The inferential analysis includes normality and homogeneity tests of data and hypothesis testing using two independent sample t-tests. The categorization of learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Flipped Classroom model in the 7E cycle, namely, there were 16 students in the very high category (53%), there were 10 students in the high category (34%), and there were 4 students in the medium category (13%). While categorizing learning outcomes of students who were not taught using the Flipped Classroom model in the 7E cycle, 15 were in a low category (50%), and 15 were in the very low class (50%). Testing the hypothesis using the t-test of two independent samples shows a calculated t value of 6.764, where the value is greater than the t table value at degrees of freedom df = 58 and a significance of 0.65 is 1.701. From the statistical test results obtained by the t table value <t count, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there are differences in physics learning outcomes between students who are taught the Flipped Classroom model cycle 7E and students who are not trained using the Flipped Classroom model cycle 7E. The implication of this research is that learning the Flipped Classroom model cycle 7e can improve students' physics learning outcomes in the learning process. For this reason, it is hoped that educators will apply the Flipped Classroom model in the 7E cycle.

Abstract

Medical and Health Sciences based on natural sciences, especially empirical biomedical sciences; often difficult to integrate with Islamic knowledge based on metaphysics and religious morality. The curriculum and science of Medicine and Health adopted from the secular western world does not make religious content a part of the curriculum for Medical and Health Education. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar as the provider of medical education and health sciences has a mandate to include Islamic content in the curriculum of medical education and health sciences that they manage. This paper maps out Islamic content in the medical and health education curriculum at Unismuh Makassar using a normative study approach.Islamic teaching materials in the medical and health education curriculum at FKIK Unismuh Makassar can be mapped into three types, namely: (1) generic-Islamic topics; (2) Islamic professional ethics; (3) integrated Islamic-Medicine skills. The results of this study can assist medical and health education providers in integrating Islamic content into their educational curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the mathematical resilience of students at MTs Ats-Tsabat Makassar. (2) to determine the factors that affect the mathematical resilience of students at MTs Ats-Tsabat Makassar. This research is a type of mixed method research, namely research that uses two methods, namely quantitative methods and qualitative methods, in order to obtain comprehensive, valid, reliable, and objective data. The research design used is a sequential explanatory design. This design is applied by collecting and analyzing quantitative data in the first stage, followed by the collection and analysis of qualitative data in the second stage which is built on the initial quantitative results. The sample used in this study was 44 students of MTs Ats-Tsabat Makassar for quantitative data, and 6 research subjects were selected based on quantitative analysis to be used as sources of qualitative data. The instrument used is a mathematical resilience questionnaire for quantitative data and interview guidelines as a tool for researchers, as the main instrument in collecting qualitative data. The questionnaire used has gone through validation tests from experts and instrument testing which includes validity and reliability tests. The results showed that: 1) The description of the mathematical resilience of MTs Ats-Tsabat Makassar students, namely the average was in the medium category with a percentage of 50%. 2) The factors that influence the mathematical resilience of MTs Ats Tsabat students based on the source of resilience I Have which means external support, it was found that family support factors and peer assistance factors were the determinants of increasing students' mathematical resilience. Then from the second source of resilience, namely I Am in the form of internal support, it was found that those that affect mathematical resilience are the interest factor, the independence factor and the religiosity factor. Then from the I Can source which comes from social and intrapersonal interactions, it is found that the communication ability factor and the emotional management factor can affect mathematical resilience.
