Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to determine the effect of variations in the dosage of liquid organic fertilizer from chicken egg shell waste on the growth of red spinach plants, 2) to determine the effect of the best dose variations that had an effect on the growth of red spinach plants, 3) to determine whether or not brochure was feasible. to serve as a learning resource for students. This type of research is experimental, this study uses a complete randomized block design (RAKL) with 6 treatments and 5 groups and 2 replications. Treatment A 20 ml / L, treatment B 40 ml / L, treatment C 60 ml / L, treatment D 80 ml / L, treatment E 100 ml / L and control 40 ml / L. To determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from chicken egg shell waste, data analysis was carried out using parametric tests (normal data). , non-parametric test (abnormal data) and further tests to find out the most optimum treatment for red spinach growth.. The parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands) and red spinach plant wet weight (grams). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of giving liquid organic fertilizer from chicken eggshell waste to height growth, number of leaves and plant wet weight.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1)produced LKPD (Students’s workseet) based on PBL learning models. 2) to utilize natural resources in the form of the Bekri River which can be used as learning media for students. The research was carried out through 4 stages, that is defining, design, development, and dissemination. In the define stage, the researcher conducted a survey at MA Bustanul Ulum Jaya Sakti for seeking the problems that occurred through interviews and observation steps with Biology subject teachers. In the design phase, the researcher compiles the LKPD (Students' Worksheet) development plan to be developed. In the development phase, the researcher produced LKPD (Students' Worksheet) based on PBL learning models on the subject matter of environmental change. At this stage, the validation process of the product feasibility was also carried out by material experts, subject teachers, design experts, and the trial process for students at MA Bustanul Ulum Jaya Sakti. The percentage results obtained from the validation of material experts by 88% -92%, design experts by 90% -94%, subject teachers 92%, and student trials by 84% -94%, this states that the LKPD (Students' Worksheet) developed is feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the dosage of banana compost fertilizer on the growth of pakcoy plants, to determine the variation in the dosage of compost that gave the best effect and to compile the research results as a source of learning biology. This type of research is an experimental study using RAKL 2 control 4 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments were P1 (0.4 kg/polybag of banana compost), P2 (0.6 kg/polybag of banana compost), P3 (0.8 kg/polybagof banana compost) and P4 (1 kg/polybag compost for banana plants) and control K1 (1/4 kg/polybag cow manure) and K2 (0 kg/polybag fertilizer). Each treatment was given 6 times repetition. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves and wet weight (gr) of pakcoy plants. Data were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA (Normality, Homogeneity, Hypothesis and BNJ Test). Based on the results of the study, there was an effect of variations in the dosage of banana compost fertilizer on the growth of pakcoy plants. Hypothesis test results show Fhit> Fdaf. Subsequent testing of BNJ showed that P4 treatment had the best effect on the growth of pakcoy plants. based on the validation analysis of learning resources, this research is suitable of learning biology in the from of brochures.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the variation of the pumakkal formula on the levels of N, P, K in the liquid fertilizer of noodle production waste, to determine the variation of the pumakkal formula according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) as a material for constructing support for learning biology. This type of research is an experimental study using the pumakkal formula P1 (3 bacteria), P2 (6 bacteria), P3 (9 bacteria), P4 (12 bacteria), and P5 (15 bacteria). The parameter observed was the content of Nitrogen (N) levels. Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K). Analyzed using qualitative methods by comparing the results with the SNI for liquid fertilizers. Based on the results of the study, there was an effect of variations in the pumakkal formula on the liquid waste of noodle production. testing with SNI for liquid fertilizer showed that treatment 3 (P3) with a percentage yield of 2,092, treatment 4 (P4) with a result of 2,386, and treatment 5 (P5) with a result of 2,445 met SNI, and the best results were in treatment 5 (P5). Based on the validation analysis, learning support has a percentage value of 97.5%, so it is feasible to be used as a support for learning biology in the form of Student Activity Sheets (LKPD).

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the macrofungi species found in the Rigis Jaya forest area, West Lampung (2) to determine the diversity index of the macrofungal species found in the Rigis Jaya forest area, West Lampung (3) to determine whether this research is suitable for use as teaching materials in encyclopedia form. The approach used in the study of Macrofungi Diversity in the Rigis Jaya Forest Area, West Lampung as a Learning Resource in the form of an Encyclopedia is qualitative. The type of research used is descriptive. This data collection uses observation, namely by direct observation in the field using the roaming method (exploration), and using purposive sampling is a sampling technique that is not based on random by dividing into 3 stations. Researchers were able to find 19 macrofungi species from 531 individual fungi, divided into 4 orders, namely Auricularales, Polyporales, Agaricales, and Russulales. the feasibility of the encyclopedia product that has been made, the average value of the two validators is 84%, namely with good criteria and declared valid and feasible as a source of student learning. Encyclopedia products are said to be valid if the two validation results get a percentage range of 61%-100%

Abstract

Fisheries are one of the trade commodities that are favored by the public for consumption, both freshwater fish and seawater fish. Fish is much favored by the community in addition to having a good taste as well as an affordable price. From the high interest in fish consumption, traditional markets cause pollution to the environment. The pollution is in the form of waste fish. This research was conducted as a solution to overcome the problem of fish market liquid waste that can be used as raw material for making liquid organic fertilizer by optimizing the utilization of the Pumakkal starter. In this study, treatment was carried out with 1 control and 5 treatments, and 3 replications. P1 with a varied formula of 3 isolates, P2 with a variety of formula 6 isolates, P3 with a variety of formula 9 isolates, P4 with a variation of formula 12 isolates, and P5 with a variation of formula 15 isolates. The research results show that levels of N + P + K has a quality standard set by the government (2-6%). In the P0 treatment, the percentage of N+P+K was 5.685%. Then in the P1 treatment, the percentage of N+P+K was 6.998%. Then in the P2 treatment, the percentage of N+P+K was 7.727%. Then in the P3 treatment, the percentage of N+P+K was 8.430%. Furthermore, in the P4 treatment, the percentage of N+P+K was 8.284%. Meanwhile, for the P5 treatment, the percentage of N+P+K was 9.658%. At levels of C-Organic, it has a quality standard (minimum 10) with a percentage of 18.208%. For the value of C-Organic with a percentage of already complied with the provisions of SNI. For the levels of N+P2O5+K2O with a percentage of 12,239%. The measured pH level, it has a value of 6. Then the liquid organic fertilizer from fish market waste is said to be feasible because it meets the criteria of SNI or Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture no. 261/KTPS/SR. 310/M4/2019.

Abstract

Catfish pond water waste has the potential value to produce fertilizer with innovations in its treatment, converting waste into liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) that can be used by the community as the fertilizer of plants. The aims of this study were 1) To find out which pumakkal formula variation affected the levels of N, P, K in catfish pond wastewater, 2) To find out which pumakkal formula had the best effect on N, P, K levels in catfish pond wastewater, 3) To determine to find out the results of research in the form of LKPD suitable for use as biology teaching materials. This study uses an experimental research design. This study used 1 control and 5 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment 1 used 3 isolates, treatment 2 used 6 isolates, treatment 3 used 9 isolates, treatment 4 used 12 isolates, and treatment 5 used 15 isolates. The results of the test for liquid fertilizer from catfish pond wastewater showed that P5 was the best degrading agent with yields of N (0.533%), P (3.176%), and K (3.994%). Based on the analysis of the validation of teaching materials, this research is suitable for learning biology in the form of student activity sheets with a value of 86% validation of material aspects and 86% of design aspects.

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) determine the types of Lichens found in Kubu Liku Jaya Village, Batu Ketulis District, West Lampung Regency, 2) determine the feasibility of encyclopedias in the form of Biology learning resources on protist material of lichen sub material. . The approach and type of research used was descriptive qualitative with research methods and the research technique is purposive sampling. This research was conducted for 8 consecutive days. Based on the results of research at 4 observation stations, 18 species were found including Usnea filipendula, Parmelia sulcata, Physcia aipolia, Graphis scripta, Parmelia saxatilis, Physcia stellaris, Parmotrema perlatum, Graphis sp, Dirinaria picta, Cladonia portentosa, Centrelia centrarioides, Usnea coniotaps, Amandinea coniotaps , Scipta beauvoisii, Punctelia borreri, Xanthoparmelia conspersa, Parmeliopsis ambiguna, and Physcia tenella. The 6 families found were Usneaceae, Parmeliaceae, Physciaceae, Graphisceae, Cladoniaceae, and Lobariaceae. The orders found were 4 of them Lecanorales, Teloschitales, Ostropales, and Peltigerales. The results of the calculation of the species diversity index of lichens (Lichenes) in Kubu Liku Jaya Village, Batu Ketulis District, West Lampung Regency showed the number of 2.795 or moderate abundance, the highest was 0.229 for the Parmotrema perlatun species, while the lowest was 0.062 for the Scipta beauvoisii. The encyclopedia that had been developed from the research results had an average percentage score of 91.4% so it was feasible to be used as a source of learning biology in the form of an encyclopedia in high school class x Protista material.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the PBL (Prob1em Based Learning) model with animation questions on the cognitive values ​​of class XI students on the Human Movement System at SMAN 1 Jabung. This type of research was quasi-experimental using a non-equivalent control group design technique. The researcher used 2 sample groups, namely Class XI IPA 2 as an experimental class with 29 students using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model with animation questions and class XI IPA 1 as a control class with 30 students using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model. ) without animation problems. The instrument in this study used a test in the form of multiple choice questions, namely pretest and posttest. Based on the results of the study using the t-test from the post-test results of the experimental class was 78.84 and the control class 65.2 obtained tscore> t-table (17.48>2.00). Then the effectiveness of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model with animation questions was known by the gain score in the experimental class of 0.55 (medium). The control class had a gain score of 0.32 (medium). So it can be concluded that the class that uses the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model with animation questions and the class that used the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model without the animation problem were both effective in increasing the cognitive value of the XI science class students at SMA Negeri 1 Jabung.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce teaching material products in the form of guided..inquiry-based e-modules integrated with character values ​​in human digestive system materials that are suitable for use. The development of this e-module uses a 4-D model, covering four stages, namely, Define (analyze needs), Design (design e-module products), Develop (develop designed e-module products), and Disseminate (Product deployment). The instrument used is an assessment questionnaire. There are two types of questionnaires used, namely the first expert validation questionnaire with 2 assessments (material and design). Both student response questionnaires. The e-module is validated by design and material experts, both validators provide suggestions and comments to improve the e-module. Products that have been revised on the advice of design experts get an average percentage score of 95% and material experts get an average..percentage score of 91%. The e-module product was tested in Class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Metro. Getting a score of all aspects getting a percentage of 89%. The results of expert validation and student responses show that the e-module developed is "Very Appropriate". So that it can be used by students and teachers in the online and offline learning process. This development research has limitations, namely in the stage of spreading it on a small scale.
