Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the effect of giving a dose of Nitrogen fertilizer on the growth and yield of the onion plants of the Batu Ijo variety and the Cipanas Maja variety. The experiment was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Winaya Mukti, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency with a height of 850 m above sea level from July 2018 - September 2018. The research design used was a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of two factors: the first factor onion (v) divided by 2 levels, namely v1 = onion variety of Batu Ijo, v2 = onion variety of Maja Cipanas, and the second factor was ZA fertilizer (n) divided by 4 levels namely n0 = 0 kg ha-1, n1 = 200 kg ha-1, n2 = 250 kg ha-1, n3 = 300 kg ha-1 is repeated 4 times. The results of the experiment showed that Nitrogen had no significant effect on growth and yield of onion of the Batu Ijo Variety and the Cipanas Maja Variety, the onion of the Cipanas Maja Variety produced higher dry tuber weights (1.62 kg / plot or 16 .17 tons /ha) than onion Batu Ijo Variety (1.41 kg/plot or 14.07 tons/ha), optimum dose of Nitrogen not identified.

Abstract

The research aims to determine; (1) The effect of the interaction between the planting system and seed age on the growth and yield of rice plants, and (2) the planting system and age of the seed that gives the best yield and growth. The research was carried out in Sukamandijaya Village, Ciasem District, Subang Regency, starting from April to August 2021. The research was carried out with an experimental approach using a randomized block design (RAK) with a factorial pattern of strip plot design consisting of two factors, the first factor being a three-level planting system (tile system, jajar legowo 2: 1, and jajar legowo 4 : 1, and three levels of seed age (7 DAS, 14 DAS and 21 DAS) so that for each replication there were 9 treatment combinations and repeated three times To determine the effect of planting system treatment and seed age, analysis of variance through the F test was used, with the follow-up using Fisher's LSD/BNT follow-up test at a 5 percent. level of significance. The results showed that: (1) there was an interaction effect between planting system treatment and seed age on the yield of dry grain harvested per plot. The independent planting system affected the number of tillers per clump, the number of productive tillers, the number of grains of grain per panicle, the number of pithy grains per panicle and the weight of 1000 grains of grain. The age of the seed independently affected the number of tillers per clump, the number of productive tillers, the number of grains of grain per panicle, the number of pithy grains per panicle and the weight of 1000 grains of grain, and (2) the row planting system of legowo 4: 1 and the age of the seeds 14 days after sowing. gave the highest yield of dry grain harvest per plot, namely 7.83 kg per plot or equivalent to 8.70 tons of GKP per hectare.

Abstract

The experiment was carried out in the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Garut which is located in the Lab of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Garut. This experiment was carried out from August to November 2022. The method used in this study was a factorial complete randomized design (CRD) method consisting of 2 factors, namely the concentration of auxin Growth Regulatory Substance/IBA (A) and the concentration of Cytokinin Growth Regulatory Substance/BAP (B). factor was the growth regulator auxin (A), which consisted of three concentration levels: a1 = 0 mg L-1, a2 = 0.5 mg L-1, a3 = 1 mg L-1. The second factor was cytokinin growth regulators (B) with 3 concentration levels, namely b1 = 0 mg L-1, b2 = 3 mg L-1, b3 = 6 mg L-1. This study consisted of 9 treatment combinations and each treatment consisted of 3 replications, so there were 27 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 3 bottles, each bottle consisted of 1 explant, so that the total explants required were 81 seed embryo explants. The day the roots appeared showed that the treatment factor A (IBA) at level b1 showed a1 was significantly different from a2 and a3. Treatment factor A at levels b2 and b3 showed that a1 was not significantly different from a2 and a3. Treatment factor B (BAP) at level a1 showed b1 was significantly different from b2 and b3, b2 was not significantly different from b3. Treatment factor B at levels a2 and a3 showed b1, b2 and b3 were not significantly different. Based on the results of statistical analysis of the number, height shows that treatment factor A (IBA) at level b1 shows no significant difference a1, a2 and a3. Treatment factor B (BAP) on number, height, diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of shoots at level a1 showed that b1 was not significantly different from b2 and b3, b2 was not significantly different from b3. Based on the results of statistical analysis of shoot diameter, it showed that treatment factor A (IBA) at level b2 showed that a1 was significantly different from a2 and a3. The best interaction for the parameter of shoot diameter occurred in the combination of treatments a1 and b2, namely IBA 0 mg L-1 (control) and BAP 3 mg L-1 (4.22 mm)

Abstract

This experiment aims to study the agronomic appearance of three genotypes of red chili plants in Ciwidey District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. The research method used was an experimental method with a Simple Group Random Design (RAK), with three treatments repeated nine times. The data was analyzed with various fingerprints and continued with the Duncan Multiple Distance Test. The test material consisted of three genotypes of red chili, namely one of the new superior variety candidates, and two varieties belonging to the Agricultural Research and Development Institute, namely (Tanjung 2 and Carvi Agriagrihorti). The test was carried out in Sukamantri, Ciamis Regency with an altitude of 1300 m above sea level (above sea level) from May 2021 to October 2021. Observations were made on the characteristics of plant growth including, plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width and yield characteristics which include fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot, and fruit weight per hectare. The test results showed that there were differences in agronomic appearance between the three genotypes tested. The LV-037556 genotype displays the best plant growth, including plant height, stem diameter, leaf length and leaf width. The characteristics of the results of the three genotypes showed the best fruit weight per hectare (LV-037556 = 7.89 tons ha-1, compared to Tanjung 2 variety = 6.15 tons ha-1, Carvi variety = 5.84 tons ha-1

Abstract

Pakcoy cultivation can not only be done on a large land, but for people who only have a narrow land such as urban communities can cultivate pakcoy using pots/polybags. Optimization of pakcoy plant production can be achieved when the need for macro and micro nutrients of the plant is met. By applying liquid organic fertilizer combined with inorganic fertilizer (NPK), it is hoped that it can increase plant productivity and efficiency in fertilizer use, so that the right formula is obtained between the mixture of liquid organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer (NPK). The experiment was carried out in Cibiru Wetan Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency., 660-705 meters above sea level an order of Inceptisol soil, starting from October 2022 to November 2022. This study aims to study the interaction between the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer and the amount of inorganic fertilizer (NPK) on the growth and yield of pakcoy plants and to determine the optimal concentration of liquid organic fertilizer at each dose of inorganic fertilizer (NPK). The results of the experiment showed that there was an interaction between POC concentration and NPK dosage on plant height and leaf count, 15 HST, 20 HST and 25 HST, and no interaction occurred in plant height 10 HST, leaf count 10 HST, fresh weight, fresh plant yield weight, dry weight and NPA
