Abstract

This article aims to find out a brief history of the birth of the Ottoman Empire, young Ottoman figures and modern ideas in the Islamic world. This research method is a literature review using a qualitative approach. Data is obtained from articles published through google scholar. Data from selected articles were then analyzed using a descriptive approach to describe key findings, identify patterns and trends, and summarize key conclusions from the reviewed literature. The data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The main finding of this article is that the Ottoman Empire was founded by the Oghuz Turkish tribe, with Ertugrul as its original founder, and then continued and strengthened by his son, Uthman bin Ertugrul, who is considered the main founder of the Ottoman Empire. The ideas put forward by the Young Ottoman leaders were influential in the period of renewal after the Tanzimat period. The Young Ottomans were originally a secret group founded in 1865 with the aim of overthrowing the absolute rule of the Ottoman Empire and pushing for a constitutional government. The Young Ottoman figures were active in carrying out secret movements. Their interactions with liberal thinkers from France and England exerted a significant influence on the Young Ottoman movement. Therefore, some of the changes they propose tend to be liberal in nature

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the maxims of politeness of language used when communicating with lecturers via WhatsApp. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach method, data collection techniques, namely interviews and observations, other supporting data, namely screenshots of WhatsApp chats of students and lecturers. And using the word "sorry" to respect the interlocutor, sorry for disturbing his time, or disturbing his comfort, in the maxim of wisdom the speaker shows respect for the interlocutor, the maxim of appreciation shows respect for the opinion of the interlocutor, the maxim of generosity shows responsibility, the maxim of simplicity shows the humility and humility of the speaker, the maxim of agreement shows an agreement between lecturers and students, the maxim of sympathy, shows respect and sympathy for the interlocutor

Abstract

The research entitled "Analysis of Nias Regional Language Code Mixing in the Learning Process at Idanoi Private Junior High School" was conducted with the aim of finding out things related to code mixing that often occurs in the school environment in the delivery of information by students. The method used in this study is qualitative, using a descriptive approach in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The data collection technique was produced from observations in the form of video recording documentation and audio recordings carried out at Idanoi Private Junior High School. The research was carried out in one meeting in which the researcher took a sample of 10 boys and 10 girls in class VII-A. After taking the sample, the researcher conducted a codemixing analysis and concluded when the teaching and learning process began. After conducting the research, the researcher learned that the code mixing that occurred in Idanoi Private Junior High School was influenced by several factors, including the community environment, social interactions, and the school environment itself

Abstract

This research aims to develop educational e-comic media as a learning medium for science and science subjects in class V SDN 07 Pulau Air using the ADDIE model which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis in the research carried out validity tests, practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The validity test was carried out by 3 validators consisting of 1 material validator and 2 media validators. Product trials were carried out by 25 class V.A students at SDN 07 Pulau Air with the aim of finding out the practicality of the product being developed, and effectiveness testing was carried out by distributing pretest and posttest questions. The results of research on the development of educational e-comic media obtained an average score for material of 4.92 with very suitable criteria, and 4.95 for media with very suitable categories. The students' practicality test results obtained a total average of 4.5 in the very practical category. The results of the effectiveness test obtained t_count of 11.52 and t_table= 2.064. Thus we get t_count > t_table. Based on the results of validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests, it can be concluded that the use of digital e-comic media in science and science learning is very suitable for use and has a significant effect on the learning process

Abstract

This research aims to produce learning video media for SKI Class VII MTsN subjects that are valid and practical. This type of research is development research, known as Research and Development (R&D), using the 4-D development model. The development procedure in this research consists of 4 stages, namely, (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate. The product validity test was carried out by 3 validators, namely 1 material validator and 2 media validators. Product trials were carried out on class VII students at MTsN 5 Tanah Datar with the aim of finding out the practicality of the product being developed. The results of material validation by material expert validators obtained an average of 4.94 in the "very valid" category. The results of the media validator assessment with validator I obtained an average of 4.93 in the "very valid" category and the validation results with validator II obtained an average of 4.93 in the "very valid" category. This learning multimedia is said to be practical based on the results of the practicality test with an average of 4.5. Based on the results of the validity test and practicality test, it can be concluded that learning multimedia in PAI subjects for class IV elementary school is suitable for use in learning

Abstract

Digital classes students follow learning by listening to the teacher's briefing that enters the class, using various needs for learning such as LKS, textbooks, and other media. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of digital classroom learning in the subject of Information and Communication Technology in grade VII of SMP Negeri Payakumbuh. The type of research is quantitative research with a sample of 38 where in this quantitative research uses many numbers. The research method used is a quasi experiment. Data collection is carried out through tests, and data analysis is carried out using t-tests. The results of the study showed that the average score obtained in ICT subjects using google classroom on student learning outcomes was higher than the average score in the control class that used paper sheets. Thus, the t-count is smaller than the t-table, which can be interpreted that there is a significant effectiveness on student learning outcomes between classes that use google classroom in digital classrooms.

Abstract

Social media can be used as a modern learning resource, one of which is the Instagram application. Because users can access learning content from experts or users with certain areas of knowledge and skills. Instagram is a source of learning because the content presented entertains and educates students. This study aims to describe the availability of Instagram content, the relevance of Instagram content, and the improvement of individual learning in students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, the sample of this research is 40 students in grade XI. Data collection using a closed questionnaire with 30 questions. The results of the study concluded that the perception of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Painan towards the use of the Instagram application as a learning resource in Physics subjects was reviewed from the availability of Instagram content of 78%, which was in the strong category, while in terms of the relevance of Instagram Content 78.55% was also in the strong category, and in terms of increasing individual learning, 77.3% was also categorized as strong. Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that Instagram has become a significant learning resource in Physics Learning. Varied and creative Instagram content can help students learn and can motivate students

Abstract

The study aims to test the effectiveness of a Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model with a tool in improving students' ability to think critically about learning mathematics. The research method used is quantitative with the type of Quasi-experimental research. The study population was class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur in the 2023-2024 school year, with samples taken using purposive sampling technique, namely classes X1 and X2 with a total of 64 students and the statistical test used was t-test. The instruments used included testing students' critical thinking skills and elevating students' responses. Data analyzed using test instruments and analysis of mathematical critical thinking abilities. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in average mathematical critical thinking skills between students who obtained cooperative NHT-type learning with a tool compared to students who gained conventional learning. Normality tests and homogenity tests show that the N-Gain Score data are distributed normally and the data variance is homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significant improvement in students' ability to think critically in the experimental group. Students' response to the NHT learning model was also positive

Abstract

Dance arts are related to movement and musical rhythm, with a strong connection to hearing. This research is motivated by the researcher’s interest in the abilities of deaf students who can synchronize their movements with musical rhythms to achieve excellence. The purpose of this study is to describe the teaching methods, the four movements of Tari Payung, and the interest of deaf students in dance arts at SLB Negeri Tamansari in Tasikmalaya City. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use triangulation to combine various data sources and techniques. Qualitative research aims to understand phenomena related to behavior, motivation, perception, and actions of subjects holistically. The research findings indicate that deaf students have a good interest in learning dance arts. Students demonstrate interest, enjoyment, attention, active participation, and good awareness. This is evident from their consistent attendance, enthusiasm during practice, and the achievements they have attained in dance arts education.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the planning for increasing interest in learning, implementation of increasing interest in learning, and increasing student’s interest in learning in Arts, Culture and Crafts learning after using audiovisual media in class VI SDN I Cibeber, Cikalong District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The type of research used in Classroom Action Research using audiovisual media. Learning is carried out through two cycles. The object of research is the application of audiovisual dance media created by Manuk Dadali with the research subjects, namely 15 class VI students at SDN 1 Cibeber Cikalong District Tasikmalaya Regency. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The result of the research after the use of audiovisual showed an increase in student’s interest in learning the dance art Manuk Dadali.
