Abstract

The research aims to overcome learning difficulties by implementing cooperative learning model “Examples and Non Examples STAD” through activity Lesson Study in Animal Structure college activities. Preliminary research by studying the documentation, observation, and limited interviews  to faculty and students about the usual lectures in Biology Education courses. Retrieval of data using the method of documentation, observation, tests, and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptive qualitatively. Preliminary research findings indicate that the material is abstract and the Basic Tissues are not related to daily life so it needs to concretisation process ; classes force lecturers held a Biology major classical learning, making it more difficult for understanding because students tend to be a listener only and not make the learning process. To overcome the disadvantages of learning in the college made the development of media in the form of a slides lecture that was presented on the LCD, especially for concreting material, students completed worksheets to conduct discussions and small group work activities, sheet test to determine student understanding, and cooperative learning model performed Examples of Non Examples and STAD through Lesson Study activities at the college activities by empowering collaborative work in small groups. Use of the method in this lecture can improve learning activities that were previously only 38.916% to about 73.930 to 77.833%, and all indicators of learning activities can be achieved. The results of the previous lecture that the average score of only 57.759 to 77.155 on Lesson Study2, so the increased is 33.581%. Based on the data obtained can be concluded implementation of cooperative learning model Examples and Non Examples STAD through Lesson Study in Animal Structure college activities can be a solution to overcome the difficulties learning materials Basic Tissues, which demonstrated the increased activity and student learning outcomes.Kata kunci: examples non examples, STAD, struktur hewan, lesson study

Abstract

This research was carried out in Yosomulyo village Metro Pusat Districk, Metro City. Objective of this reasearch was: (1) To know the different of red chili (Capsicum annum, L.) production beetwen using burn husk compost media plant and burn husk manure media plant. (2) To  know the highest red chili (Capsicum annum, L) production beetwen using burn husk compost media plant and burn husk manure media plant. The methode for this research wed experiment methode. With two treatments, for each treatment have 16 samples red chili plant. The data take with weighing the crop, and analyzing wed normalitas and homogenitas, so was gotten the result of the research as wellfor two level equation test got thit 23,68 > tdaf 2,04 at obvious level α = 0,05, with the result thit > tdaf, refuse H0 and the meaning  that any obvious difference of red chili production between use burn husk compost media plant and use burn husk manure media plant. For the two level difference test got thit 23,68 > 1,70 at obvious level α = 0,05 with the result thit > tdaf, refuse H0 and the meaning to the average red chili production with the burn husk compost media plant higher than production with the burn husk manure media plant. For education world, this research used the source for study biology subject about growth and development material.   Kata kunci:  media sekam bakar kompos, sekam bakar pupuk kandang, produksi cabai.

Abstract

Phytotechnology plays as integral strategy for planning and environment sanitation process. Phytoprocess on phytotechnology makes possible the realization of healthy environment mission, because plant have ability to recycle material, as natural so as environment resources conservation technology, which essential in continuously development. Green school have commitment with systematic develop programs for internalyzing environment value to school activity. Abstract

This research was the Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted caused the students lack in learning process actively. Therefore, the researcher applied Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method and Time Token that considered the eagerness as the motivation for the students in order that they be able to follow the learning process actively. It is expected to have an impact of  learning achievment obviously. This classroom action research has an objective to increase eagerness and students learning achievement of X1 class of Senior High School 1 of Trimurjo. From this research can be inferred that there were an increasing the eager to study of the students. It  perceived to the activity of the students in pre-research towards the activity after doing research based on the increasing of evaluation product. The researcher recommend using Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method And Time Token be able to apply in learning process in order to increase the eagerness and students learning achievement considered the time within the arranging of lesson plan.Kata kunci: artikulasi, time token, minat, hasil belajar

Abstract

The heavy metal profile analysis of Cd, Cr(VI) and Pb in the different location in Lampung Province and their bioaccumulation to crops has been conducted. The aims were finding out the difference of metal accumulation in the different pollutant area and determining how it happened to the vegetables surrounding, which were kangkoong and spinach. The research methods were purposive sampling in the different location in Lampung Province, namely 1) highlands, 2) paddy fields, 3) road sides and 4)industrial areas. Based on the results, it is found that the highest metal concentration of Cd, Cr(VI) and Pb are in the industrial area. Commonly, the value of BCFo-w (0,12-2,00) is higher than BCF¬o-s (0,01-0,18) which shows that there is low metal accumulation of Cd, Cr(VI) and Pb in kangkoong and spinach. Furthermore, the BCF value of Cd and Cr(VI) are higher compared to Pb. Keywords: Logam berat, Cd, Cr(VI), Pb,bioakumulasi.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif ini dilakukan pada program studi Pendidikan Biologi pada semester ganjil dan genap 2013/2014, melalui studi dokumentasi terhadap entry pemaketan mata kuliah yang terdata dalam KRS (Kartu Rencana Studi), serta KHS/Kartu Hasil Studi mahasiswa. Diperoleh rerata paket matakuliah maksimal/24 sks semester ganjil dan genap berhasil diprogramkan oleh ≥ 90% mahasiswa, dengan perolehan IP rerata ≥ 90% mahasiswa adalah ≥ 3,0. Capaian hasil belajar secara umum mengalami penurunan. Pada nilai A menurun 4,67%, A- menurun 6,75%, B+ menurun 1,9%. Di sisi lain terjadi kenaikan prosentase mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah KKM, yaitu terjadi peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah B termasuk nilai yang belum lulus karena permasalahan mahasiswa tertentu dengan peningkatan hampir 100%. Kondisi ini memperkuat kesimpulan terjadinya penurunan hasil perkuliahan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities in class require learning media that are able to convey material messages well. Learning media can be made by utilizing information technology, namely in the form of android-based learning media mobile learning. This research aims to (1) produce android-based mobile learing learning media in high school class X Invertebrate material that is good and worthy of being used as a learning media. (2) find out the response of users of mobile learning media, namely high school class X students to the learning media developed. This type of research is development research. Learning media developed using a development model proposed by Thiagarajan. The subjects of this study were 3 expert lecturers, 10 students in the limited trial and 20 students in the field trial. From the results of the study, product validity is in very good and valid criteria with a score of 83.64% in design aspects, 100% in material aspects, 93% in IT aspects, 83.33% in limited trials, 85.10% in field trials. This mobile learning media learning product is considered valid and feasible to be used to support biology learning activities.

Abstract

Cd, Pb heavy metal absorption in aquatic vegetables: Genjer (Limnocharis flava), Kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica Forsk) dan Selada air (Nasturtium officinale R. Br), studied to see the relationship with green figure scale. The research objective was to identify the accumulated Cd, Pb in the consumed organ vegetable, and their impacts to the levels of green figure scale. The research was undertaken by planting three kinds of the aquatic vegetables to the contaminated pure Cd,pure Pb media, mixture of Cd and Pb with factorial randomized block design. Data were analyzed by factorial One-Way Anova and further test of Duncan and HSD to see the difference of Cd, Pb and green figure scale, regression and correlation to know the contribution of Cd, Pb in influencing the green figure scale. Variety of vegetables, media, organ, and the interaction influences the accumulation of Cd, Pb and level of green figure scale. There is a relationship between Cd, Pb metal accumulation to the level of  green figure scale of the aquatic vegetables, with negative correlation that Cd, Pb decreased the vegetable green figure scale.Keywords: the influence of Cd, Pb; aquatic vegetables; green figure scale
