Abstract

Wujud Kesantunan Berbahasa Mahasiswa dalam Wacana Akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kesantunan berbahasa mahasiswa dalam wacana akademik. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan ancangan teori etnografi komunikasi, teori tindak tutur, dan teori kesantunan berbahasa. Data penelitian terdiri atas data tuturan dan catatan lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik perekaman, observasi, wawancara, dan transkripsi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui empat prosedur utama, yakni: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kesantunan mahasiswa direpresentasikan melalui penggunaan diksi, meliputi (1) penamaan diri, (2) penggunaan kata ganti, dan (3) penggunaan gelar. dan penggunaan tuturan, meliputi: (a) tuturan bermodus deklaratif, (b) tuturan bermodus imperatif, dan (c) tuturan bermodus interogatif.Kata kunci: etnografi komunikasi, kesantunan berbahasa, wacana akademik

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and explain the propriety of speech act in academic interactions. This study includes the type of qualitative research using ethnography of communication design theory, speech act theory, and the theory of linguistic politeness. The research data consists of data conversations and field notes. Data collected through recording techniques, observation, interviews, and transcriptions. Data analysis was carried out through four main procedures, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. Based on data analysis, politeness of speech act are classified into four, namely: (1) civility in act assertively, (2) acts of civility in the directive, (3) civility in commissive act, and (4) civility in expressive acts.

Abstract

Abstract: Every day women are convinced by the myths of beauty that plunge into the cult of beauty. Therefore, this study aims "to describe the forms of narratives on the myth of beauty and the female body and female figures acceptance and resistance against the myth of beauty and the female body. The study design was a qualitative descriptive analysis using a knife Roland Barthes mythology theory and feminism. The data in this study is qualitative data and the data source is the latest Indonesian short stories. Results showed that some of the beauty myth that socialized among sempuna pretty mean physically, symmetrical, sexy, lovable, white, slim body, stylish appearance, flexible and practical. Beauty is based on the research results can become the new oppressors of women. The public has great power over the meaning of women against him. In relation pe-maknaan's, women's position as the object of the oppressed because the meaning itself is largely determined by social significance. The social construction of the meaning of these women will be internalized in the consciousness of women and serve as a standard within the meaning reproducing itself.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the vocabulary that represents the structure of patriarchal ideology in texts found in student textbooks. This is a qualitative descriptive research that critically analyzes the hidden meanings behind texts typically considered natural, using Sylvia Walby's theory of patriarchy. The instrument used in this research is the researcher (human instrument). The data for this research are the content presented in textbooks, with the data source is the Indonesian language textbooks for Grade VII of the 2013 Curriculum published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data presentation method used in this research was the listening method that  using listening free speaking and note-taking techniques. The results of data analysis indicate that there is a significant amount of vocabulary representing the structure of patriarchal ideology. The vocabulary found predominantly illustrates the structure of patriarchal relations in cultural institutions, characterized by the masculinity of men and the femininity of women.

Abstract

Abstrak - Menjadi wirausaha muda merupakan kebanggaan tersediri bagi mahasiswa di tengah persaingan kerja yang semakin kompetitif dan sempitnya lapangan kerja yang tersedia. Berwirausaha perlu dijadikan prioritas utama mahasiswa di samping prioritas keilmuan yang dikuasai dan dikembangkan. Dalam berwirausaha dibutuhkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang inovatif, kreatif dan komprehensif. Berbagai jenis usaha dapat dijadikan pilihan dan alternatif. Berwirausaha juga perlu memperhatikan situasi dan kondisi yang berkembang guna mengantisipasi dan merumuskan strategi usaha yang efektif. PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa membuat Leaflet dalam upaya mempromosikan wirausaha yang akan mereka kembangkan dan jalankan. Hal ini sejalan dengan visi dan misi Universitas Negeri Makassar. PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan membentuk coaching clinic pembuatan leaflet bertema kewirausaan kepada mitra PKM, yaitu Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Daerah (PBSD) FBS UNM dengan menggunakan metode tutorial. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan PKM, di antaranya (1) Mahasiswa PBSD telah mampu membuat Leaflet bertema kewirausahaan dengan tepat serta (2) Mahasiswa PBSD semakin kreatif dalam membuat Leaflet bertema kewirausahaan dengan menggunakan berbagai aplikasi Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Leaflet, Kewirausahaan, Mahasiswa PBSD

Abstract

A heutagogical approach in learning speaking skills that is designed explicitly in accordance with heutagogical principles. A model design with a heutagogical framework integrated with language skills in the speaking skills aspect is taught to students to improve students' learning and learning experiences in speaking skills courses. This type of research carried out developed the DBR (design based research) model or what is better known as design-based research. The data in this research is grouped into two types, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. Specifically, what this article wants to achieve is qualitative data as a form of information related to the heutagogical approach to speaking skills. Based on the research results, it shows that the heutagogical framework in learning and improving student learning outcomes in speaking skills courses refers to identifying the variety/type of speaking skills you want to learn, determining the learning method/process using mobile media and social media. As a conclusion in this research, students are responsible for their own learning and determine and control themselves what they will learn, when and how they will learn, especially by using mobile media or social media.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the main character and the value of character education in the novel Suluh Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This type of research is qualitative. The instrument used in this research is human instrument or the researcher himself. The data collection technique in this research uses note-taking and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data categorisation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that in the novel Suluh Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy there are two main characters, namely Ridho and Syifa. Ridho's character is obedient to worship, loving, disciplined, responsible, and generous. Syifa's character is hardworking, generous, disciplined, devout, and forgiving. Furthermore, in the novel Suluh Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, there are five aspects of character education, namely religion, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity.

Abstract

The aim of implementing this activity is to increase literacy competency and interest for teachers regarding the importance of literacy programs in schools to increase vocational school students' literacy interest. This activity was carried out as a form of concern regarding students' low awareness and interest in literacy. There are 4 stages in this activity, namely in the form of analyzing program implementation needs, developing training materials, implementing training, and evaluating activities. Based on the evaluation results during training and post-mentoring, it can be concluded that literacy strengthening activities for SMKN 4 Jeneponto schools have the potential to increase teachers' literacy understanding and awareness in programming literacy activities in schools. Apart from that, based on the results of the activity evaluation, it can be concluded that there has been a significant increase in the number of literacy programs prepared by the school. Apart from that, teacher involvement in literacy programs has also increased so that schools can program literacy agendas to increase literacy awareness, interest and competence for teachers and students.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal pada tes potensi skolastik (TPS) pada materi ujian literasi bahasa Indonesia (LBI) siswa SMA Negeri 3 Barru dalam rangka persiapan menghadapi seleksi nasional berbasis tes (SNBT) untuk masuk ke perguruan tinggi negeri. Terdapat 4 tahap dalam kegiatan ini, yakni berupa analisis kebutuhan pelaksanaan pelatihan, pengembangan materi pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada saat pelatihan dan pasca pendampingan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan tes bakat skolastik bagi siswa SMA Negeri 3 Barru dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam menyelesaiakan soal tes potensi skolastik khususnya pada materi literasi bahasa Indonesia dengan cepat dan tepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berbicara kritis mahasiswa dalam debat akademis pada perkuliahan keterampilan berbicara. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menganalisis secara kritis penggunaan kalimat mahasiswa dalam debat akademis. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah peneliti (human instrument). Data diperoleh dari hasil mentraskripsikan rekaman debat mahasiswa pada perkuliahan keterampilan berbicara. Metode penyajian data yang digunakan berupa metode simak bebas cakap dan catat. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan berbagai penggunaan kalimat yang merepresentasikan keterampilan berbicara kritis mahasiswa, seperti kemampuan menyusun argumentasi dengan logis dan sistematis, menganalisis dan mengevaluasi informasi secara radikal, serta meyakinkan pendengar dengan data dan detail pendukung lainnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan debat akademis memberikan sumbangsih konkret dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara kritis mahasiswa. Kata kunci: debat akademis, berbicara kritis, dan keterampilan berbicara
