Abstract

The digital transformation of education requires teachers to develop digital competence, maintain well-being, and receive organizational support in order to build sustainable performance resilience. This study aims to explore how junior high school teachers in Balikpapan City interpret digital competence, well-being, and organizational support in shaping their resilience and professional performance. This research used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Balikpapan and SMP Patra Dharma 1 Balikpapan. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed using phenomenological stages, including bracketing, horizontalization, identification of meaning units, clustering of themes, textural description, structural description, and synthesis of essence. The findings show that teachers interpret digital competence as a strategic professional capacity that supports evidence-based decision-making, learning innovation, communication, collaboration, content creation, and digital security. Teacher well-being, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions, strengthens focus, energy, emotional stability, creativity, and work consistency. Organizational support through appreciation, feedback, facilities, professional development, and social attention increases motivation, dedication, professionalism, and psychological resilience. The integration of digital competence, well-being, and organizational support forms adaptive performance resilience, enabling teachers to remain innovative, productive, and professionally consistent in facing curriculum pressure, technological change, and pedagogical demands.

Abstract

This study analyzes the legal validity and binding force of agreements in illegal online lending services and their implications for consumer protection in Indonesia. The rapid growth of fintech lending has increased the prevalence of illegal providers that operate outside the supervision of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This research employs a normative juridical method using statutory and conceptual approaches. The study examines the Indonesian Civil Code, consumer protection regulations, and relevant financial service regulations. The findings show that agreements in illegal online lending services do not fulfill the lawful cause requirement under Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code and may also involve defects of consent, rendering them legally defective or void. In addition, prohibited standard clauses weaken the binding force of such agreements against consumers. The study concludes that stronger regulatory enforcement and consumer protection mechanisms are necessary to ensure legal certainty in digital financial transactions.

Abstract

The principal’s academic supervision plays an important role in improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, particularly in Pancasila learning at the elementary school level. This study aims to describe the transformation of teachers’ pedagogical competence after the implementation of academic supervision by the principal. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach at SD Negeri 3 Parangharjo, SD Negeri 1 Pujiharjo, and SD Negeri Wonoharjo, Wonogiri Regency. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the most prominent development occurred in teachers’ ability to design more systematic learning and implement more active, participatory, and student-centered learning. Teachers also began to use discussion, question-and-answer activities, group work, and contextual learning methods to connect Pancasila values with students’ real-life experiences. In addition, academic supervision encouraged teachers to conduct learning evaluation and reflection in a more focused manner, although the aspects of attitude assessment and reflective follow-up still require further strengthening. This study concludes that academic supervision functions not merely as administrative monitoring, but as a humanistic, collaborative, and sustainable professional development process to improve the quality of Pancasila learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Import duties are state levies on imported goods in accordance with applicable laws. Imported goods are then subject to tariffs based on the classification of the goods. Import document inspection officials conduct inspections based on applicable regulations, namely Law Number 17 of 2006 concerning Customs and its derivative regulations, namely the Regulation of the Minister of Finance and the Regulation of the Director General of Customs and Excise. This paper will examine the effectiveness of the procedures and stages of import document inspection implemented by the Belawan Customs and Excise Service Office (KPPBC TMP) and the inhibiting factors in ensuring compliance with customs regulations. This paper uses a qualitative method approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed using the techniques of Miles & Huberman (1992: 16). The results of this paper indicate that the procedures and stages of import document inspection at the Belawan Customs and Excise Service Office (KPPBC TMP) have been quite effective through the implementation of an electronic-based service system and risk management. Inhibiting factors found include importers' low understanding of customs regulations, misclassification of goods, constraints on electronic systems, high volume of import activities, and additional inspections of goods considered high risk.

Abstract

This study examines the reproduction of political identity in the construction of Muslim public spaces in West Sumatra. Studies that integrate policy aspects, visual symbols in public spaces, and social practices in the reproduction of political identities based on Islam and Adat remain relatively limited. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations related to the visual symbols of Adat Basandi Syari’at, Syari’at Basandi Kitabullah (ABS-SBK), and analysis of a number of local regulations and policy documents. The research findings indicate that political identity in West Sumatra post-New Order is reproduced through regulations, regional development planning, and the creation of visual symbols and public discourse. Although this reproduction of identity has strengthened Minangkabau identity, it also has the potential to give rise to the politicization of identity and issues of inclusivity. Identities constructed through ABS-SBK practices and discourse tend to remain at the level of hegemonic jargon used for moral and political legitimization, while simultaneously being positioned as a “panacea” for responding to various forms of moral panic amid societal change. This study confirms that the reproduction of these identities tends to function symbolically and as slogans rather than substantively.

Abstract

This study analyzes Message Design Logic (MDL) in reconstructing the brand image of Kaeel Baju Bodo on Instagram. It aims to identify expressive, conventional, and rhetorical design logic in shaping a Bugis-Makassar cultural brand identity. A qualitative case study was conducted on the Instagram account @kaeel.bajubodo. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 30 informants and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model with NVivo support. Findings show expressive design logic dominates through aesthetic visuals and spontaneous communication that enhance audience attention and brand awareness. Conventional logic appears in service information and procedures, while rhetorical logic constructs cultural meaning through storytelling. However, integration among the three logics remains inconsistent. The novelty lies in applying MDL to examine cultural brand reconstruction on Instagram as digital cultural branding. The study concludes that brand image is shaped by visual, informational, and symbolic elements that are not yet fully integrated.

Abstract

Character education is essential in shaping students’ moral values and behavior. The Mutaba’ah Yaumiyyah book is used to monitor students’ religious and daily activities to support Islamic character development. This study employed a qualitative method through interviews, observations, and document analysis conducted at SMP Al-Irsyad Surakarta. The findings show that the Mutaba’ah Yaumiyyah book helps students develop positive habits such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, and religious commitment through activities including prayers, Quran recitation, charity, and reading Islamic books. It also supports students in using holiday time productively. The implementation of the Mutaba’ah Yaumiyyah book contributes significantly to building students’ Islamic character, although several obstacles remain in maintaining consistency and supervision. The program may inspire other schools to adopt similar character-building strategies.
