Abstract

This research aims at yielding product of Makassar Language learning material for Junior High School or Islamic Junior High School students which is feasible in terms of context, language, and presentation. The research design employed refers to Four-D Research Development conducted by Thiagarajan (1974:5) through four stages, consisting ofwhich are (1) defining; (2) planning; (3) developing, and (4) disseminating. The research data is analyzed by using domain analysis technique with critical and reflective principles. This learning material is validated by the experts of language teaching, linguists and literature experts and has been tested to Makassar Language Teachers SMP/MTs in Makassar city as the field practitioners. The research finding describes that after this product is revised, the final assessment result of this product shows that this product is highly feasible (92%). Likewise, the test result of the practitioners (teachers) in the field is also in highly feasible category (96%). This research result shows that the developed product of Makassar language learning material can be used as one of Makassar language teaching resources in South Sulawesi Keywords: the development of learning materials, Makassar languages

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find and describe the embodiment of cultural values ​​in the Kappalak Tallumbatua Sinrilik text, and (2) the relevance of cultural values ​​in the Kappalak Tallumbatua Sinrilik text to the character education of high school students. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The object of research is the various cultural values ​​contained in the Sinrilik Kappalak Tallumbatua text and their relevance to character education for high school students. The data in this study are in the form of paragraphs, sentences, and words related to cultural values ​​in the Kappalak Tallumbatua Sinrilik Text and the 1993 translation of Aburaerah Arief and Zainuddin Hakim and the curriculum for high school level Makassar Language subjects. Collecting research data through reading - listening techniques and note taking techniques. The data analysis technique is through reading, identification, classification, analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results showed: (1) Cultural values ​​include; (a) cultural values ​​in human relations with God which consist of piety, piety, belief in destiny, gratitude, and desire, (b) cultural values ​​in human relations with society which consist of values ​​of deliberation, mutual cooperation, harmony or balance . and solidarity, (c) cultural values ​​in human relations with each other, which consist of the values ​​of love, loyalty, obedience to parents, and wisdom, (d) cultural values ​​in human relations with oneself which consist of the values ​​of willingness, learning, respect high in customs and religion, courage and vigilance, and (e) cultural values ​​in the relationship between humans and nature, consisting of human values ​​that are integrated with nature and humans who control or exploit nature. (2) The text of the Sinrilik Kappalak Tallumbatua is very relevant to character education for high school students, including religious character, honesty, hard work, love of peace, responsibility, love for the country

Abstract

Abstract: Gender in the Poetry Kelong Makassar. This study aimed to describe the expression and the meaning of gender in the poem that describesin kelong Makassar. The research data is de-rived fromoral and written  data. The oral data obtained from  informants and written data obtained from a collection of kelong Makassar. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using the techniques of gender analysis. The results of this study  indicated  that the poem of Makassar Ke-long contained  symbolism of men and women. The flower ejaya, kebok flower, bine, bulaeng, jamarrok, intang, and high hair style. A phrase that symbolizes the man are the jangang-jangang, bombang, sombalak, and Tope. The Expression in Makassar Kelong poem illustrated that men and women have their own  respective roles, and both of them  are complementary. Abstrak: Gender dalam Syair Kelong Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ungkapan dan makna yang menggambarkan gender dalam syair kelong Makassar. Data penelitian ini bersumber dari data lisan dan data tertulis. Data lisan diperoleh dari informan dan data tertulis diperoleh dari kumpulan kelong Makassar. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis gender. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam syair kelong Makassar terdapat ungkapan yang menyimbolkan perempuan, yakni bunga ejaya, bunga kebok, benih, bulaeng, jamarrok, intang, dan kondek tinggi. Ungkapan yang menyimbolkan laki-laki, yakni jangang-jangang, bombang, sombalak, dan tope. Ungkapan dalam syair kelong Makassar menggambarkan bahwa laki-laki dan wanita memiliki peran masing-masing yang saling melengkapi. Kata kunci: kelong, gender, budaya Makassar

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk  materi pembelajaran bahasa Makassar  bagi siswa SMP/MTs. yang layak dari segi isi, bahasa, dan penyajian. Desai penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada penelitian  pengembangan Four-D oleh Thiagarajan (1974:5) yang   melalui empat  tahap, yaitu (1) pendefinisian; (2) perencanaan ; (3)  pengembangan, dan (4) penyebarluasan.  Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis domain dengan prinsip kritis dan reflektif. Materi pembelajaran ini divalidasi oleh  pakar pengajaran bahasa, linguistik, dan paakar sastra serta diujicobakan kepada guru bahasa Makassar tingkat SMP/MTs di Kota Makassar sebagai praktisi di lapangan...Temuan penelitian menggambarkan bahwa setelah produk ini drevisi, maka hasil penilaian produk akhir berada pada kategori sangat layak (92%).Demikian pula hasil uji coba praktisi (guru) di lapangan, berada pada kategori sangat layak (96%). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk materi pembelajaran  bahasa Makassar yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai  salah satu sumber bahan ajar bahasa Makassar di Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

Forms and Meanings of Expression Connotations in the Mapettuada Process of Bugis Traditional Marriage Traditions in Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency. This study aims to describe the form and meaning of expressions in the mapettuada procession of the Bugis traditional marriage tradition in Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data of this research are in the form of mapettuada expressions in the traditional Bugis marriage tradition in Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency. The data techniques used in this study were observation, interview, recording, and recording techniques. The results showed that: (1) the form of the expression contained in the mapettuada procession of the Bugis community in Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency, is a form of assimellereng expression, namely mappoji expressions, these expressions can be seen from the opening stage to the closing stage. The statement of love from the prospective groom as a sign to make the prospective bride his life partner as evidenced by too many processes before the mappettuada is carried out. This statement is very humane as a manifestation of the love that arises even though it uses different expressions, and (2) the expression used in the procession of the Bugis community mapettuada in Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency contains the meaning of the simplicity and humility of the speaker which shows in every expression spoken, both from the male family and the female side.

Abstract

Problems of SMA Negeri 2 Barru Teachers in Online Learning Bugis Language. This study aims to describe the problems faced by teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating online-based Bugis language learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The informants were two Bugis language teachers. Data collection techniques include: Observation, Interview, and Documentation. The results of the study show: (1) The problem in planning online Bugis language learning is that in the RPP there is a discrepancy between the learning objectives and the KD. In the selection of learning media, teachers only choose to use chat applications as learning media. The choice of learning method the teacher only chooses the learning method for students to study individually. The preparation of teacher materials only compiles material in a reading file format, (2) Teacher problems in carrying out learning in preliminary activities, apperception activities, motivating students, and conveying learning objectives are not carried out by teachers in online learning. In the core activity, the teacher did not feel there were any obstacles in delivering the material, applying the method, and using the application. Closing activities, teachers do not carry out activities to conclude learning materials, and (3) Problems in carrying out learning evaluations, namely teachers have difficulty conducting learning assessments because there are still students who do not collect the assignments that have been given. One of the reasons is that the assignments submitted by students are not delivered due to a poor network.

Abstract

This study aims toThis type of research is qualitative research. The techniques used to obtain data in this study were interview techniques and documentation techniques. The techniques used to analyze the data, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study found a shift in naming, namely: (1) Giving names to the age group 50 years and over prioritizes the reasons given the name. The names are identical with names starting with i and some ending in g. Consists of two points, namely the first, based on the meaning which is divided into prayer (hope), the time of birth and cause and effect. The second, based on aids or rules. (2) Giving names to the age group of children is far from the element of bugs. The naming of children is also divided into two points, namely the first, based on the meaning contained in the prayer of hope, the time of birth and the order in the family. The second is based on rules and forms. (3) The shift that occurs in naming from the age of 50 years and over to children has a very large shift. In this village at this time there is no longer any element of nudity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of pappasang, and cultural values contained in the text of marriage advice in District Mappakasunggu Takalar Regency. Based on the semiotics theory of Charles Sanders Peirce.This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, data analysis techniques obtained through documentation methods. There are two main issues examined in the text of marriage advice, namely: first the meaning contained in the text of marriage advice, and the second is what values are contained in the text of marriage advice. The results of this study showed that in terms of the meaning of pappas in the text of marriage advice can be obtained. In terms of the meaning of pappasang is the message of parents first containing instructions, advice, and mandates that must be carried out in order to live a good life. And from that explanation contains icons, indexes, and symbols of instructions on what to do, what to do, what to do, and what not to do. And in terms of the values contained in the text of marriage advice can be obtained values namely, the value of honesty, the value of sirik na pacce, the value of unity and mutual cooperation, the value of effort and hard work.

Abstract

Afiks Derivasi Bahasa Makassar dalam Teks Sinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan afiks derivasi bahasa Makassar dalam teks Sinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif yaitu afiks bahasa Makassar pada naskah Sinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk afiks derivasi bahasa Makassar yang terdapat dalam teks Sinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing, berdasarkan kelas kata yang mengalami proses derivasi sehingga menghasilkan bentuk afiks derivasi. Afiks derivasi merupakan proses pembentukan kata baru yang dapat mengubah identitas bentuk dasarnya, seperti dalam teksSinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing, yaitu: Derivasi verba, yang terdapat dalam teks Sinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing seperti verba ke nomina, terdapat pattamba riolo (awalan) pa- danpattamba riolo riboko (gabungan) aK-+-i. Derivasi nomina, yang terdalat dalam teks Sinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing seperti nomina ke verba, terdapat pattamba riolo aK-, ni-, si-, danpattaba riolo riboko (gabungan) si-+-ang. Dan derivasi adjektiva, yang terdapat dalam teks Sinrilik I Tolok Daeng Magassing seperti adjektiva ke verba, terdapat pattamba riolo (awalan)aK-, ni-, awalan rangkap appka-akhiran rangkap -ang-ang, dan pattamba riolo riboko(gabungan) si-+-i. Dan adjektiva ke nomina, terdapat pattamba riolo (awalan) ak-, danpattamba riolo riboko (gabungan) aK+ang, paK-+-ang, dan paN-+-ang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Kreativitas Kepala Sekolah di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Untuk Meningkatkan Proses Belajar Mengajar Guru SD di Kecamatan Mangarabombang, Kabupaten Takalar. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan usaha yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah SD SD di masa pandemi covid-19 dalam meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar di Kecamatan Mangarabombang, Kabupaten Takalar, 2) Mendeskripsikan proses belajar mengajar di SD kecamatan Mangarabombang, kab. Takalar selama pandemi covid-19, 3) Mendeskripsikan kreativitas kepala sekolah SD sehingga dapat meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar selama masa pandemi covid-19 di Kecamatan Mangarabombang, Kabupaten Takalar Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif, sumber data pada penelitian ini yakni data wawancara informan dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kajian pustaka. Informan dalam penelitian adalah kepala sekolah SDN No. 60 Bontoparang, SDN N0 58 Lengkese, SDN No. 185 Inpres Salambu, SDN No. 179 Inpres Balang, SDN No. 178 Inpres Lamangkia, SDN No.180 Inpres Lakatong Pulau. Teknik penentuan informan dilakukan secara purposive yakni berdasarkan kapasitas yang memberikan kemudahan dan kesediaan dalam wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas kepala sekolah di masa pandemi covid-19 untuk meningkatkan kproses belajar mengajar guru SD di Kecamatan Mangarabombang, Kabupaten Takalar, yakni SDN No. 58 Lengkese Memberikan Surat Tugas Kepada Guru, Melakukan Sosialisasi Kepada Guru dan Siswa Mengenai Aplikasi Pembelajaran oleh SDN No. 179 Inpres Balang dan SDN No. 178 Inpres Lamangkia, SDN No. 60 Bonto Parang dan SDN No. 80 Inpres Lakatong Pulau Melakukan Pembelajaran Udara Melalui Radio, SDN No. 185 Inpres Salambu Melakukan Pembelajaran Luring.
