Abstract

The empowerment of a community group with the aim of improving self quality so that the life and economy quality can also improve has to be done collaboratively such as using the principle of quadruple helix applied by Eco Business Indonesia. This study aims to elaborate the empowerment process that happens to the women and community of Kedaung. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method and was conducted in November 2021 to February 2022 in Kedaung village, Pamulang district, South Tangerang city. It was found that the empowerment process done by Eco Business Indonesia is in accord with what has been explained by experts; hence, provides positive impact which can be enjoyed by the program reciever and the local community so that their quality if live improves due to the enhancement of their knowledge and income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process and stages of empowerment activities, the impact of the program as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of the UEP empowerment program in improving welfare. The subjects in this study were eight people, three from the West Jakarta Social Service and five from the beneficiaries of the UEP empowerment program in Tambora District. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study used interview, observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the empowerment of the UEP of the West Jakarta Social Service in increasing the poor in Tambora District has been able to improve welfare through the UEP program with a felt impact on the five beneficiaries of the UEP program. This can be seen from the lives of the five beneficiaries in Tambora District which are in accordance with the existing indicators of success. The indicators for the success of the UEP program include economic impacts, social impacts, and administrative impacts. The three success indicators have been in accordance with the increased welfare felt by the five beneficiaries.

Abstract

Children are part of all the hopes of both parents (father and mother) as a successor to life. Having children is the purpose of marriage to continue offspring and the preservation of wealth. Having children is the pride of the family. For couples who do not have children, many couples take other people's children to be adopted by couples who are not blessed with children. In Indonesia, there are three legal systems that apply and regulate the issue of child adoption. The three legal systems areIslamic Law, Customary Law and Legislation.

Abstract

When in 2009 the Situ Gintung lake collapsed because it was no longer strong enough to hold the overflow of water in it, many sociological and economic aspects of society changed. The research found several socio-economic implications, namely: at work there are various changes, namely people cannot take advantage when opening a business. In social institutions, namely the formation of the Situ Gintung Forum. Solidarity between residents mostly occurs when there are social activities in their environment, and what is discussed is only complaints about the Situ Gintung tragedy. As well as the value system, namely that people understand each other when a resident is affected by adisaster, and only people who live permanently can continue their education to a higher level.

Abstract

Community development, presupposes that the role of a figure in changing society towards ideal conditions, is very important. This figure becomes a role model and role model for the community, then he can make social changes in society. This article concludes that strategies for community empowerment through da'wah in Baduy Luar, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Banten by KH Zaenudin include strategies that are included in five programs, namely: Providing Guidance, Providing Formal and Non-Formal Education, Improving Welfare, Providing Housing.

Abstract

In the community development process, understanding and integrating procedural justice is expected to be the key to success. In the process of community development there must be a procedure in which all elements of society actively participate in determining the rules of the game, strategies and working mechanisms of a program. In Indonesia, Community Development includes and has become a separate discussion in addressing issues of poverty, justice and human rights, law, ecological crises and other social issues which are the scope of community development. With Rawls's theoretical framework, this article concludes that justice can also be called a tool to unite people.

Abstract

Indonesia has many different cultures produced by various ethnic groups of people in every region in Indonesia, one of which is Batik. Batik is a unique Indonesian art that has been worldwide and even UNESCO has designated Batik as Indonesian cultural heritage. LPEM BAZNAS utilizes Batik culture to empower people in the Bogor area, precisely in Cibuluh Batik Village. The empowerment carried out is batik training through the mustahik entrepreneur program conducted by BAZNAS. This study aims to determine the process of economic empowerment carried out by LPEM BAZNAS, and to find out the results obtained by craftsmen while joining the cottage industry.This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation studies. This study uses the theory of stages of empowerment by Sulistiyani, and the theory of success of empowerment to see the results proposed by Schuler, Heshemi and Riley quoted in Edi Suharto's book.The results of this study indicate that the utilization of local cultural potential, namely Batik Bogor by BAZNAS, has succeeded in improving the economy of the people of Kampung Batik Cibuluh.

Abstract

The increase in poverty caused by the prolonged economic crisis has made the small business sector go out of business due to competition with large entrepreneurs, while relatively small capital and poor management make small businesses unable to develop their business to the fullest. This article concludes that the implementation of approaches in community empowerment requires strategies to encourage success in the program, namely through training strategies, provision of revolving funds, profit-sharing funds, joint venture funds, and BMT funds are the findings of field research. This strategy is expected to be able to change the condition of the poor to become more empowered, through the skills of community workers to the target community.

Abstract

Program urban farming Kelompok Tani Gang Hijau Asmat terbentuk atas upaya masyarakat dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan lingkungan hidup yang terjadi di perkotaan. Urban farming menjadi wadah untuk melestarikan lingkungan melalui penghijauan sekaligus pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran dan hasil pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani Gang Hijau Asmat dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui urban farming di RT 03 RW 02 Kelurahan. Petukangan, Jakarta Selatan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Informan penelitian terdiri dari tiga orang pengurus dan empat orang anggota kelompok tani, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive  sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang dianalisis menggunakan teori Jim Ife ini menunjukan bahwa Peran Kelompok Tani Gang Hijau Asmat dalam menjalankan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Program Urban Farming   meliputi empat peran. Peran memfasilitasi dalam bentuk menyediakan kebutuhan dan alat untuk bertani hidroponik. Peran edukasi dengan membangun kesadaran, memberikan informasi dan pelatihan tentang praktek bertani hidroponik. Peran representasi dengan mengembangkan jaringan atau mitra dengan Dinas Ketahanan pangan, Kelautan dan Pertanian, Kelompok Wanita Tani Dahlia, Balkot Farm.  Peran teknis dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data hasil panen, penjualan, pengeluaran dan modal untuk mengkaji hasil program. Penggunaan media digital seperti facebook, instagram, google meet, zoom meeting, whatsapp group untuk memberikan berbagai informasi dan peltihan juga merupakan peran teknis yang dilakukan Kelompok Tani Gang Hijau Asmat. Adapun hasil pemberdayaan dari kegiatan urban farming dianalisis menggunakan teori  Mardikanto meliputi empat bina diantaranya bina manusia, bina usaha, bina lingkungan, bina kelembagaan

Abstract

Komunikasi partisipatif berkaitan dengan upaya membangun proses pemberdayaan masyarakat secara dialogis, setara, dan jangka panjang. Sehingga, masyarakat menjadi agen aktif dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi partisipatif sebagai penguatan ketahanan sosial yang dilakukan oleh Koneksi Anak Negeri melalui Program ‘Koin Kadeudeuh’ di masyarakat Pangalengan Kabupaten Bandung. Secara spesifik, penelitian diarahkan untuk menganalisis proses implementasi, pendekatan dan dampak proyek sosial ‘Koin Kadeudeuh’ dalam membangun resiliansi sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menggambarkan pemahaman mendalam tentang dinamika, dampak, dan signifikansi program Koin Kadeudeuh dalam konteks penguatan ketahanan sosial. Sementara analisis deskriptif dilakukan untuk menginterpretasikan data-data kualitatif melalui metode studi kasus yang memungkinkan eksplorasi mendalam terhadap fenomena program Koin Kadeudeuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion, Leaderless Group Discussion dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program ‘Koin Kadeudeuh’ dipandang sebagai inisiatif komunikasi partisipatif yang dilakukan melalui pendekatan bottom up. Pola komunikasi ini bersandar pada upaya membangun dialog, kesetaraan dan partisipasi jangka panjang dalam mewujudkan kolektivitas, konektivitas dan kohesivitas sosial. Komunikasi partisipatif dalam proyek sosial ini berdampak pada adanya penguatan norma, kepercayaan dan jaringan kemitraan sebagai modal sosial dalam mewujudkan kesadaran masyarakat sebagai agen aktif yang menciptakan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan ketahanan sosial. Implikasi penelitian diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam merumuskan model komunikasi partisipatif dalam membangun resiliansi sosial masyarakat pedesaan.
