Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Government Business Capital Assistance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in South Lolu Village, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. Using a qualitative approach, four informants were selected, and data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion. The research applies Tulus Tambunan’s framework, which assesses MSME capital assistance through four indicators: human resources, promotion, marketing, and business development. The findings indicate that the Government Business Capital Assistance program has generally been implemented well. However, in terms of human resources, the program has not been optimal due to limited competencies among MSME actors. In contrast, promotion efforts have been effective, supported by various government initiatives. The main inhibiting factors for MSME development include inadequate human resource skills, insufficient business capital, limited promotional activities, and challenges in securing bank loans. Conversely, supporting factors include government attention in the form of cash assistance, provision of production equipment, and marketing support through social media and exhibitions. Access to facilities such as mobile phones, online platforms (Zoom, YouTube, Google), and print media also significantly enhances the promotion of MSME products. Overall, while the program has contributed positively to MSME development, strengthening human resource capacity and expanding access to capital remain essential to maximize its impact.

Abstract

Patient safety is a key indicator of hospital service quality that must be prioritised by healthcare workers. Nurses, as the frontline providers of care, play an important role in ensuring the implementation of patient safety standards. One factor that influences the successful implementation of patient safety is ward supervisor supervision. This study aims to analyse the effect of ward supervisor supervision on the behaviour of nursing staff in implementing patient safety in the inpatient ward of Bayukarta Hospital, Karawang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive analytical cross-sectional design. A sample of 53 nurses was determined based on the established inclusion criteria. Data were collected using questionnaires and analysed using the chi-square test. The results showed a significant relationship between ward supervisor supervision and nurse behaviour in the implementation of patient safety (p=0.000; OR=27.00). These findings confirm that effective supervision can improve nurses' compliance and responsibility in implementing patient safety standards. Therefore, hospitals need to strengthen the role of ward supervisors through structured, continuous supervision accompanied by evaluation to foster a culture of patient safety and improve the quality of nursing services.

Abstract

Rapid digital development brings serious challenges related to personal data protection and social media ethics, especially among students who will enter the technology-based workforce. Responding to this need, the team from the YAPAN College of Economics carried out a community service program entitled "Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Digital Literacy Program on Data Privacy Awareness and Social Media Ethics" at SMK Perdana 1 Surabaya. The purpose of this activity is to improve the digital literacy of students, teachers and school staff through an understanding of personal data protection regulations and the practice of social media ethics. The implementation methods included coordination and needs assessment, delivery of educational materials based on Law No. 27 of 2022, interactive discussions, workshops on social media privacy settings, as well as pre-test and post-test. The evaluation results showed a 45.8% increase in participants' understanding of the classification of personal data, data subject rights, and the importance of responsible digital behavior. In addition, participants responded positively with an average satisfaction score of 4.2 on a scale of 5, along with an appreciation of the relevance of the material to the needs of vocational students as prospective workers. In conclusion, the program proved to be effective in increasing legal, ethical, and digital security awareness, while making a real contribution in equipping students to face the challenges of the working world in the digital era.
