Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide protection to children who become child labourers. Child protection is all activities to ensure and protect children and their rights so that they can live, grow and develop. In fact, many children are found in various countries as workers or laborers. Therefore the United Nations (UNICEF) and ILO (International Labor Organization) organizations on child labor issued policies on child labour. The ILO has issued legal instruments in the form of conventions which are then ratified in every country to become regulations. The ILO convention aims to completely eliminate all forms of child labour, although this is very difficult to do given the current conditions. Islamic law does not explicitly explain the employment of minors, but Islam provides special protection for children so that they do not lose their rights. Based on the background above, the problem arises how international law efforts to protect child labor and what is the view of Islamic law on child labour. The research method used is normative juridical, namely conducting library research by examining library materials or secondary data as a basis for research by conducting a search of regulations or conventions and literature related to the problem under study.

Based on the structural model analysis, was obtained of the hypothesis test where Islamic branding has a positive and significant influence on attitudes, intrinsic halal awareness has a positive and significant effect on Islamic branding and intrinsic halal awareness has a positive and significant effect on attitudes. Abstract

Islamic economics is a science that seeks to view, review, examine, and solve economic problems in an Islamic way in terms of social, political, economic, and environmental aspects. Islamic economics will always rely on all financial analysis based on the Qur'an, and the Hadith of the Prophet SAW. Islamic economics has three principles, namely tawhid, morality, and balance, that describe welfare. Sustainable development is a planned effort that integrates various environmental, social, and economic aspects into development strategies to ensure society's and the state's well-being. In achieving the goal of sustainable development, the role of Islamic economics is the organization of religious and social institutions, such as zakat institutions and waqf institutions, that can contribute to increased efforts in projects and programs that are not commercially viable but socially important. Islamic finance has much potential to promote sustainable economic development by expanding access to finance (including microfinance), financing infrastructure projects, and expanding the reach of Takaful (Islamic insurance).

Abstract

The process of acquiring loans from traditional financial institutions is arduous for SMEs during economic pressure due to time-consuming procedures accompanied by stringent application criteria. Consequently, SMEs would have a low survival rate while awaiting loan approval from traditional financial institutions. To understand the intention to use Islamic P2P microfinance, this study extended the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with Perceived Risks and Perceived Benefits. The current study used a quantitative research design and non-probability snowball sampling to collect data from 248 micro-entrepreneurs across Malaysia. SPSS Version 28.0 software was used to analyse the collected data. The findings indicated that this study partially supports the TAM in predicting the intention to use Islamic P2P microfinancing in Malaysia. In the case of Islamic P2P financing, perceived benefits are also found to be an important predictor. In this paper, the authors open a new avenue for Islamic contributions to the literature on entrepreneurship development. The proposed model will benefit the government as the primary policymaker, entrepreneurs, Islamic scholars and academicians.
