Abstract

Profile and visualization of the keywords Media Librarian and Library Vision for the 2017-2022 period were carried out using the Bibliometric method. The research objectives were to determine: 1. The number of articles published in both journals during 2017-2022; 2. Authors who contributed to the two journals, and 3. Keyword profiles and visualization using Vosviewer. Data were taken from both journal sites, namely https://ejournal.perpusnas.go.id. The data collected is the number of articles, authors and keywords used in both journals. The results and conclusions of the research are that Media Librarian has 135 articles from 18 publications, more than the Visi Pustaka journal, which has 135 article titles from 15 publications. Authors who contributed to Librarian Media and Library Vision were 204 authors and 158 authors, respectively. Vision Pustaka published regularly and regularly compared to Media Librarians. The publication with the most authors in the Media Librarian journal is in vol. 26 no. 4, 2019, with as many as 16 authors, while in the Librarian Vision journal, it is in vol. 23 no. 2, 2021, with as many as 15 authors. The highest number of writers is common, with Media Librarians with 15 writers. The number of occurrences of different keywords in Vision Reader is 292 out of the existing keywords 395. In contrast, the keywords in Media Librarian are more numerous than the keywords in Vision Library, with different keywords of 370 of the number of keyword occurrences. There were 607 of them. The resulting phrases or keywords that were often used in Vision Library appeared 148 times out of 37 different keywords generated, including Library/Library appearing 21 times (0.14%), Bibliometrics appearing 19 times (0 .13%), and Librarian/Librarian appeared 14 times (0.09%). Phrases or keywords that are often used in Librarian Media appear 222 times out of 31 different keywords, including Librarian/Librarian appearing 41 times (0.18%), Bibliometrics appearing 23 times (0.10%), and Library/Library appearing 19 times (0.09%). The two journals, both Media and Librarian Visi Pustaka, have the same phrases or keywords used. Visualization of the emergence of the title and abstract keywords in both journals produces the same topic by dominating the topics discussing libraries, Indonesia, librarians, users and information and connecting them with keywords in other clusters. The least discussed keywords relate to user anxiety, pandemic, information needs, users and analysis of digitalization, innovation, digital era, library collection and digital library. It is suggested that keywords that occur a little can be used as a topic for further research as a novelty in writing in the field of libraries.

Abstract

Reference service is one of the service facilities provided by the Indonesian Technocrat University library in improving the performance of the library as a center for actual and relevant reference information sources in supporting science and disciplines at the Indonesian Technocrat University. The purpose of this study is to convey an action taken by the technocrat library in carrying out a transformation in one of the reference service areas so as to achieve a maximum performance in providing information guidance to the academic community. Qualitative descriptive methodology is the method that researchers use in this study. Here the researcher analyzes and writes descriptively according to the results of observations, interviews and location analysis that the researchers did at the Indonesian Technocrat University. The result of this research is that the technocrat library has made improvements in creating a total library service performance, especially in reference services. The improvements made are focused on the transformation of information technology and activities in increasing interest in visiting and reading interest in Indonesian technocrat libraries, in accordance with the provisions stipulated by Law No. 43 of 2007 and Government Regulation No. 24 of 2014 concerning Libraries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja penyedia layanan referensi dan informasi pada live chat perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Malang berdasarkan Guidelines for Behavioral Performance of Reference and Information Service Providers. Terdapat lima indikator utama dalam menganalisis yaitu, Visibility, Interest, Listening/Inquiring, Searching, Follow-up. Indikator tersebut berdasarkan Guidelines for Behavioral Performance of Reference and Information Service Providers yang ditetapkan oleh Reference and User Services Association (RUSA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis unit tematik pesan berdasarkan adaptasi pedoman kinerja layanan referensi dan informasi. Data pada penelitian ini sebanyak 8.455 log live chat Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Malang yang merupakan populasi dari riwayat live chat menggunakan platform Tawk.to dengan kriteria tanggal sesi percakapan dari bulan November 2018 – Februari 2022. Sesi percakapan pada jam kerja yaitu hari Senin-Jumat pukul 08.00-16.00 WIB sebanyak 4.234 percakapan dan sesi percakapan diluar jam kerja sebanyak 4.221. Hasil analisis menunjukan pustakawan memberikan layanan sesuai dengan pedoman pada indikator tertentu yaitu Visibility sebesar 56.05%, Interest 52.5% dan Listening/Inquiring 52.6%. Pada indikator Searching sebesar 15.85% dan Follow-up sebesar 8.1% menunjukan presentase bahwa indikator tersebut jarang dilakukan. (1) Indikator yang terpenuhi Visibility sebanyak 44 sesi. (2) Indikator yang terpenuhi Visibility, Interest, Listening/inquiring sebanyak 783 sesi. (3) Indikator yang terpenuhi Visibility, Interest, Listening/inquiring, Searching sebanyak 26 sesi. (4) Indikator yang terpenuhi Visibility, Interest, Listening/inquiring, Searching, Follow-up sebanyak 52 sesi.

Abstract

Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah tentang maraknya penggunaan media sosial sebagai sumber informasi oleh para penggunanya. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai pengaruh dari penggunaan media sosial itu sendiri terhadap perilaku pencarian informasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa-siswi SMAN 2 Cimahi. Selanjutnya, dalam tulisan ini akan dibahas mengenai apa itu media sosial, kebutuhan informasi, perilaku pencarian informasi, faktor yang mendorong tindakan pencarian informasi melalui media sosial, hal-hal yang mempengaruhi perilaku pencarian informasi, serta perilaku pencarian informasi Siswa SMAN 2 Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan survey kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwasannya terdapat beberapa faktor yang mendorong penggunaan media sosial sebagai sumber informasi. Selain itu, faktor psikologis dan karakteristik sumber informasi menjadi 2 faktor yang dianggap paling mempengaruhi perilaku pencarian informasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa. Dipaparkan juga hasil analisis mengenai perilaku pencarian informasi yang dilakukan oleh Siswa SMAN 2 Cimahi yang mencakup tipe perhatian pasif, pencarian pasif, pencarian aktif, dan pencarian berlanjut.

Abstract

Tiktok merupakan salah satu media sosial yang paling populer dengan fitur yang disediakan berupa video dan foto yang menarik. Tiktok selain digunakan sebagai sarana hiburan juga dapat berfungsi sebagai media pendidikan literasi digital yang menjadi sumber informasi masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji peran akun Tiktok @jadipenulismuda sebagai sumber informasi Mahasiswa Ilmu Perpustakaan UINSU berbasis Digital Literacy. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi terhadap isi akun @jadipenulismuda, serta wawancara pemilik akun @jadipenulismuda dengan dua mahasiswa Ilmu Perpustakaan UINSU dan dokumentasi dengan instrumen penelitian berupa handphone. Analisis data dilakukan dengan meringkas seluruh data hasil wawancara, kemudian data tersebut dipilah dan disajikan dalam bentuk narasi dan tabel dan pada tahap akhir dilakukan pengecekan silang antar informan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa akun Tiktok @jadipenulismuda juga berperan sebagai sumber informasi publik, khususnya oleh mahasiswa Ilmu Perpustakaan UINSU. Hal ini terlihat dari para siswa yang telah mem-follow akun @jadipenulismuda merasakan dampak peningkatan kemampuan menulis dan rasa ingin tahu mereka terhadap buku dan informasi lainnya. Upaya yang dilakukan akun @jadipenulismuda dalam menyajikan informasi adalah teori information repackaging dimana informasi yang sudah ada dikemas kembali menjadi bentuk baru yang semakin menarik perhatian publik.

Abstract

Sepatu Jolifa (Jogja Library Integrated Library System Service for All), is a network system that contains information and library collections that can be accessed online by the public, where this system will contain various information and collections from various libraries in Yogyakarta, so that a system that integrates libraries in Yogyakarta, the management system of this system is very interesting to study how all libraries can be connected to one another. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Information in writing was obtained using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The purpose of this study is to describe how the management of Sepatu Jolifa, which is a library tarpaulin service system, can work with a tub. The results of this study show that the management process for Sepatu Jolifa begins with the Planning and Decision Making process, then Organization, Staffing, Direction and Supervision, and Controlling Co-Ordination. In addition, in the process of managing Sepatu Jolifa, they also continue to maintain Communication, Motivation, Leadership Social Responsibilities of Business Strategic Management so that the management of Jolifa Shoes can continue to run well.

Abstract

Modernization and globalization in the Era 5.0. Only at home, in villages, and in Lampung's minority communities is the Lampung language used for intercommunal communication. English or Indonesian are the two languages most commonly spoken. This survey attempts to give a general picture of how the Lampung population feels about and anticipates the Lampung Language Translation of the Qur'an. The Qur'an's Lampung Language Translation was the subject of a qualitative study to learn how the Lampung people felt about it and what they expected, as well as how to preserve the Lampung language's wisdom and prevent its extinction. The discussion's findings demonstrate that the Lampung translation of the Koran is: 1) Can be found at bookstores, research centers, and libraries; 2) Increase understanding and experience of the contents of the Qur'an; 3) The role of Religious Institutions and Leaders in increasing local language wisdom 4) Recommendations in the form of WEB (Online) applications.

Abstract

Automated school libraries have become a necessity. Library automation systems have been designed and built by information technology experts, especially in the field of librarianship. SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) is one of the well-known library automation applications and is widely used in various types of libraries. Ismail Marzuki MAN 3 Pekanbaru Library has developed a library management system into an automated library system using the SLiMS application. How is the implementation of the system, at the Ismail Marzuki MAN 3 Library Pekanbaru, the researchers conducted a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Based on the results and discussion of the research, it is known that the implementation of the SLiMS library automation application at the Ismail Marzuki MAN 3 Pekanbaru Library, goes through the following stages: Provision of hardware and software; Provision of managing resources; Selection of the appropriate system; System installation; and Operational systems for implementation of technical and user services, and are heavily influenced by budgetary support, management resources and availability of hardware and software. Perpustakaan sekolah terotomasi sudah menjadi kebutuhan. Sistem otomasi perpustakaan telah banyak dirancang dan dibangun oleh para pakar teknologi informasi, terutama di bidang kepustakawanan. SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) merupakan salah satu aplikasi otomasi perpustakaan terkenal dan banyak dimanfaatkan di perpustakaan dalam berbagai jenis. Perpustakaan Ismail Marzuki MAN 3 Pekanbaru telah melakukan pengembangan sistem pengelolaan perpustakaan menjadi sistem perpustakaan terotomasi menggunakan aplikasi SLiMS. Bagaimana implementasi sistem tersebut, di Perpustakaan Ismail Marzuki MAN 3 Pekanbaru, maka peneliti melakukan kajian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasar hasil dan pembahasan penelitian, diketahui bahwa implementasi aplikasi otomasi perpustakaan SLiMS di Perpustakaan Ismail Marzuki MAN 3 Pekanbaru, melalui tahapan-tahapan: Penyediaan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak; Penyediaan sumberdaya pengelola; Pemilihan sistem yang sesuai; Instalasi sistem; dan Operasional sistem untuk penerapan pada layanan teknis dan pemustaka, serta sangat dipengaruhi oleh dukungan anggaran, sumberdaya pengelola dan ketersediaan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Abstract

Institutional repository as a media that specifically manages local content information in digital form belonging to institutions that can provide benefits for the Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak library. The purpose of this study is to describe access and information protection strategies for digital collections and to describe providing user access to information on the library repository service at the Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak. The research method used in this research is a case study with a descriptive analysis of a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Pontianak Muhammadiyah University Library has not implemented an open information access policy for users of the institution's repository collection. All collections in the form of final projects in the repository are only limited to the beginning and the final chapter which can be accessed and downloaded in full text. As for the digital collection security strategy; First, not all of the digital collections stored in the repository can be downloaded in full text and can only be read (read only), secondly, to secure the digital collection on the IR itself, it is locked using several applications, thirdly, to work with IT so that the server is available. always stable and able to control and secure digital collections.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Instagram is a social media platform that can be used as a medium for promotion. The same is true for the Reading Library in Tebet which uses Instagram as a medium for promoting its library. This study aims to determine the pull strategy, push strategy, and pass strategy used by the Marketing Public Relations of the Reading Library in Tebet in promoting on Instagram, as well as the reasons for using Instagram as a promotional tool. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study found that the Reading Library in Tebet can easily promote its services because its librarians already have qualities that exceed the capacity of ordinary librarians, so that just by promoting through word of mouth, the Reading Library in Tebet can be easily and quickly recognized by the public, even before the library is opened to the public. It was also found that the Reading Library in Tebet also promotes via its Instagram by collaborating with communities, creating daily content, collaborating with influencers, reuploading content from its followers, promoting book collections, and holding discounts for becoming monthly members. Keywords:  Promotion Strategy, Instagram, Marketing Public Relation, Baca di Tebet Library.   ABSTRAK Instagram merupakan platform di media sosial yang dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk melakukan promosi. Sama halnya dengan Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet yang menggunakan Instagram sebagai media promosi perpustakaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pull strategy, push strategy, dan pass strategy yang digunakan Marketing Public Relations Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet dalam melakukan promosi di instagram, serta alasan menjadikan Instagram sebagai alat promosinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet dapat dengan mudah melakukan promosinya diakrenakan pustakawannya yang sudah memiliki kualitas diri melebih kapasitas pustakwan biasanya, sehingga hanya dengan melakukan promosi melalui mulut ke mulut Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet dapat dengan mudah dan cepat dikenal oleh masyarakat, bahkan sebelum perpustakaannya dibuka untuk umum. Didapati pula bahwa Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet juga melakukan promosi melalui Instagramnya dengan melakukan kerjasama bersama komunitas, membuat daily content, melakukan kolaborasi dengan influencer, melakukan reupload konten dari pengikutnya, melakukan promosi koleksi buku, dan mengadakan diskon untuk menjadi anggota bulanan.
