Abstract

This research aims to find and describe the form of gender injustice and the form of women's resistance in the novel Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan by using Simone de Beauvior's existential feminism theory approach. The data source in this research is taken from the novel Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan by Andina dwifatma. Data collection in this study used reading and note-taking techniques. The results of this study show the existence of gender injustice in the form of discrimination, biological conditions, and a form of resistance in the form of rejection of women as others as well as additional workloads on women to find and show the existence of the female characters from this novel.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning requires students to develop process skills. One of the process skills that must be mastered is the ability to complete a fill-in-the-blank test. The ability to complete a fill-in-the-blank test is very important because it can provide quantitative information that is easy to understand. The skill of reading or completing a fill-in-the-blank test in the form of verbal and nonverbal sentences is very necessary, especially in the field of Indonesian language. This study aims to determine the level of discourse readability in the Indonesian language textbook Class X Independent Curriculum. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted by measuring the readability of discourse based on thecloze technique. The text tested was the text of the observation report in the grade X Indonesian language book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture revised 2021. The results showed that the highest percentage of text readability level categories was the easy category (independent) as many as 67.5% or 81 students, the medium category (instructional) 20.8% or 25 students and the difficult category (frustration) 11.7% or 14 students. The right choice of words (diction) and the application of simple sentence structures (simplex) make it easy for students to understand the content of the text. Thus, the observation report text is suitable to be applied at grade X level.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal  stages of meaning of kelong Sisila-sila in the poetry of Pakkiok Bunting, Songkolo Village, Gowa Regency. by using Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutical theory. Hermeneutics is an important element in understanding or providing meaning from a text. This theory uses three stages, namely objective meaning, reflective meaning and existential meaning. The method was designed using qualitative descriptive analysis research. The data is sourced from the kelong sisila-sila in the pakkiok bunting poem, Songkolo Village, Gowa Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, reading and listening, taking notes and documentation. The results of the research show that the analysis of the kelong Sisila-sila in the pakkiok bunting poetry of Songkolo Village, Gowa Regency found 28 symbol on stages of objective, reflective and existential meaning. . In this meaning it contains advice or pap put toriolo which is useful for the people who listen. Kelong Sisila-sila in the poem Pakkiok Bunting is believed by the Songkolo people to be oral literature which reflects that Makassar culture must be respected, especially for the younger generation in developing Makassar literature.Keywords: Kelong Sisila-sila, Pakkiok Bunting, Paul Ricoeur's Hermeneutics,Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap tahapan makna yang ada pada kelong sisila-sila dalam syair pakkiok bunting Desa Songkolo Kabupaten Gowa. dengan menggunakan kajian teori hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur. Hermeneutika merupakan unsur penting dalam memahami atau memberikan makna dari sebuah teks. Teori ini menggunakan tiga tahapan yakni makna objektif, makna reflektif dan makna eksistensial. Metode didesain dengan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif analisis. Data bersumber pada kelong sisila-sila dalam syair pakkiok bunting Desa Songkolo Kabupaten Gowa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, baca-simak, catat, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis kelong sisila-sila dalam syair pakkiok bunting Desa Songkolo Kabupaten Gowa ditemukan 28 simbol Tahapan makna objektif, reflektif dan eksistensial. Dalam makna tersebut mengandung nasehat atau pappasang toriolo yang berguna bagi masyarakat yang mendengarkan.  Kelong sisila dalam syair pakkiok bunting dipercaya oleh masyarakat Songkolo merupakan suatu sastra lisan yang mencerminkan bahwa budaya Makassar harus dihargai keberadaannya khususnya bagi generasi muda dalam mengembangkan sastra Makassar.Kata Kunci: Kelong Sisila-sila, Pakkiok Bunting, Hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur

Abstract

This study aims to determine the challenges and effectiveness of the Gerakan Lancar Membaca (KAREBA) program as a teaching program in reading assistance for students of SD Inpres Sambung Jawa 1 Makassar. KAREBA is a program designed by students of Teaching V campus to improve students' reading skills through a structured approach and active participation. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The researcher made observations first, then interviewed 5 students of Teaching Campus V at SD Inpres Sambung Jawa 1 Makassar. The results showed that there were several challenges and effectiveness in implementing the KAREBA program at SD Inpres Sambung Jawa 1 Makassar. The challenges are student attendance and participation, motivation and interest in learning, and time management. Opportunities for these challenges include improved reading skills, parental and school support, and teaching methods. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the KAREBA program can be a reference for elementary school teachers in implementing this teaching program.
