Abstract

The success of public sector organizations in adapting to environmental, technological, and policy shifts depends on leadership effectiveness and adaptive managerial strategies. This study explores the role of transformational leadership in managing organizational change at the Madiun Region Forestry Service Branch through the lenses of Resource-Based View (RBV) and Dynamic Capabilities. The study identifies key strategic resources and analyzes the organization’s capacities in sensing, seizing, and transforming. Findings reveal that transformational leaders foster a collaborative and adaptive work culture, accelerate digital transformation, and enhance synergy between government and forestry communities. The integration of Islamic leadership values amanah (trust and responsibility), shura (deliberation), and ihsan (excellence) adds ethical depth and strengthens value-based leadership practices. This research contributes by providing a conceptual model linking transformational leadership, RBV, and dynamic capabilities to promote sustainable, ethical, and innovationoriented transformation in public sector organizations.

Abstract

Introduction: Workers' welfare is closely related to the wage system implemented by the company. Batik Langit Makmur, located in Genilangit Village, Poncol District, Magetan Regency, is a batik company that implements an equalization system in wage payments for all employees. Although the duties and responsibilities are different, each employee receives the same wage. Research Methods: This research uses a qualitative approach and a type of field research. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. Results: The implementation of the payment of wages for Batik Langit Makmur Genilangit Magetan employees has reflected the principle of justice in the perspective of Islamic economics. The wage system implemented uses a fixed daily wage, with a transparent payment process and based on an initial agreement between employees and the company, as well as attention to the welfare of workers through bonuses, opportunities for worship and considering weather factors in batik production. The reason for the implementation of equalization in the payment of wages between Batik Langit Makmur employees aims to create a fair and equitable work environment and avoid gaps that can cause dissatisfaction among employees. Conclusion: The impact of equalization in wage payments on the welfare of Batik Langit Makmur workers has a positive impact on employees who previously did not have a fixed income. However, in the aspect of education and health, the wages received are still considered insufficient to meet the needs optimally.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Al Islam Sidoarjo Foundation in local economic empowerment through linking religious education and MSME strengthening. MSMEs contribute 61.07% to Indonesia's GDP and employ 97% of the workforce, yet the systemic connection between religious institutions and local MSMEs remains underexplored. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations and review of foundation documents. Results reveal the foundation's strategic role across three dimensions: social, spiritual, and economic empowerment through routine educational activities, inclusive MSME policies, and religious social activities generating economic multiplier effects. These activities increase MSME income both during daily routine activities and significantly during major religious events. The Al Islam Foundation functions beyond Islamic education, acting as a community economic empowerment agent fostering sustainable welfare through spiritual-economic value synergy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digitalization as a moderator variable in the relationship between economic limitations and the Islamic Human Development Index (IHDI) in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries. The main problem raised is the low achievement of IHDI and the non-optimal use of digitalization in supporting human development. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data from 2010 to 2023, with a sample consisting of 10 OIC countries that have complete and representative data. The analysis model used is moderated regression analysis (MRA) with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The results show that economic limitations have a positive and significant effect on IHDI. While digitalization does not have a direct effect, it is able to strengthen the effect of the economy on IHDI as a moderating variable. Thus, digitalization can be an alternative pillar in Islam-based human development, especially in the midst of fiscal constraints and social inequality. Therefore, OIC countries need to integrate economic development strategies with digital transformation that is inclusive and based on maqāṣid al-sharī'ah to create sustainable social justice.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key factor in improving the efficiency and quality of Islamic banking services, while supporting green banking practices that are oriented towards environmental sustainability. This research aims to analyze the role of digitalization in Islamic banking services in supporting the implementation of green banking. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with literature study and secondary data analysis from various reliable sources. The results of the study show that digitalization in Islamic banking, such as the use of mobile banking, paperless transactions, and the implementation of artificial intelligence in risk analysis, contributes significantly to reducing natural resource consumption and increasing operational efficiency. In addition, sharia-based financial technology innovations also encourage transparency and public trust in environmentally friendly banking products. The study concludes that digital transformation not only increases the competitiveness of Islamic banking in the industrial era 4.0, but also strengthens the commitment to the principles of sustainability and Islamic business ethics.
