Abstract

AB mix nutrition consists of two different packages, the elements contained in it are macro (N, P, K, Mg, Ca, S) and micro (Fe, Zn, Mo, Cu, Mn, Bo, Cl, Si, Na, Co). Rice washing water contains nitrogen, phosphorus, carbohydrates, sulfur, magnesium, potassium, vitamin B1 and iron. The results showed that the treatment dose of rice washing water had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and root weight. The higher the dose of rice washing water, 30 ml/water, the higher the plant growth will be. The results of research on the interaction of AB mix treatment with rice washing water had no significant effect on plant height, leaf color and root weight in lettuce plants. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the type of growing media and the concentration of the mixed AB solution on the growth and yield of kale using an axis hydroponic system. The research method used was an experimental method with type of planting media included: husk charcoal (M1), rockwool (M2), cocopeat (M3) and the concentration of AB Mix nutrients consisting of: 1750 ppm (N1 ), 2000 ppm (N2), and 2250 ppm (N3). Parameters observed in the study included: plant height, plant diameter, number of leaves, rot length, wet weight per plant, wet weight per plot and leaf area. The results showed that there was an effect of independent treatment of the type of planting media which had a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, and fresh weight per plot. The concentration of the AB Mix nutrient solution had no significant effect on each treatment. Rockwool (M2) and husk charcoal (M1) planting media produced the best fresh weight with respective weights of 636.33 and 618.67, while the lowest fresh weight was produced by cocopeat growing media, namely 453.56. Abstract

Pada bulan Februari hingga Juli 2023, penelitian dilakukan di persawahan Desa Karangjaya, Kecamatan Pedes, Kabupaten Karawang. Sawah tersebut terletak pada ketinggian rata-rata sekitar 100 meter di atas permukaan laut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh strategi penanaman Jajar Legowo terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman padi varietas Inpari 48. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) sederhana yang terdiri dari perlakuan 1: sistem tanam tegel, perlakuan 2: sistem tanam jajar legowo 2:1, perlakuan 3: sistem tanam jajar legowo 3:1, dan perlakuan 4: sistem tanam jajar legowo 4:1. Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman,jumlah anakan,jumlah anakan poduktif,panjang malai,jumlah gabah per malai dan bobot 1000 butir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan Sistem Tanam Jajar Legowo menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanam padi yang lebih baik. Perlakuan jajar legowo 2:1 berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan dan jumlah gabah per malai.

Abstract

Shallots are vegetable commodities whose economic value and needs are quite high in the country, this has caused a decrease in the value of shallot exports over the last 5 years. Therefore, it is necessary to increase shallot production in order to increase the export value of shallots again by using Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) biological fertilizers containing good microorganisms that can produce phytohormones, help increase soil fertility and reduce pests. The research was conducted in the experimental land of the Faculty of Agriculture, Winaya Mukti University, Sumedang Regency. The research implementation time is from February 2023 to August 2023. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of growth and yield of onion plants and obtain the best dose of bamboo root PGPR on the yield of onion plants of the Bima Brebes variety. The environmental design uses Group Random Design (RAK) consisting of 5 treatments (A = 0 L ha-1, B = 2 L ha-1, C = 4 L ha-1, D = 6 L ha-1, E = 8 L ha-1) and repeated 5 times. The results showed that the dose of PGPR bamboo roots had a significant effect on the yield of onion plants of the Bima Brebes variety on the observation parameters of the number of tubers per clump, the number of tubers per plot and the fresh weight of tubers per clump. Abstract

Chicory (Brassica pekinensis L.), a leaf vegetable that can grow in subtropical and tropical climates, has high economic value, but its production is still relatively small. The provision of BSF and PGPR frass is expected to increase soil organic matter content and nutrient availability for chicory plants. This experiment was carried out at the Experimental Garden, Cikidang Village, Lembang District, West BandunggRegency, at an altitudeeof 1,250 meterssabove sea level, in the Andisol soil order. This study aims to study the interaction between different doses of cassava and the best concentrations of bamboo root PGPR on the growth and yield of mustard plants. The study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors, namely BSF frass doses, namely 0 g, 25 g, 50 g, and 75 g, and PGPR concentrations of bamboo roots, concentrations of 0 ml/L water, 10 ml/L water, 20 ml/L water, and 30 ml/L water; each treatment was repeated four times. The results showed no interaction between BSF frass doses and bamboo root PGPR concentrations on the growth and yield of chicory plants. The presence of bamboo roots' PGPR and BSF frass causes the chicory plants' high response at 30 HST. The best dose of chicken manure is 75 grams per plant, and the PGPR concentration of bamboo roots is 10 ml per liter of water. Keywords: Chicken Manure Kasgot, Bamboo Root PGPR, Chinensis cabbage

Abstract

This research aims to study the growth response and yield of two different varieties of caisim plants and what the optimal nitrogen rate is to produce net fresh weight per plot. The research was conducted in the rice fields of Babakan Pameungpeuk Village, Wanasari Village, Wanayasa District, Purwakarta Regency. The height of the place is 650 meters above sea level September - October 2023. The research design used is a Split Plot Design which consists of 2 factors and each factor consists of 2 levels of treatment, the first factor is V = Variety, of which v1 = Shinta F1, v2 = Dora. The second factor is N = dose of ameliorant plus, namely n0 = 0 kg N/0 kg Urea ha1, n1 = 92 kg N/200 kg Urea ha-1, n2 = 184 kg N/400 kg Urea ha-1, n3 = 276 kg N/600 kg Urea ha-1, n4 = 368 kg N/800 kg Urea ha-1, The same replication was placed in the same place towards East-West with the experimental layout. The results of the research showed that there was a real interaction between the main plot of plant varieties and sub-plots of nitrogen fertilizer dosage on observations of root volume, root decay ratio, gross fresh weight per plant, net fresh weight per plant, gross fresh weight per plot and net fresh weight per plot, the optimum dose of nitrogen fertilizer to produce net fresh weight per plant.Keywords: Nitrogen Fertilizer, Caisim Plants, Varieties

Abstract

Farmers who have been cultivating sweet potatoes have complained about the large number of pest attacks which can cause a decrease in the quality of their harvest. The storage of Cilembu sweet potatoes currently carried out by farmers is still traditional. The aim of this research was to study the interaction between cleaning techniques and storage containers on the preferences of lanas insect pests and the quality of Cilembu sweet potatoes. The research was a factorial experiment with two factors and three replications using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method. The first factor is the technique of cleaning sweet potatoes using conventional water spraying (c1), brushing sweet potatoes using a coconut fiber brush (c2), soaking using foodgrade liquid soap (c3) and quick dipping in 10 mL-1 neem solution (c4). The second factor, storage in a container with a gauze lid to provide air circulation (s1) and a container with a tight lid (s2). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a level of 5%. The experimental results showed that there was an interaction on the preference level parameters of the lanas insect pest. The cleaning technique using quick dipping of sweet potatoes that have been washed and stored in a gauze container can reduce the preference of lanas insects to eat and lay eggs. Abstract

This research aims to see whether there is an interaction between the composition of the planting media and the concentration of ZPT Rootone-F on the growth of Bougainvillea glabra cuttings. The results of this research can provide information regarding the composition of the planting media and the concentration of ZPT Rootone-F which can increase the growth of Bougainvillea glabra cuttings. This experiment used a two-factor randomized block design (RAK) and was repeated twice. Factor 1 or more precisely the composition of the planting medium (m) includes 4 levels: m1 = soil + sand + organic fertilizer (1: 1: 1), m2 = soil + sand + compost (2: 1: 1), m3 = soil + sand + compost (1: 2: 1) and m4 = soil + sand + compost (1: 1: 2). The second factor is the use of different concentrations of Rootone-F, including 5 levels: f0 (0 g L-1 Water “Control”), f1 (10 g L-1 Water), f2 ( 20 g L-1 Water), f3 ( 300 g L-1 Water) and f4 (40 g L-1 Water). Differences in media components and Rootone-F concentrations in Bougainvillea glabra cuttings had no effect on the growth of Bougainvillea glabra cuttings. Abstract

This research was conducted from May to September 2022 in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. This study aims to study the interaction between the application of nutrient solution to the leaves and the type of fertilizer on the growth and yield of large red chili (Capsicum annum L.) Baja F1 variety. The Environmental Design used a Split plot design consisting of two treatments which were repeated 4 times. The main plot was application of nutrient solution to leaves (F) which consisted of two levels: f0 (without application) and f1 (application of nutrient solution to leaves every 10 days). Subplots were the fertilization technology (M) which consisted of four levels: m0 (nutrient solution), m1 (4 tons ha-1 cow compost), m2 (6 kg ha-1 bioamelioran) and m3 (4 tons ha-1 amelioran plus) ). The experimental results showed an interaction between the application of nutrient solution to leaves and the type of fertilizer on growth (plant height 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP, number of leaves 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP, stem diameter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP) and yield (number of fruits per plant and weight per fruit) of chili plants. Application of nutrient solution to leaves and bioamelioran showed the best results on growth (plant height at 2, 3, 4, and 5 WAP, number of leaves at 1, 2, 3 and 4 WAP, stem diameter 4 and 5 WAP) and yield of chili plants ( number of fruits per plant). The type of amelioran plus fertilizer without the application of nutrient solution to the leaves gave the best results on the growth of chili plants (plant height at 1 WAP, number of leaves at 5 WAP, and stem diameters of 1, 2, and 3 WAP). Types of bioamelioran fertilizers without the application of nutrient solution to the leaves give the best results on chili plant yield (weight per fruit). Abstract

This research aims to study the interaction between ameliorant formula dosage and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of Pakcoy nauli F1 varieties. The experiment was carried out in the farmer's garden in Gudang Village, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency with a height of 870 meters above sea level (m asl), the time of the experiment was from July to November 2020. The research was conducted using an experimental method with environmental design using Randomized Group Design (RBD) factorial pattern consisting of two factors and repeated twice. The first factor is the dosage of the ameliorant formula with four levels: (0, 1, 2, 3 tons ha-1). The second factor was the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer at four levels: (0, 1, 2, 3 ml L-1 solution). The results showed that the interaction was not significant between the ameliorant formula dosage and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of Pakcoy nauli F1 varieties. The results of the independent test of the ameliorant formula dosage affect growth and yield. The dosage of ameliorant formula 3 t ha-1 has a good effect on plant height at 7 DAS and 21 DAS and weight per plant, with a weight per hectare of 69.1 tonnes ha-1. The results of the independent test the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) have an effect on crop yield. The POC concentration of 3 ml L-1 solution gave the highest effect on the weight per plant, with a weight per hectare of 67.5 tonnes ha-1. The dosage of ameliorant formula and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer increased the yield of plants by 21.32% and 18.86%, respectively, compared to the control.
