Abstract

Umar bin Khattab r.a., is one of the Prophet's companions who is different from everything that was bestowed upon him. This figure seems to never dry up as a source of inspiration and knowledge for many people, always being an object of study and research that attracts the interest of scholars, intellectuals, and scientists. The second caliph after Caliph Abu Bakar r.a., has an extraordinary exemplary portrait in terms of leadership and personality. Umar bin Khattab r.a. as one of the Prophet's companions is known to have extraordinary privileges in all dimensions of his life. While the method used in this study uses a qualitative method. The purpose of this study is to find out during the struggles of Umar bin Khattab during his tenure as Caliph Rasyidin. Abstract

Islamic education for children requires the integration of religious values ​​in the curriculum and the active role of families and teachers. This study aims to evaluate the role of teachers and parents in conveying and implementing Islamic values ​​and analyzing the impact of heredity and environmental factors on child development. Qualitative methods with thematic analysis techniques were used to evaluate related literature. The results showed that teachers act as knowledge transmitters, skills trainers, directors, and mentors, while parents educate through behavioral examples, early education systems, habits, and dialogue culture. Heredity and environmental factors also contribute significantly to child development. In conclusion, the integration of religious values, the role of effective teachers, and family support are essential to ensure the development of children's character as a whole, with attention to the significant influence of heredity and environment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the educational value of the main character Ava Alessandra in the novel Heartbreak Motel by Ika Natassa. The method that will be used in this study is the descriptive analysis method. The data in this study are in the form of quotes, clauses, and sentences that contain the educational values ​​of the main character Ava Alessandra in the novel. The data source is the novel Heartbreak Motel by Ika Natassa published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2020 with a total of 400 pages. Data collection techniques consist of reading the novel, rereading, and marking relevant parts of the novel. Data analysis techniques involve interpretation, interpretation, determining character forms, grouping data, and description. The results and discussion show the character education value of Ava Alessandra in the novel, with a total of 88 data found, which include: honest character as many as 45 data, peace-loving character as many as 4 data, fear character as many as 3 data, friendly character as many as 4 data, hard-working character as many as 4 data, caring character as many as 10 data, religious character as many as 6 data, angry character as many as 6 data, appreciating achievement character as many as 5 data, and curiosity character as many as 1 data. It is also known that the most frequently appearing data is honest character data which amounts to 45 data, while the least frequently appearing data in the Heartbreak Motel novel by Ika Natassa is curiosity character data which amounts to 1 data

Abstract

Teaching is more varied and not easy to make students feel bored by using learning media can increase the desired students' interest in learning. This research aims to increase interest in learning using Animaker learning media in Informatics subjects. This type of research is quantitative research using a pre-expression research design of one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study are 26 students in grade VII C SMP Negeri 1 Kramatmulya. In data collection, the author used multiple-choice posttest preetes and questionnaire questions. The data was analyzed using the data normality test, validity test and Reality test, and t-test. The results of the analysis that have been carried out show that there is a significant difference in the increase in students' interest in learning, and it is evidenced by the average pretest questionnaire score of 60.23 while the average score of the posttest is 63.61. So that the difference between the pretest and the posttest is 3.38. The data obtained shows that the students' response to the results of the application of animaker learning media is very good or there is an improvement compared to before using animaker media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of AR: GeoGebra 3D Calculator in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts in three-dimensional materials. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pseudo-experimental method. The sample consisted of 69 eleventh grade students from MAS Al-Washliyah 22, which was divided into an experimental group (35 students) using AR: GeoGebra 3D Calculator and a control group (34 students) using conventional methods. The data collection technique is carried out through a concept comprehension test, namely pretest and posttest. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively on the test results obtained using an independent t-test test for normalized gain. The results showed that the experimental group showed a significantly higher increase in average scores from pretest to postes compared to the control group. The results of the independent t-test of the postes scores showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups. The normalized gain analysis further confirmed that the experimental group achieved a higher improvement (0.61) than the control group (0.41), with a significant difference (t = 4.876, p <0.001). The results of this study show that the use of AR: GeoGebra 3D Calculator significantly improves students' understanding of concepts in three-dimensional materials compared to conventional methods

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of drill smash training on the smash skills of Medan Women's Development Club athletes in 2023, where there are five variations of training, where the five training variations given are designed to improve smash skills in volleyball athletes of the Medan Women's Development Club. This research was conducted at the Bina Putri Medan club which is located at Jl. Mangaan No.1, Mabar, Medan Deli, North Sumatra. The sample of this study is 10 people who were selected using random sampling techniques. This research method is an experiment, by conducting an initial test (pretest), then the sample is given treatment in the form of a drill smash variation training program. With the training program prepared, then after approximately 6 weeks of undergoing the training program, the sample did a final test (posttest). The initial and final tests were taken using the smash test instrument. The data analysis technique uses the t-test in the hypothesis testing process. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is an influence of drill smash training on the smash skills of Bina Putri Medan club athletes in 2023

Abstract

Analysis of Structure and Moral Values in the Script of the Drama Wanci by Ayi G. Sasmita. In this study, there are several problem formulations, namely how the structure and moral values appear in the script of the play Wanci by Ayi G. Sasmita. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure and moral values that appear in the script of the Wanci play. This drama script has noble values about life. This study applies a qualitative approach with a literature study method to analyze literary works. The main sources of data for this research are literary works and other sources that are reevan. Data analysis was carried out through qualitative data analysis, namely content analysis of literary works. The findings of this research are that the structure of the drama script "Wanci" refers to Waluyo's theory, which includes themes, story facts (plot, characters, and setting), and literary means (title, point of view, language style, symbolism, and irony). Meanwhile, the moral value in the drama script "Wanci" refers to theories that include the relationship between humans and themselves, the relationship between humans and other humans in the social sphere, and the relationship between humans and their God

Abstract

The problem found in the field is the low learning outcomes of students in informatics subjects caused by the application of informatics models that do not vary which makes the learning atmosphere seem boring, less attractive to students so that learning has not been achieved optimally. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the wordwall-based games-based learning model on student learning outcomes in Informatics subjects at SMP 4 Sutera. The type of research used by the researcher is a quasi experiment The sampling technique used is a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use tests. Data analyzed with the Mann Whitney test. The results of the study showed that after conducting data analysis tests and hypotheses using the wilcoxon and mann whitney tests, the Asymp value was obtained. Sign (2-tailed) < 0.05 then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. After using the games-based learning model, it was higher and experienced a significant increase compared to using the conventional learning model. Therefore, the games based learning model can be declared effective and able to improve student learning outcomes in Informatics class VII SMPN 4 Sutera

Abstract

Scientific literacy is a very important competency to pay attention to so that students can use science in their lives. The results of teacher interviews stated that scientific literacy learning at SMP Negeri 10 Payakumbuh was still not being implemented optimally. There needs to be a learning model that supports students' scientific literacy, one of which is the Reading to Learn (R2L) model. This research aims to determine the effect of the Reading to Learn learning model on the scientific literacy of students at SMP Negeri 10 Payakumbuh on Ecology and Biodiversity material. The type of research used in this research is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The research design used was Posttest Only Control Group Design. This research design involves two groups, namely the experimental group which will receive treatment applying the R2L model in learning and the control group which will receive conventional learning. The data obtained were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests.

Abstract

Learning media plays an important role in connecting theory with practice, turning abstract concepts into more concrete and interesting experiences, learning media arranges various educational elements into a whole that strengthens students' understanding in an interactive and fun way. The main goal of a puzzle is to solve a challenge by utilizing thinking skills, logic, and sometimes motor skills. This research was carried out to find out the use of puzzle media in teaching in elementary schools. The literature study method in this study, with the help of prisms as a guide for selecting relevant research results. The results of this research include the combination of puzzle media with learning models, combination with other learning media, use based on class, use based on meta lessons, influence on learning in schools. Based on the results of analysis from various relevant research results, the use of puzzle media is often used in elementary school learning and provides positive impacts such as increasing student interest in learning, improving reading skills, increasing student learning achievement, improving learning outcomes, increasing student learning motivation, increasing ability. students' reading and improving students' skills.
