Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in a country's economy. They contribute to job creation, local economic growth, and product or service innovation. Education is also recognised as a key pillar in community and economic development. Improving the quality of education has the potential to help MSMEs grow and thrive. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of business mentors in supporting the growth of MSMEs that receive support from education. This research is a literature review that uses a qualitative method approach, which means it will analyse and interpret data by relying on information and text from special sources, namely Google Scholar and Google search engine. The results of this study show that the role played by business mentors in supporting the growth of education-supported MSMEs is significant. The collaboration between business knowledge gained through formal education and practical guidance from mentors forms a strong foundation for sustainable business growth. Mentors not only provide insight and experience, but also help young business owners overcome challenges, formulate effective strategies, and build valuable networks. In an ever-changing business ecosystem, this role is becoming increasingly important in moulding the next generation of competent and innovative entrepreneurs.

Abstract

In the midst of increasingly fierce competition, students as the younger generation have the potential to become innovative and highly competitive entrepreneurs. However, the first step in the entrepreneurial journey, namely developing a viable business idea, is often an obstacle for many students. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the role of business incubators in encouraging students to develop entrepreneurial ideas. This research is a literature review that uses a qualitative method approach, which means it will analyse and interpret data by relying on information and text from various sources. The study results show that the role of business incubators in encouraging students to develop entrepreneurial ideas is crucial. Business incubators provide a supportive environment, valuable resources, training, infrastructure, funding sources, and collaboration opportunities that all contribute to the development of creative ideas into successful businesses. Business incubators also help develop the entrepreneurial character and mentality necessary to face the challenges and uncertainties of the business world.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is an important part of preparing individuals to develop the insights, skills, and attitudes needed to create and manage successful business ventures. This research aims to examine more deeply the use of digital technology to support the entrepreneurship education process. This research is a literature review that uses a qualitative method approach, which means it will analyse and interpret data by relying on information and text from special sources, namely Google Scholar and Google search engine. The study results show that the use of digital technology in entrepreneurship education has brought fundamental changes in the way students learn, interact and prepare themselves to become successful entrepreneurs. From easy access to information to virtual business simulations, global collaboration to digital marketing, technology has become a driving force in changing the approach to entrepreneurship education

Abstract

This research is motivated by the emergence of barriers to student in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho in flat-sided. The purpose of this research is to design a mathematics learning module based on Discovery Learning and Obstacle Solving on the material of prisms and pyramids that is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is design research. The design model used is the Didactical Design Research (DDR) model. The first stage is analyzing the didactical situation before learning. The second stage is the metapedidactic stage, which is learning activities to carry out individual trials, small group test, and field trials. The third stage is the retrospective stage, which is the stage of analyzing the metapedidactic stage.  Based on the research results, the designed learning module has been tested very valid by two material expert validators with an average percentage of 92.18%, language expert validator of 97.73%, and design expert validator of 98.80%. Furthermore, the module is also very practical to be use by students with a percentage of practicality of 92.23% and the percentage of practicality from the teachers of 93.18%. The module was also very effective with a percentage of classical completeness of 81.48%. From the research results above, the learning module designed based on Discovery Learning and Obstacle Solving has met expectations or objectives of the research.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that must be mastered by students at school. But the reality is that SMP Negeri 1 Botomuzoi students suffer from learning difficulties because of the mathematical communication skills of the students who are still in the category. So, the student is unable to communicate his ideas and ideas without the teacher's involvement. The aim of this study was to find out the influence of Trefffinger's learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. This type of research is experimental research using experimental methods (quasy experimental research). The research population was a whole of class VIII students consisting of 4 classes with samples of 2 classes taken by random sampling, namely class VIII-3 as a control class and class VIII-4 as an experimental class. The data is collected by giving the student a mathematical communication skills test that is analyzed by guiding the student's mathematics communication ability test withdrawal. Based on the results of the research, obtained the test of the hypothesis with the value thitung = 11,687 and the value ttable = 1,67. Because thitung > ttable or 11,687>1,67 then reject Ho and accept Ha. which means “There is an effect of Treffinger's learning model on the mathematical communication skills of students in SMP Negeri 1 Botomuzoi

Abstract

This research is based on a preliminary study conducted by researchers during observations at SMP Negeri 3 Mandrehe Barat. The problem is that students' mathematical problem-solving skills still need improvement. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of brainstorming learning methods on students' mathematical problem-solving ability. This type of research uses the quasi-experimental research method involving two groups that are given different treatments. The population of this study was all VIII classes of SMP Negeri 3 Mandrehe Barat, and two classes were selected by simple random sampling as research samples, namely class VIII-A totaling 20 students as an experimental class taught using the brainstorming learning method and class VIII-B 21 students as a control class taught using conventional learning methods. Data were collected through student mathematical problem-solving ability tests. Based on this research, the results of hypothesis testing are   and . Because   > , then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted that there is an effect of brainstorming learning method on students' mathematical problem-solving ability at SMP Negeri 3 Mandrehe Barat.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of a preliminary study by researchers at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli, especially in Class VIII, it was found that the science learning process tends to utilize conventional learning models, student learning activities are lacking and the average score of student learning outcomes in the midterm exams is still in the low category. This study aims to describe the science learning process by applying the problem-solving learning model, describing student learning activities by applying the problem-solving learning model and describing student learning outcomes by applying the problem-solving learning model. The results showed: 1) The science learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli in the 2022/2023 academic year by applying the Problem-Solving learning model in cycle I was 49.5% in the pretty good category and in cycle II it was 87% in the very good category. 2) student learning activities in cycle I obtained a percentage of 51.5% with the category quite active and in cycle II obtained a percentage of 89% with very active criteria. 3) Student learning outcomes in cycle I have an average value of 68.02 in the good category and a completeness percentage of 53%. In cycle II, student learning outcomes have an average score of 81.83 in the good category and a completeness percentage of 87%. Thus, the Problem-Solving learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop e-modules using 3D Pageflip Professional on Poetry Material in Class X SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. This type of research is development research. The development model used is the 4D model. The first stage in the 4D model is the define stage carried out by researchers in the field. The second is design (design) carried out after finding the problems that have been defined in the initial stage. This design stage aims to design an e-module media that can be used in learning. The third stage is develop (development) carried out by obtaining a product feasibility value validated by material experts, linguists, and media experts.  And the fourth stage of desseminate (dissemination) is the spread of product development, but given the limited costs, it only reaches the development stage. Based on the results of the study, the developed e-module has been tested highly valid by material validators at 95.96%, linguists at 85%, and media experts at 98.75%. Furthermore, the e-module is also very practical to be used by students with a practicality percentage of 86.4%. The e-module was also effective with a percentage of classical completeness of 85.72%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a decent, practical, and effective Direct Instruction-based booklet learning media. This research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Booklet development research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. The results of the research are in the form of Direct Instruction-based booklet products on personal letter writing material. The results of the questionnaire assessment of individual trial student responses obtained a score of 97.7% in the very practical category. In the small group trial, a score of 98.5% was obtained in the very practical category. In the field trial, a score of 90.1% was obtained in the very practical category. Assessment of student learning outcomes tests obtained a percentage of classical completeness in individual trials of 95.0% very effective category. In the small group trial 95.05 the category was very effective. In field trials 94.1% category is very effective. So, the research above, it was concluded that the Direct Instruction-based booklet learning media is feasible, practical, and effective to use so that it fulfills the research objectives.

Abstract

The observation results obtained were that students tend to get bored studying using existing printed books. The purpose of this research is (1) to develop e-modules. (2) to determine the feasibility of the e-module (3) to determine the practicality of the e-module, (4) to determine the effectiveness of the e-module. The method used is ADDIE which has 5 stages consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the results of research by validation by material experts, the first revision was 56%, the second revision was 75.8% and the third revision was 94.8%. The results of validation by linguists in the first revision were 71%, the second revision was 78% and the third revision was 100%. The results of validation by media experts in the first revision were 52%, the second revision was 73% and the third revision was 96%. The results of individual trials were 86.6%, small group trials were 90%, and field trials were 97%. The completeness results obtained at the final evaluation reached 98.5% completeness. So, it can be concluded that e-modules can be said to be feasible, practical, and effective as learning references.
