This type of research is a quantitative research that uses an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all medical record data of cervical cancer patients who were treated at the Haji Adam Malik General Hospital Medan as many as 86 Patient Medical Record Data and the sampling technique used the Total population technique, namely 86 medical record data. The results showed that of the 2 factor variables that affect the length of stay of cervical cancer patients after multiple linear regression tests were carried out, it was found that the disease stage variable had a p-value of 0.024 and the disease complication variable had a p-value of 0.043, The conclusion in this study is that , disease stage and disease complications have p-value <0.05, it can be seen that these two variables have an influence on the length of stay of cervical cancer patients at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital Medan.

Meanwhile, for empathy, there is a significant relationship between the empathy variable with satisfaction and interest in revisiting with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, this value indicates that there is a relationship between the empathy variable on satisfaction and interest in revisiting general outpatients at Sundari General Hospital. . Suggestions for hospitals to be able to conduct regular training related to communication management and education for all services.

Abstract

Midwives have many ways to monitor client well-being. A group of skills that involves measuring physical characteristics as observations, one of which is measuring blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate and measuring temperature. Can be used to monitor the response of the mother's body to pregnancy, labor, and delivery. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in knowledge of second semester students about vital signs before and after being given learning media through audio-visual media. The design used in this study was a quasi-experimental study with a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design that conducted a pretest before treatment was given and posttest afterward, to determine whether there was a difference between the experimental group and the control group. This study used the total population method, where the entire population was sampled as many as 117 respondents. The data used in this study are primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data. The results of this study, the knowledge of students in the intervention group with the Chochran test analysis. Based on the test statistics, the results of the Chochran test showed a significance value of 0.000 from the results of the study (test statistics), the results of the McNemar test obtained a difference in the level of knowledge between the two measurements. Knowledge of students in the control group. Based on test statistics, the results of the Chochran test with a significance value of 0.607 from the results of the study (test statistics), the results of the McNemar test showed no difference in the level of knowledge between the two measurements. Suggestions are expected that audio visual media learning media can increase students' knowledge about vital signs and can be an effective learning media.

Abstract

The contraceptive program that is promoted and effective is the long-term contraceptive method (MKJP) with implants being one of the leading methods. The percentage of the number of family planning participants who reported no significant change was from 60% in 2006 to 61% in 2014 (BKKBN, 2013). The results of a preliminary survey conducted at the Silinda Health Center obtained information that the total number of family planning acceptors who became implant contraceptive acceptors was still very small, around 15% of the total family planning acceptors who used other contraceptive methods due to fear and lack of knowledge about the benefits of implants. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age, education, knowledge of mothers about implant contraceptives and the use of implant contraceptives at the Silinda Health Center in 2021. The type of research was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population is pregnant women of all women of childbearing age totaling 95 people with a total sample of 49 people with accidental sampling technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis used chi square test at a significance level of 95%. The results showed that the relationship between maternal age and the use of contraceptive implants using the formula x2 (chi square) with p value = 0.133 (p > 0.05), which means that there is no relationship between maternal age and the use of implant contraceptives, the relationship between maternal education and contraceptive use. implant using the formula x2 (chi square) with p value = 0.154 (p > 0.05) which means that there is no relationship between maternal education and the use of implant contraceptives, and the relationship between mother's knowledge and the use of implant contraceptives using the x2 (chi square) formula with p value = 0.001 (p > 0.05) which means that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge and the use of implant contraceptives. It was concluded that only the knowledge variable had a relationship with the use of implant contraceptives. It is expected that health workers at the Silinda Health Center will provide more information about implant contraceptives to women of childbearing age.

Data processing used univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test, the p-value for Knowledge = 0.005. There is a relationship between Mother's Knowledge about the Importance of Delivery Planning and Complication Prevention Before and After Taking Pregnant Women Class. It is hoped that the midwives in Hutaraja Village when Antenatal Care (ANC) explain in detail what is related to the contents of P4K so that pregnant women can know P4K clearly. It is hoped that further research can add to the discourse and literature to conduct further research on the application of pregnant women in the implementation of P4K.

Abstract

Normal delivery is the process of expelling the products of conception that have been enough months, born spontaneously with a back of the head presentation that takes place within 18 hours, without complications to both the mother and the fetus. Pregnant women are really looking forward to the arrival of the time of delivery, because they crave the presence of the baby who has been waiting for 40 weeks. The formulation of the problem in this study is "Is there a relationship between maternal knowledge about straining techniques and perineal rupture in normal delivery at the Yani Delitua Midwife Clinic in 2022. The research design in this study was an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. In this study, the relationship between the independent variable (mother's knowledge) and the dependent variable (perineal rupture) at the Midwife Yani Delitua Clinic in 2022 was studied. The sample in this study from March to May 2022 was 37 people. Sampling used a non-probability sampling approach and the sampling technique in this study was accidental sampling. There is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge of pushing techniques and perineal rupture at the Yani Delitua Midwife Clinic in 2022 with p = 0.043 <0.05. Suggestions to respondents to seek more information to increase their knowledge, especially about pushing techniques to avoid perineal rupture on the internet, health workers, and so on.
