Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi Instagram dapat menciptakan: a) simulasi realitas perpustakaan yang dapat meningkatkan akses informasi di perpustakaan, b) hiperrealitas perpustakaan yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan pengguna dengan informasi, c) simulacra perpustakaan yang dapat membentuk persepsi pengguna perpustakaan terhadap perpustakaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik, dan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Instagram dapat menciptakan: a) simulasi realitas perpustakaan dapat meningkatkan akses informasi di perpustakaan melalui promosi koleksi perpustakaan, informasi tentang kegiatan perpustakaan, dan komunikasi dengan pengguna perpustakaan, b) Hiperrealitas perpustakaan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan pengguna dengan informasi melalui ketertarikan pengguna untuk mengakses informasi, aktivitas pengguna dalam berinteraksi dengan informasi, dan keterlibatan pengguna dengan komunitas perpustakaan, c) Simulacra perpustakaan dapat membentuk persepsi pengguna perpustakaan terhadap perpustakaan, baik secara positif maupun negatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Instagram dapat menjadi salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan manajemen informasi di perpustakaan. Namun, implementasi Instagram harus dilakukan dengan perencanaan yang matang dan strategi yang tepat. Pengelola perpustakaan harus memahami konsep hiperrealitas Jean Baudrillard dan menerapkannya pada Instagram perpustakaan.

Abstract

State Islamic University libraries are striving to become research libraries. Since humanities are the core discipline in most State Islamic Universities, a new service concept—digital humanities—has been introduced to support research activities. This study explores the implementation of digital humanities in three State Islamic University libraries: UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This research employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that while the libraries have sufficient librarians, their involvement in research activities is not extensive or proactive. Additionally, the facilities and infrastructure necessary to support digital humanities are inadequate. Although policies supporting digital humanities exist, there is a lack of strategic programs to explore and fully enhance library use and involvement in research. Furthermore, internal cooperation between institutions has been established but remains limited, indicating a need for libraries to adopt a more proactive role. These insights underscore the challenges and opportunities in implementing digital humanities within State Islamic University libraries, providing a foundation for future strategic initiatives to enhance their research support capabilities.

Abstract

Sepatu Jolifa (Jogja Library Integrated Library System Service for All), is a network system that contains information and library collections that can be accessed online by the public, where this system will contain various information and collections from various libraries in Yogyakarta, so that a system that integrates libraries in Yogyakarta, the management system of this system is very interesting to study how all libraries can be connected to one another. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Information in writing was obtained using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The purpose of this study is to describe how the management of Sepatu Jolifa, which is a library tarpaulin service system, can work with a tub. The results of this study show that the management process for Sepatu Jolifa begins with the Planning and Decision Making process, then Organization, Staffing, Direction and Supervision, and Controlling Co-Ordination. In addition, in the process of managing Sepatu Jolifa, they also continue to maintain Communication, Motivation, Leadership Social Responsibilities of Business Strategic Management so that the management of Jolifa Shoes can continue to run well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepuasan pengguna terhadap kinerja pustakawan di Perpustakaan IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada populasi studi yang terdiri dari pengguna Perpustakaan IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 70 pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kepuasan pengguna mencapai 4,34, yang mengindikasikan tingkat kepuasan yang sangat tinggi terhadap kinerja pustakawan. Nilai ini mencerminkan persepsi pengguna tentang kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh pustakawan, termasuk responsivitas layanan, koleksi yang memadai, dan kemudahan akses. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengguna merasa sangat puas dengan layanan yang diberikan oleh pustakawan di Perpustakaan IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta, yang tercermin dalam skor kepuasan yang mendekati nilai maksimum. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah bahwa pustakawan telah berhasil dalam memberikan layanan yang memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pengguna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada sistem tindakan pada kepemimpinan transaksional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sistem tindakan yang ada pada kepemimpinan transaksional di Perpustakaan SMK N 2 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta atau lebih dikenal dengan Perpustakaan Stembayo Yogyakarta. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu teori fungsionalisme struktural yang berfokus melahirkan sebuah teori sistem tindakan dengan empat tahapan yaitu; adaptation, goal, integrasi, latensi (AGIL) dan sebuah teori kepemimpinan transaksional dengan empat ciri yaitu; contigen reward, active management by exception, passive management by exception, laissez-faire. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan teknik pengambilan data wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan informan penelitian ini adalah Kepala Perpustakaan Ganesha Stembayo. Penelitian ini memiliki hasil temuan strategi agar staff perpustakaan mampu mencapai tujuan dari tugas yang diberikan. Strategi yang dilakukan antara lain memberikan motivasi, selalu mengingatkan untuk bekerja sesuai dengan tupoksi, staff perpustakaan diikutsertakan dalam pelatihan, memberikan reward sesuai prestasi kerja yang dicapai, dan diikut sertakan dalam kompetisi. Kepala Perpustakaan Ganesha Stembayo dalam pencapaian sistem hubungan memiliki strategi agar seluruh tugas yang diberikan kepada staff perpustakaan mencapai tujuan sesuai prosedur, dengan menerapkan plan-do-evaluate-followup (merencanakan-melaksanakan-evaluasi-tindak lanjut). Hasil lainnya menunjukkan bahwa seorang pemimpin dengan gaya transaksional berusaha menjadi mitra kerja ketika seorang staff perpustakaan tidak mampu mencapai tujuannya. Ini dilakukan dengan menunjukkan kesalahan dengan bahasa yang baik dan tidak bernada tinggi agar staff perpustakaan tidak merasa tertekan.

Abstract

Abstract: Rational choice assumes that all actions come from a calculation of profit and loss, where the decision is based on information. This study aims to determine the motives of students choosing UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library Science based on rational choice. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by purposive sampling of representatives of the 2019-2023 generation. After the data is obtained, it is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study say that the informant's decision to make a rational choice is based on the advantages and disadvantages of choosing his choice. In the aspect of advantages based on good career prospects such as ASN, high job market, superior accreditation of study programs (A), living in Yogyakarta as a student city and cultural city, relatively cheap tuition fees, alumni have spread throughout Indonesia and courses that are relevant to the needs of the times such as information systems, web design, and information and communication technology. In the aspect of losses felt by informants based on the lack of basic knowledge of library science, public perceptions that the librarian profession is underestimated, the library science study program is not known by the public, some informants consider the UKT of the last group to be quite high, library science as the second choice and lack of interest in library science. Geopark literacy is the ability to understand and appreciate the geological heritage and the biological, cultural, and social diversity associated with a geopark area. Geopark literacy can be improved through various media and strategies, one of which is the geopark corner. Corner Geopark is a special room in the library that provides information and education about parks through books, brochures, posters, videos, and local products. This study aims to examine the development of geopark literacy through Corner Geopark at the Archives and Library Service (DISARPUS) of Kebumen Regency. The research method uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews with librarians who have developed Corner Geopark, direct observation, and document analysis. The research location is at the Kebumen Regency Library and Library Office, which is located on Veteran Street No. 1, Kebumen. The results showed that the Geopark Corner at DISARPUS has been running since 2021 and has provided benefits to library visitors, especially students and teachers, and other user communities. Corner Geopark DISARPUS presents information about the Karangsambung-Karangbolong geopark, which according to the latest information is in the process of becoming one of the candidates for UNESCO Global Geopark in Indonesia. Corner Geopark DISARPUS Kebumen is also a means to promote tourism potential and local products in Kebumen Regency. This article recommends that the DISARPUS geopark corner can be improved in quality and quantity by adding a collection of books and other media relevant to geoparks, as well as organizing activities that can increase public interest and participation in geoparks.

Abstract

Bibliocrime merupakan bentuk kejahatan yang terjadi di lingkungan perpustakaan, seperti pencurian, perusakan, atau penyalahgunaan koleksi dan fasilitas perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan merumuskan strategi pencegahan bibliocrime melalui pendekatan Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) di Perpustakaan Universitas AKPRIND Indonesia. Pendekatan CPTED menawarkan solusi berbasis desain lingkungan fisik dan tata ruang yang dapat meningkatkan keamanan dan mengurangi peluang terjadinya kejahatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan observasi lapangan, wawancara dilakukan dengan pustakawan, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip CPTED seperti surveilans alami, pengendalian akses, penguatan teritorial, dan pemeliharaan fasilitas dapat secara signifikan meminimalkan potensi bibliocrime di lingkungan perpustakaan.

Abstract

The use of the AFIYO Library Instagram feed as a medium for plagiarism education is the focus of this study, with the aim of exploring the perceptions and impact of library users on plagiarism education content. With the increasing number of plagiarism cases in academic environments, this study aims to assess the effectiveness of the visual design of the Instagram feed in conveying messages about writing ethics. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Primary data was collected through in-depth interviews with seven active library users at the AFIYO Library, while secondary data was obtained from literature reviews related to information literacy and social media content design. Data analysis was conducted thematically to identify patterns of perception and attitude changes. The main results indicate that the combination of neutral gray colors, Montserrat and Agrandir typography, minimalist illustrations, and consistent layout makes plagiarism education content easy to understand and attention-grabbing. Most informants stated that the concise presentation and harmonious visuals made it easier for them to understand the types of plagiarism and the importance of citations. A total of 87.5% of respondents reported an increase in ethical awareness, and 37.5% actively shared the content with their peers. Discussions revealed that the credibility of the library account strengthened user trust, making educational messages easier to absorb and internalize. The summary of findings emphasizes that the use of the AFIYO Library's Instagram feed significantly contributes to improving plagiarism literacy among students. The implications of this study include recommendations for academic libraries to optimize social media as an educational tool, as well as suggestions for further research on comparing the effectiveness of other platforms and evaluating the long-term impact of digital education campaigns.
