Abstract

The low ability of students’ poetry writing, the learning activities must use one of the fun and interesting learning techniques for students using caricature image media. The use of appropriate media will make it easier for students to understand the poetry material explained by the teacher at school. This study aims to find out how to improve poetry writing skills and to determine the effect of keyword search techniques assisted by caricature media on the poetry writing skills of tenth grade students of MA Islamiyah Ciputat. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach. The population selected by the researchers were students of class X for the academic year 2021/2022 with a total of 50 students. The sample was conducted by means of simple random sampling. The results showed that the experimental group had a significant difference in scores compared to the control group. The highest score was 40% with a range of 65-79 in the experimental class, while in the control class 30% in the range of 23-32. In learning in the experimental class, poetry writing skills using image media were more effective than not using image media for class X students in MA Islamiyah Ciputat.

Abstract

Di era perkembangan teknologi seperti saat ini, guru dituntut untuk mampu mengoperasikan teknologi komputer sebagai sarana untuk membantu guru dalam menyelesaikan admintrasi kelas dan sebagai alat peraga dalam media pembelajaran. siswa mengalami kesulitan pembelajar di masa pandemi karena harus belajar dari rumah. Banyak sekali muatan pembelajaran yang belum mereka pahami terutama pada muatan matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam penggunaan media YouTube pada pembelajaran muatan matematika kelas 6 di SD Negeri Tertek 01. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam penggunaan media YouTube pada pembelajaran muatan matematika kelas 6 di SD Negeri Tertek 01. Dari data hasil tes di kelas 6 pada muatan matematika dengan materi mean, median, modus di SD Negeri Tertek 01 memperoleh presentase sebesar 91,3 % , 100 %, 100%, 91,3%, 91,3%, 78,2%. Berdasarkan hasil tes tersebut dapat disimpulkan dengan prosentase sebesar 92% dari keseluruhan indikator. Dimana angka tersebut termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media YouTube dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran matematika kelas 6 di SD Negeri Tertek 01.

Abstract

This research aims to solve the problem of lazy college among students into a problem that cannot be underestimated. Considering that students bear a heavy burden because they are responsible for advancing the Indonesian nation. Several factors cause students lazy college, unstable physical and psychological conditions and the surrounding environment. Increasing learning motivation is felt to be able to solve this problem and strategies that can be used by students in increasing learning motivation. Learning motivation is also influenced by internal and external factors. Ideals or desires, abilities, conditions, environment, the way lecturers teach can affect the increasing motivation to learn in students.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of availability of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education textbooks in schools. And so far the school still does not have a supply of learning resources in the form of modules. Some learning resources are still limited with simple teaching materials. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, there have been several problems with distance learning. The teacher as an educator is required to be able to create teaching materials according to the conditions of students at this time. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of modules on PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects in the fourth grade of elementary school. As well as to determine the impact of its use on improving student learning outcomes in grade IV SD Negeri 59 Payakumbuh. The type of research used is research and development (R & D) using the ADDIE model. The stages of development are as follows: 1) Analysis Stage, 2) Design Stage, 3) Development Stage, 4) Implementation Stage, 5) Evaluation Stage. The results showed that (1) this development research produced a product in the form of PAI and Budi Pekerti learning modules which aimed to increase the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 59 Payakumbuh (2) The results of research and development of PAI and Budi Pekerti learning modules met the valid criteria with the percentage of test results by material experts is 4.00, module design experts are 4.57 media design experts are 4.46, and subject teachers are 94.71 (3) There is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The results showed that (1) this development research produced a product in the form of PAI and Budi Pekerti learning modules which aimed to increase the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 59 Payakumbuh (2) The results of research and development of PAI and Budi Pekerti learning modules met the valid criteria with the percentage of test results by material, design and language experts obtained a moderate value of 1 or 7.31%, a high score of 12 or 58.53%, and a very high score of 16 or 39.02% with valid interpretations, and high grade subject teachers 15 or 28.84%, and a very high value of 37 or 71.15% with a very practical interpretation. (3) There is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The average pre-test value of the experimental class was 70.15 and the average pre-test of the control class was 67.69. While the post-test value of the experimental class was 88.92 and the post-test value of the control class was 83.38. The results of the validity test using SPSS show that the value of Cronbach's Alpha produced is 0.835 which is greater than the alpha value of 0.05. The results of the practicality test show that the resulting Cronbach's Alpha value is 0.852, which is greater than the alpha value of 0.05. So that it can be interpreted that the practicality of this module (product) in the view of the PAI teacher has a very high level of reliability. The results obtained by students after using the developmental teaching materials have increased, the average value obtained before using the development product is: the experimental class 70.15 and the control class 67.69. After using the product development results, the scores obtained by the students increased to: the experimental class 88.92 and the control class 83.38.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by general problems that occur in the education system of coastal communities, so this study aims to describe the problems contained in the education of coastal children. This study will focus on examining the educational problems experienced by coastal children in Taipa Hamlet, using direct observation research methods, with a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the findings in the field, there are several problems experienced by coastal children in Taipa Hamlet in receiving education, namely inadequate facilities, lack of support from parents, and low interest in learning for coastal children in Taipa Hamlet. The elementary schools in Taipa Hamlet are good, although there are still some classrooms that are not good. The lack of educators, as well as the lack of educational socialization in coastal communities so that lack of education is considered less important in life, causes a lack of parental support in the learning process of their children. Lack of support from parents is also a crucial problem, because children do not get support from their parents. or paying attention to their education will greatly impact their interest in learning. This is because their parents think that education is not too important, the important thing is to make money by helping their family's economy.

Abstract

This article is a simple scientific work on History learning. This study uses the method of Quantitative Research. Aims to find out the use of the Two Stay Two Stray model to increase the activeness of students in learning history. In learning history, a model is needed to facilitate students' understanding, which so far learning history has mostly used the lecture and memorization method. So we need a new model that will make students better understand the material presented and can apply it in everyday life. This research was conducted at SMA N 2 Pekanbaru with the subjects being class XII students. The results of this study indicate that class XII students are very enthusiastic, active and very communicative in participating in the learning process when using the Two Stay Two Stray learning model when studying, different when only using the lecture method, they tend to be more passive, from here the researcher see that the research carried out can be said to be successful.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) This research is focused on seeing how the role of parents in the mathematics learning outcomes of Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka Islamic Junior High School students during the covid 19 pandemic. 3) Is there an influence of the role of parents on the mathematics learning outcomes of Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka Islamic Junior High School students during the covid 19 pandemic. This research is an expost facto study. The population in this study were all class VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka as many as 51 students. Using This research is an ex post facto research. The population in this study were all VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka as many as 51 students. Using saturated sampling technique, a sample of 51 students was obtained. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data processing and discussion in this study, several conclusions were obtained as follows: (1) The Role of Parents of Class VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka obtained the lowest score of 34.38, the highest score of 87.5, the average value of 70, 86 and the standard deviation of 8.85; (2) Student learning outcomes of VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka obtained the lowest score of 40, the highest score of 89, the average value of 69.75 and the standard deviation of 8.17; (3) There is a positive and significant influence on the role of parents on mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka with a contribution value of 57.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of students in class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Kolaka in terms of self confidence. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects of this study consisted of 48 students of class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Kolaka. The instrument used is a mathematical problem-solving ability test consisting of 4 questions, a self confidence questionnaire consisting of 16 statements, and interview guidelines. The results showed that; 1) The average mathematical problem solving ability of students is 49.29 which is in the low category. Many students who have a high ability score are 4 (8%), students with a moderate ability score are 9 (19%), and many students have a low ability score of 35 (73%); 2) The number of students with high self confidence is 8 students (16%), moderate self confidence is 31 students (65%), and low self confidence is 9 (19%); 3) Students with high self confidence have the highest average ability with an average score of 69.94 with moderate criteria, followed by students with moderate and low self confidence with scores of 48.65 and 28, respectively. ,83 both of which are in the low criteria. Subjects with high self confidence are generally able to understand all indicators of mathematical problem solving, namely understanding problems, planning problems, solving problems, and drawing conclusions. Subjects with moderate self confidence were only able to understand 3 indicators, namely understanding the problem, planning the problem, and drawing conclusions. While the indicators solve the problem the subject is less able to understand these indicators. Subjects with low self confidence are less able to solve problems and on other indicators the subject is unable to understand them. So it can be said that the higher the student's self confidence, the better the problem-solving ability and vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims at finding the teacher strategies in teaching reading comprehension and how those strategies implemented in teaching reading comprehension at the tenth grader of SMAN 04 Bombana. The design of the research used descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research was the English teacher of ten grade at SMAN 04 Bombana. Based on the findings the teacher’s strategy in teaching reading comprehension in the ten grade of SMAN 04 Bombana, are Scaffolding, Think-Aloud and Reciprocal Teaching. Scaffolding strategy was implemented by providing examples of reading with correct pronunciation. Then, the teacher implemented think-aloud by providing direction and asking students thought on their reading comprehension. While reciprocal was implemented to provide opportunities for students to be more active and independent in understanding reading text.
