Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are religious institutions that provide education and teaching as well as develop and disseminate Islamic religious knowledge. Learning includes human elements, materials, facilities, equipment and procedures that influence each other to achieve learning objectives, in this case humans involved in the teaching system consist of students, teachers and other personnel, the material includes; books, blackboards and others. Facilities and equipment consist of classrooms and audiovisual (learning media). Procedures include schedules and methods of delivering information, teaching practice, exams and so on. However, the lack of teacher understanding of the procedures and principles of choosing the right media results in the learning media used cannot support the learning process optimally. The steps of assistance in the process of approaching the Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD) method and tools in finding and recognizing assets are Appreciative Discovery, Asset development analysis, Program strategy analysis, Program narrative summary, Program monitoring and evaluation techniques. So it is hoped that Arabic teachers of Nahdlotul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, North Metro, Metro City can develop Arabic Learning Media Based on Technology, Information & Communication (ICT).

Abstract

The development of technology in the last 15 years has developed rapidly, communication is no longer bound by time and space. This phenomenon makes relationships between individuals and groups almost limitless. In line with these developments, there is often unethical behavior that even violates norms - to be fatal to the growth and development of students. The Community Service Team is carried out collaboratively with 3 lecturers in Palembang City, the main focus is to provide information so that students understand every behavior or action carried out categorized as bullying or violence. The goal is that they can be careful in communicating either orally or through media (Instagram, watchApp). The methods provided through lectures, questions and answers and video playbacks, pictures about toxic forms and their impact on psychology.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to assess the level of digital literacy among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Anyer District. Digital literacy has become a crucial aspect in the era of increasing digitalization that dominates the business world. Knowledge and application of digital technology can provide competitive advantages for MSMEs to grow and adapt to the dynamic business environment. The research findings indicate that the majority of MSMEs in the Anyer District have limited levels of digital literacy. While most respondents have internet access, the utilization of digital technology for expanding business networks, product marketing, and financial management remains underutilized. Based on these findings, it is recommended that local government and relevant agencies provide training and guidance programs on digital literacy for MSMEs in the Anyer District..

Abstract

This research aims to assess the significant impact of community empowerment on unleashing the village potential in Ciboleger Village, Banten. Through research methods consisting of appropriate research design, comprehensive data collection, and careful data analysis, we try to understand the impact of empowerment on village potential. The results demonstrate tangible economic improvements, empowerment of women and children, and advancements in tourism development directly resulting from the empowerment program. However, there are still obstacles and challenges such as limited resources and social change that need to be overcome. Effective strategies in improving community empowerment include establishing partnerships with local businesses for skill-building workshops and organizing community skill-sharing sessions to enhance community capacity. Through the implementation of empowerment initiatives in Ciboleger Village via religious, educational, and social programs, significant social transformations are anticipated. The conclusion of this study provides actionable recommendations, such as implementing mentorship programs for sustainable skill development and establishing micro-finance initiatives, to enhance future community empowerment programs.

Abstract

This article discusses the significant public health challenges presented during the sacred ritual of Hajj for Muslims.. In this article, the risk of transmission of infectious diseases during Hajj is discussed due to the density of Jamaah, cultural diversity, and diverse sanitation conditions. Prevention efforts are also emphasized through vaccination, health screening, and education. In addition, mechanisms of detection, investigation, and response to outbreaks of infectious diseases are also discussed. This article highlights the challenges and opportunities in the prevention and management of infectious diseases during Hajj worship. In the face of the outbreak of infectious diseases during Hajj, it is important to have effective mechanisms in detecting, investigating, and responding to cases quickly and accurately. It involves coordination between health officials, Hajj authorities, and related agencies to conduct active surveillance of disease symptoms, conduct laboratory tests, and provide necessary medical treatment. Furthermore, education to the Hajj congregation about the symptoms of the disease and how to report suspicious health conditions is also an important part of the fight against the epidemic.During Hajj, there were a number of challenges to be faced in managing infectious diseases, ranging from high population densities to cultural differences among congregations. However, in the midst of these challenges, there is an opportunity to improve the effectiveness of public health efforts as a whole. With awareness of the risks of infectious diseases, medical and government teams can work together to create more effective and responsive prevention strategies. With good cooperation and proper education, the potential for spreading disease during Hajj can be significantly reduced, ensuring that this sacred worship journey takes place safely and healthy for all congregations

Abstract

Serdang Lor Village, Serang City, Banten, is an example of strong synergy between social and religious figures in improving the quality of education and religion. This research explores their roles and contributions in formulating, implementing, and evaluating such programmes. Data was collected through focus group discussions with community and religious figures, as well as field observations. The findings show that this synergy has improved the quality of education and religion in the village. Serdang Lor Village, Serang City, Banten, is one of the examples of a community that demonstrates strong synergies between public figures and religions in improving the quality of education and religion. This article examines the role and contribution of people and religions in formulating, implementing, and evaluating educational and religious programmes in Serdang Lor Village. Data is collected through focus group discussions with people and religion figures, as well as field observations. The findings of the research show that social and religious figures play an important role in: 1) Identifying the needs of education and religion of communities; 2) Formulating programmes that meet those needs; 3) Motivating and mobilizing communities to participate in such programs; 4) Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of such programmes. The synergy between the social and religious figures has been conclusively effective in enhancing the quality of education and religion in the Serdang Lor Village. Their roles were found to be very significant through studies that involved focus group discussions with the community and religious figures, as well as field observations. They are involved in identifying community needs, formulating appropriate programs, motivating public participation, and regularly monitoring and evaluating the programs. This collaboration not only improved children's interest in learning and community participation, but also strengthened religious understanding and gotong royong spirit. The effectiveness of this synergy is based on public beliefs, effective communication, and the high commitment of both public and religious figures involved.

Abstract

The Pecarikan Village is a real example of a village with a variety of social problems such as unruly garbage disposal and a low level of education. The study aims to analyze the social challenges in Kampung Pecarikan and explore initiatives for community empowerment through positive activities. Through qualitative methods, the researchers found that activities such as gotong royong, Masar, joint studies, and religious activities have had a positive impact. It is seen in the rise of gotong royong spirit, awareness of education and health, as well as harmonious inter-citizenship relations. Pecarikan Village, located in Cokopsulanjana Village, Kurung Waringin, Serang District, Banten, is characterized by multiple social issues including improper waste disposal, inadequate education, and limited access to clean water. The research aimed to analyze the social challenges in the village and investigate initiatives for community empowerment through positive activities. Research methods involve observations, interviews, and FGD. Activities like gotong royong, Masar, collaborative studies, posyandu sessions, religious practices, and community bonding events have significantly boosted the spirit of cooperation, raised awareness about education and health, and fostered harmonious community relationships.

Abstract

PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI), a subsidiary of PT PL N (Persero), has implemented a perah goat farming programme aimed at empowering rural communities in Berdaya Energi Village, located in Gunung Kidul region, Indonesia. The programme also aims to promote sustainable development in the region by empowering rural communities and improving environmental sustainability. This article will outline a case study of the program, focusing on its implementation strategies, socio-economic and environmental impacts, and future sustainability prospects. The programme is fully in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, which emphasize the importance of poverty eradication, food sustainability, environmental protection, and empowerment of communities as key components. By involving goat farms, the programme is expected to provide long-term benefits to rural communities, improve their standard of living, and create a more holistically sustainable environment. PLN EPI, a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero), has implemented a parrot goat farm program in Berdaya Energi Village, Gunung Kidul, Indonesia. It is part of the company's commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development. The programme aims to empower rural communities and promote sustainable development. This article presents a case study of the program implementation strategy, the socio-economic and environmental impact it generates, as well as its sustainability prospects. The programme is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on poverty eradication, food sustainability, environmental protection, and empowerment of communities.

Abstract

The conventional textile industry produces significant waste and has a negative impact on the environment. The PESONA SUBANG program in Cikadu Village, Indonesia, offers an innovative solution by turning pineapple leaf waste into sustainable eco-fashion products. This case study explores this program, focusing on aspects. Pineapple leaf waste recovery: This program utilizes previously disposed pineapples leaf wastes as textile fiber raw materials. Empowerment of communities: The program empowers local communities by providing training in sustainable practices, creating job opportunities in fiber processing, and supporting the production of eco-fashion products. Environmental impact: The program reduces environmental impact by upcycling pineapple leaf waste into valuable fibers, decreasing carbon emissions, and fostering sustainable textile production. This case study shows that the SUBANG PESONA Program is a successful example of turning waste into a value-added product with economic and environmental benefits. The program's replicability lies in its ability to transform waste into valuable resources, benefiting both the environment and local communities. By adopting similar initiatives, other regions can improve textile industry sustainability and community empowerment.
