Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning method to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of sociology students in class X IPS SMA N1 Meukek, South Aceh Regency. This research is quantitative and experimental. The sample was class X with two learning models, one treatment and one control. Researchers used observation methods, questionnaires, and analyzed statistics in SPSS for Windows 23. The results showed that the learning motivation and learning outcomes of students in the experimental class using the jigsaw cooperative learning model It can be seen that student learning motivation in the experimental class increased from the category of often to always, with the highest score of 85 and an average score of 51.4%. While the learning outcomes of experimental class students were effectively used in improving student learning outcomes in sociology subjects, with the highest pretest score of 86 with an average of 66.7994 and the highest post-test score of 86 with an average of 80.9854, which means that the use of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes is very effective.

Abstract

The rapid development of the gaming industry has brought new challenges in terms of hardware limitations faced by some players. Nowadays, many video games require devices with high specifications to provide an optimal gaming experience. However, this left several players with devices that were unable to run these video games. This research focuses on experimenting with video games in WebGL format that can run well on devices with low specifications, thereby allowing wider access to a quality gaming experience. In this research, the author tested video game performance on various devices with different specifications in WebGL format. The test results show that this approach succeeded in achieving the author's goal, namely that the video game still can be played on devices with low specifications.

Abstract

The environment, technology, and many facets of daily living are all significantly impacted by temperature conditions. Knowing environmental health, agriculture, industry, electrical technology, weather and natural disasters, transportation, and even scientific research are just a few of the many reasons why temperature conditions are crucial. Fuzzy algorithms are used to more flexibly process temperature data while creating a temperature detector employing fuzzy logic. We can base our conclusions on a wider range of criteria than merely right or wrong thanks to fuzzy logic. A temperature sensor, microprocessor, and display (such an LCD or LED screen) are some basic electronic components that can be used to create a temperature detector.

Abstract

Technological progress is currently experiencing very rapid development where mobile communication systems are technologies that support seamless communication links. When the user equipment is within range of the eNodeB, factors such as the distance between the user equipment and the eNodeB will affect the signal performance received by the user equipment. In this study, we analyzed the effect of the distance between user equipment and eNodeB on RSRP and SINR values on LTE 1800 MHz technology. The method used is the measurement of the drive test and the calculation of the Link Budget and the Propagation Model. The results and analysis show irregular changes in RSRP and SINR values caused by varying obstacle factors in the propagation environment. According to the calculation results of the Link Budget and the Propagation Model on the research object, it was found that the RSRP and SINR values decreased for every 100 m change in distance from the eNodeB. Based on the comparison, it is obtained that the PCS Extension to Hatta propagation model is close to the drive test measurement results.

Abstract

Microstrip antenna is one of the most important devices in telecommunications systems. One example is the design of a microstrip antenna on a long time evolution (LTE) device. Disadvantages of this microstrip antenna include low gain, poor directionality, low efficiency, resistance losses on the feed line and narrow bandwidth. This research will design a triangular patch array microstrip antenna to increase the gain so that it can meet the desired work specifications with a working frequency of 2.300MHz. The antenna is designed using FR-4 Epoxy substrate material with a size of 120 mm x 60 mm, which has a dielectric constant (?r) of 4.3, a loss tangent of 0.035 and a material thickness of 1.6 mm. Antenna designed using CST studio suite software 2018. The results obtained in the working frequency band 2280.4 MHz – 2370.0 Mhz, middle frequency 2332 MHz, return loss – 47.360dB, bandwidth 24.7MHz, VSWR 1.008, gain 4.39dBi, impedance 49.90 , and unidirectional radiation pattern.

Abstract

In today's globalized world, many people are looking for domestic and international work for various reasons, such as higher salaries and better work experience. This application will assist job seekers in finding suitable job vacancies. With their skills and interests, as well as helping companies find candidates that suit their needs, information on job vacancies in the country and abroad. In the initial phase of developing this application, an application prototype will be created that includes the main features of this application. These features include information on job vacancies in the country and abroad, a job search system based on skills and interests, and a system design method using UML (Unified Modeling Language) design. This modeling is a system implementation of how to put a strategy into an image (visual) in the form of a diagram. This model facilitates the making of an application program or implementation and can be used in the long term, not only at this time but continuously and continuously. Because application programs are used for a long time, it is necessary to have a good and precise analysis of planning, design, and modeling, such as flow for application programs. In this study, using the UML method, submitting online job applications, as well as a notification.

Abstract

Maize drying is a crucial procedure in the agricultural and food industries, aimed at decreasing the moisture content of maize kernels to prolong their shelf life, inhibit microbial growth and maintain their quality. Two common methods for drying corn include natural techniques, which involve drying the maize in the sun, and artificial techniques, where specialized equipment such as hot air dryers, drum dryers and microwaves are employed. The author constructed a corn dryer utilizing Arduino. This device employs heat elements and fans to expedite the corn drying process. The tool can significantly quicken the corn drying process. The author utilises a DHT22 sensor to gauge temperature and humidity levels of the corn. The device is capable of generating temperatures ranging from 20?C to 90?C, thanks to the assistance of the DHT22 sensor during the drying process.

Abstract

Hybrid learning is a learning method that combines or combines online learning with face-to-face learning (PTM). so that in its implementation, there are times when students and teaching staff meet face to face in class. However, in its implementation there are several obstacles, one of which is the number of students attending class and decreasing interest in learning, resulting in a poor final semester assessment. In connection with the problems faced, this research will try to measure interest in the hybrid learning model that has been implemented at Mulia University using the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory method, where this method is a decision-making method used to evaluate alternatives by considering several attributes. relevant and selecting the alternative that best meets the needs and preferences of the decision maker.

Abstract

Benoa Village has an area of approximately 2.38 km² and a population of 9,569 people in 2020 with a population density of 4,013 people/km2. This area is included in the list of tsunami-prone areas because the area is located on the edge of the Indian Ocean, which is known as an area with a high level of earthquake and volcanic activity. The 2004 tsunami that hit the coast of the Indian Ocean increased the potential for similar disasters to occur in the area. Determination of the shortest evacuation route in Benoa Village using Djikstra Algorithm. The result obtained is a path from the evacuation starting point vertex to the comfort zone node. Thisvertex represents places and road intersections arranged in the form of a weighted graph (distance) with a total of 51 vertexs, and an Adjacency Matrix is formed which is processed using the C++ Program. The Safe Zone vertex (Grand Hyatt Bali Temporary Meet Point (V50), Hattrick Futsal (V51)) are headed from the evacuation starting point of Serangan Beach (4.49km to V50, 6.94km to V51), Noanui Beach (3.95km to V50, 6.39km to V51), Samuh Beach (2.75km to V50, 5, 19km to V51), Nusa Dua Beach A (3.54km to V50, 5.48km to V51), Nusa Dua Beach B (3.47km to V50, 4.79km to V51), Peninsula Island (4.69km to V50, 4.80km to V51), Megiat Beach (4.81km to V50, 4.15km to V51) and Geger Beach (5.86km to V50, 5.09km to V51).
