Abstract

In PAI learning, using films as a learning medium can make learning easier and more enjoyable for students. Currently, students are starting to get bored with the same approach. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of PAI learning using film-based audio-visual at SDN Tambaksari II Karawang. Knowing the influence of student learning motivation on the use of film-based audio visuals in PAI learning at SDN Tambaksari II Karawang. To determine the effect of using film-based audio visuals on student learning motivation in PAI subjects at SDN Tambaksari II Karawang. This research method uses a one group pretest posttest experimental design. Based on the results of the linearity test using the ANOVA table, it was found that there was a loose relationship between the pretest and posttest scores. This is shown by the significance value, namely in the Linearity section there is a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.048. And in the Deviation from Linearity section there is a significance value greater than 0.05, namely 0.222. This means that there is a linear relationship between the influence of film-based audio visuals and student learning motivation.  This improvement not only includes cognitive aspects but also affective aspects of students. This shows that films are a powerful tool to increase learning motivation and foster student love

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the role of Islamic education in shaping the spiritual intelligence of children with disabilities at SLB IT Sahabat Al-Qur'an Binjai. Qualitative methods with a case study approach have been used in this study. Data have been collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Various religious activities such as congregational prayer, memorizing prayers, learning the stories of the prophets, and practicing morals in everyday life have been consistently implemented and have been proven to contribute to strengthening the spiritual aspects of children. Learning to memorize the Qur'an has also been used as a means of developing self-confidence and emotional stability of children with disabilities. Support from teachers, parents, and the social environment has been identified as a major factor in the success of this process. Thus, an inclusive and adaptive Islamic education approach is highly recommended to be further developed in order to shape the spiritual quotient of children with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of Ice Breaking in increasing student learning motivation. The method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using simple linear regression and product moment correlation tests. The results showed that there was an increase in learning motivation after the implementation of ice breaking. The average pretest score of 40.23 increased to 40.35 in the posttest. The correlation test showed a value of r = 0.7 > r table 0.388, which means there is a significant relationship between ice breaking and learning motivation. The regression equation obtained is Y = 17 + 0.65X with a coefficient of determination of 49%, meaning that Ice Breaking contributed 49% to increasing learning motivation. These findings indicate that the use of Ice Breaking is an effective strategy in supporting active and enjoyable learning in elementary classes, especially in science learning.

Abstract

Integrasi antara matematika dengan budaya lokal memberikan perspektif baru dalam pengajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan dekat dengan pengalaman kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Bolo melalui pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek siswa kelas VII. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada materi kesebangunan dan wawancara semi-terstruktur, lalu dianalisis berdasarkan empat indikator berpikir kreatif menurut Munandar: kelancaran (fluency), keluwesan (flexibility), keaslian (originality), dan elaborasi (elaboration). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika memunculkan variasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Subjek dengan kesiapan kognitif lebih baik menunjukkan kelancaran dan keluwesan berpikir yang kuat serta potensi keaslian solusi. Namun, hampir seluruh subjek masih lemah dalam aspek elaborasi, khususnya dalam mengembangkan penjelasan secara rinci.

Abstract

Twenty first century education requires students to possess key competencies known as the 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity). The Merdeka Curriculum at the elementary schools level encourages the implementation of innovative learning models that can foster these four skills. One effective approach is Game-Based Learning (GBL), a game-based instructional method that emphasizes interaction, challenge, and collaboration. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review method using articles and scientific journals published between 2020–2025. Data sources were collected from accredited national journals and reputable international journals discussing GBL and the development of 4C skills in elementary education. The findings indicate that GBL contributes significantly to the improvement of all four 4C skills. Game elements such as challenges, rules, instant feedback, and social interaction have been proven to enhance students’ critical thinking abilities, increase creativity in problem solving, strengthen communication among students, and build teamwork. In addition, GBL also boosts students’ motivation and active participation during the learning process. These findings suggest that GBL is a relevant and effective approach to be applied within the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in developing essential 21st-century skills at the elementary schools level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a teaching module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' problem-solving skills in IPAS subjects in grade V of SD.it Ar-Ridha. This study used the Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE development model, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 25 fifth-grade students and their homeroom teachers. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and effectiveness tests (pre-test and post-test). Based on the research results, the developed module received an average score of 82.9% from the validators, so the module was categorized as highly valid. The product's practicality test was conducted by teachers and students with an average result of 98.3% and was categorized as very practical. Based on the effectiveness test results using the N-gain score test with a result of 0.8, it was categorized as high. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the IPAS teaching module based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) that was developed is valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Penataan desain eksterior sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan edukatif bagi anak usia dini karena ruang luar sekolah tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat bermain, tetapi juga sebagai media belajar yang mendukung perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penataan desain eksterior TK Baitul Hijrah Binjai dalam menciptakan lingkungan edukatif. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan kondisi eksisting desain eksterior sekolah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan dokumentasi kondisi lapangan pada area bermain luar ruang, penataan alat permainan, elemen peneduh, vegetasi, dan jalur sirkulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain eksterior TK Baitul Hijrah Binjai telah menyediakan ruang luar yang mendukung aktivitas bermain anak, namun penataan alat permainan belum terzonasi dengan jelas, kondisi permukaan bermain masih kurang rata, serta pemanfaatan vegetasi dan elemen lingkungan belum terintegrasi dengan kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain eksterior TK Baitul Hijrah Binjai memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai lingkungan edukatif melalui penataan desain yang lebih terstruktur, aman, dan ramah anak agar dapat mendukung perkembangan anak usia dini secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of families in encouraging reading interest among school-age children at SDN Sosak Elementary School in Praya Timur District, Central Lombok. The background of this study is based on the low reading interest among children in elementary school environments, which requires active support from families as the first and primary educational environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of parents, teachers, and students. The results of the study show that families play an important role in building children's interest in reading through various forms of action, including the habit of reading at home, parental role modeling, providing motivation, providing reading materials, and accompanying children while reading. Factors that influence interest in include family support, socioeconomic conditions, availability of reading materials, and the role of the school. Despite limited facilities, families demonstrate a strong commitment to building a culture of literacy through simple but consistent means.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for interactive media "CASINO" based on Think Pair Share in Indonesian language learning at SD IT Al-Akhyar, especially on synonym material. Data were collected through interviews with fifth grade teachers and questionnaires filled out by 24 students. The results of the study indicate that there is no learning media used, teachers only use conventional teaching materials in the form of worksheets and textbooks so that learning is less interesting. As well as the lack of student understanding in Indonesian language learning, especially on synonym material. Strengthened by the questionnaire data where 41.7% of students do not like Indonesian language learning, because the method is monotonous and too much narrative text. From the material aspect, 87.5% of students understand the concept of antonyms, but only 58.3% understand the concept of synonyms. Teachers stated that they had never used interactive media (such as Interactive PPT) and considered that the TPS model and visual media were very necessary to create more collaborative, effective, and efficient learning in time management. In conclusion, the development of the interactive "CASINO" media based on Think Pair Share is highly relevant and necessary to increase students' interest and understanding of vocabulary concepts at the elementary school level. Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of thematic learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Abdurrahman Bin 'Auf Islamic Elementary School. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of thematic learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Abdurrahman Bin 'Auf Islamic Elementary School, which includes lesson planning, lesson implementation, and lesson evaluation. The results of this study indicate that during the planning stage, teachers prepare Lesson Implementation Plans (RPP) that refer to the applicable curriculum. The lesson implementation stage consists of preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The evaluation stage utilizes three main aspects: cognitive, measured through written tests, oral tests, and thematic assignments tailored to PAI material, such as faith, morals, jurisprudence, as well as the Qur'an and Hadith. Affective is measured through religious and social attitudes, including discipline, responsibility, cooperation, honesty, and social awareness. Psychomotor skills are measured through worship practices, work performance, ablution practices, prayer, reading the Qur'an, and memorizing short surahs.
