Abstract

The pedagogics competence of Indonesian language education students as prospective professional teachers is needed to improve the quality Indonesian language learning process. This study aimed to describe the pedagogics competence of students as prospective professional teachers in the Indonesian language education study program. This research uses a descriptive method. This study's subjects were all seventh-semester students in the Indonesian language education study program who programmed microteaching courses for the 2020/2021 academic year, totalling 34 students. The research data collection uses a pedagogic ability test through a google form. The percentage of students who have pedagogic abilities is reviewed by each indicator, namely: Indicator I of 11.76%, indicator II of 72.06%, indicator III of 57.35, indicator IV of 23.53, indicator V of 61.76, indicator VI of 79.41, indicator VII of 64.71, indicator VIII is 48.53, and indicator IX is 58.82. Overall, the percentage of achievement indicators obtained is 53.10%. So, it can be concluded in this study that the pedagogic ability of the seventh-semester students in the Indonesian language education study program is in a low category.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe students' learning style preferences in the mathematics education study program based on class and gender. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive design that describes the percentage of learning style trends in mathematics education students based on class and gender and then draws conclusions on the percentage of learning style preference. The sample of this research was 44 students of the Mathematics Education study program at USN Kolaka. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire containing 16 questions related to VARK learning styles (Visual, Auditorial, Read/Write, Kinesthetic). The VARK questionnaire instrument used is a standard questionnaire adapted from The VARK Questionnaire Version 7.1. The results showed that students’ learning styles had a multimodal preference(23% bimodal, 27% trimodal, 18% quadmodal).When viewed from class, class A and class B also have a multimodal preference where ARK is the most dominant preference for class A while class B's most dominant preferences are AK and VARK. In terms of gender, women had a multimodal preference (7% bimodal, 33% trimodal and 13% quadmodal) and men had a multimodal preference (31% bimodal, 24% trimodal and 21% quadmodal).

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain video pembelajaran matematika materi turunan fungsi yang layak digunakan bagi siswa SMA Kelas IX. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian pengembangan merupakan penelitian yang berorientasi untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji kelayakan produk tersebut. Desain video pembelajaran materi turunan dilakukan dengan langkah 4-D yaitu langkah define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan) develop (pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebaran). Subjek uji coba terbatas penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Kendari yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket lembar validasi dan angket respon siswa yang disusun dalam google form. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media menunjukkan bahwa desain video pembelajaran materi turunan berada dalam kriteria sangat valid. Hasil dari rerata indikator respon siswa yang terdiri atas fungsi dan manfaat, penyajian video serta bahasa dan tipografi menunjukkan persentase 87,3% yang berarti respon siswa menunjukkan sangat positif terhadap desain video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Dengan demikian video pembelajaran matematika materi turunan fungsi layak digunakan sebagai media belajar interaktif secara mandiri di sekolah atau di rumah dalam rangka menarik minat siswa dan memudahkan siswa dalam memahami turunan fungsi.  Kata kunci: matematika; turunan fungsi; video pembelajaran; AbstractThis study aims to design a mathematics learning video for derivative material that is suitable for use for class IX high school students. The research method used in this research is development research. Development research is research that is oriented to produce certain products and test the feasibility of these products. The design of the derived material learning video is carried out in a 4-D step, namely the define, design develop and disseminate. The subjects of the limited trial of this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 10 Kendari, totaling 21 students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire validation sheet and student response questionnaire compiled in google form. The results of the validation of material experts and media experts show that the design of the derived material learning video is within the valid criteria. The results of the average student response indicators consisting of functions and benefits, video presentation as well as language and typography showed a percentage of 87.3% which means that responses showed a very positive attitude towards the learning video design developed. Thus the mathematics learning video for derivative is appropriate to be used as media for independent interactive learning at school or at home in order to attract students' interest and make it easier for students to understand derivatives.Keywords: derivative; learning video; mathematics

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) This research is focused on seeing how the role of parents in the mathematics learning outcomes of Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka Islamic Junior High School students during the covid 19 pandemic. 3) Is there an influence of the role of parents on the mathematics learning outcomes of Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka Islamic Junior High School students during the covid 19 pandemic. This research is an expost facto study. The population in this study were all class VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka as many as 51 students. Using This research is an ex post facto research. The population in this study were all VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka as many as 51 students. Using saturated sampling technique, a sample of 51 students was obtained. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data processing and discussion in this study, several conclusions were obtained as follows: (1) The Role of Parents of Class VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka obtained the lowest score of 34.38, the highest score of 87.5, the average value of 70, 86 and the standard deviation of 8.85; (2) Student learning outcomes of VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka obtained the lowest score of 40, the highest score of 89, the average value of 69.75 and the standard deviation of 8.17; (3) There is a positive and significant influence on the role of parents on mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII SMP IT Wihdatul Ummah Kolaka with a contribution value of 57.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical problem solving ability of students in class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Kolaka in terms of self confidence. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects of this study consisted of 48 students of class VIII MTs Negeri 2 Kolaka. The instrument used is a mathematical problem-solving ability test consisting of 4 questions, a self confidence questionnaire consisting of 16 statements, and interview guidelines. The results showed that; 1) The average mathematical problem solving ability of students is 49.29 which is in the low category. Many students who have a high ability score are 4 (8%), students with a moderate ability score are 9 (19%), and many students have a low ability score of 35 (73%); 2) The number of students with high self confidence is 8 students (16%), moderate self confidence is 31 students (65%), and low self confidence is 9 (19%); 3) Students with high self confidence have the highest average ability with an average score of 69.94 with moderate criteria, followed by students with moderate and low self confidence with scores of 48.65 and 28, respectively. ,83 both of which are in the low criteria. Subjects with high self confidence are generally able to understand all indicators of mathematical problem solving, namely understanding problems, planning problems, solving problems, and drawing conclusions. Subjects with moderate self confidence were only able to understand 3 indicators, namely understanding the problem, planning the problem, and drawing conclusions. While the indicators solve the problem the subject is less able to understand these indicators. Subjects with low self confidence are less able to solve problems and on other indicators the subject is unable to understand them. So it can be said that the higher the student's self confidence, the better the problem-solving ability and vice versa.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the quality of life of the people of Lapao-pao Village amid the covid-19 pandemic, especially regarding health and environmental hygiene issues and children's interest in learning. The method of this activity was carried out in the form of thematic KKN, which synergizes knowledge and solves problems in the community through the concept of empowerment and fosters students in implementing the understanding that they were engaged in community life. The steps of this activity consist of preparation, implementation, and evaluation of activities. Implementation of the Community Service Program in Lapao-pao Village, Wolo District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, for approximately one month starting on 3 September 2020 - 3 October 2020. Based on the activities carried out, it was concluded that all programs can be carried out well, smoothly, and realized 100%. With the implementation of these programs, it is hoped that it will be beneficial for the people of Lapao-pao Village. Especially in increasing the spirit of hard work, desire to progress, positive mental attitude, critical mindset, in the end, being able to develop themselves and maintain the health and cleanliness of the community environment.

Abstract

Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan lahan, lingkungan sekitar dan kegiatan sosial berbasis KKN merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Adanya kegiatan pengabdian KKN ini diharapkan menjadi solusi, motivasi, dan fasilitasi bagi masyarakat dalam rangka kemajuan  pembangunan di daerah pedesaan.  beberapa program kegiatan KKN disiapkan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran hidup sehat pada masyarakat. Beberapa masalah yang menjadi perhatian pengabdian  KKN ini, yaitu: 1) Pengadaan beberapa fasilitas pemerintah desa. Perhatian awal ditunjukkan pada kondisi fasilitas kantor desa yang masih kurang seperti pengadaan tempat sampah; 2) Tidak adanya sumber informasi tentang, batas desa, dan batas dusun; 3)     Tidak adanya pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah; 4) Tidak adanya tempat pembuangan sampah akhir. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian KKN di Desa Tikonu, yaitu: 1) munculnya dan meningkatnya kesadaran penduduk tentang pola hidup bersih; 2) tersediannya sarana yang dibutuhkan untuk membantu pemerintah dalam menjaga kebersihan desa; 3)terciptanya kerja bakti untuk membersihkan lingkungan sekitar desa; 4) meningkatnya hubungan emosional yang baik antar masyarakat yang ada di desa, dan meningkatkannya kebersihan lingkungan sekitar; 5) adanya kesadaran masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) kombinasi Pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap pemahaman relasional matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen Reseach atau penelitian percobaan dengan desain penelitian Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Variabel dalam penelitian eksperimen ini yaitu pemahaman relasional matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) kombinasi pendekatan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan pemahaman relasional matematika siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga tahun ajaran 2018. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pemberian posttest. Instrumen analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji-t independent sampel t test terhadap nilai hasil tes pemahaman relasional, yaitu nilai posttest dengan bantuan SPSS 19. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) kombinasi pendekatan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) lebih efektif terhadap pemahaman relasional siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Analisis Minat Belajar Matematika Siswa Ditinjau Dari Jenis Kelamin Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lalolae Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 23 siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket minat belajar. Indikator yang digunakan pada angket minat belajar: (1) adanya perasaan senang terhadap pembelajaran, (2) adanya ketertarikan terhadap pembelajaran, (3) adanya keterlibatan dan kemauan untuk belajar, (4) adanya kemauan dari dalam diri untuk aktif, rajin dalam belajar dan mengerjakan tugas dalam pembelajaran, (5) adanya upaya yang dilakukan untuk merealisasikan keinginan untuk tekun dan disiplin dalam jadwal belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Dari 23 jumlah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lalolae terdapat 5 siswa memiliki minat belajar sangat tinggi, 16 siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi dan 2 siswa dengan minat belajar sedang. Pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lalolae terdapat skor rata-rata minat belajar siswa laki-laki sebesar 125,77 lebih besar dari skor rata-rata minat belajar siswa perempuan sebesar 121.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan self efficacy mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang memprogramkan mata kuliah profesi kependidikan, mengetahui penyebab-penyebab yang mempengaruhi self efficacy mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang memprogramkan mata kuliah profesi kependidikan tahun akademik 2020/2021. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui pemberian angket self efficacy dan wawancara. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif sederhana. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah self efficacy mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang memprogramkan mata kuliah profesi kependidikan berada pada kategori tinggi. Penyebab-penyebabnya adalah persepsi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah profesi kependidikan dan komitmen yang kuat.
