Abstract

The port is an important means for sea transportation that makes the distance achieved will feel closer or faster, especially for the developing regional economic sector because the center of goods production can be marketed smoothly. The high productivity of the port shows that the port has provided and is seeking decent service. Corona Virus Disease 2019 or better known as Covid-19 in December 2019, and spread to Indonesia in March 2020. The sea transportation sector received a major impact from the reduction in community activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The main activities of ports that support world trade must be continue to run safely during the Covid-19 pandemic, which of course requires policies to deal with this situation. The loading and unloading performance can be affected by bad weather and obstacles that have an impact on obstacles, in this case the Covid-19 pandemic is one of the influential factors in developing activities at ports. Research purposes is to determine the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the productivity of loading and unloading at BUP PT. DABN Probolinggo branch. Descriptive qualitative research, the approach used in writing this final project is a field research approach. The effect of Covid-19 on loading and unloading productivity at BUP PT. DABN Probolinggo Branch before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, obtaining Covid-19 results only affected the process before the ship docked at the port, namely additional health checks on the crew regarding indications of exposure to the Covid-19 virus. Meanwhile, in terms of loading and unloading productivity, based on data obtained, the difference in the number of shiploads before and during the pandemic there was an increase in the number of 72 ships docked (an increase of 0.11%) and the difference in the number of cargoes increased by 98,260 tons (an increase of 0.062%). Covid-19 only has an impact on additional procedures carried out before the ship docks at the port, namely the port health officer is obliged to check the health of the ship for any indications of the Covid-19 virus on the crew.

Abstract

PT. Nilam Port Terminal Indonesia is a multipurpose port that provides container loading and unloading terminal operator services at the port. A fire in a container terminal can cause a lot of losses because it affects the value of assets, work processes and high job opportunities. One of the efforts to reduce the risk and impact of fires is the existence of an emergency response system. One of the efforts to reduce the risk and impact caused by fire requires the application of a good and correct emergency response system in accordance with applicable regulations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of an emergency response system in an effort to prevent and control fire disasters at the container terminal of PT. Nilam Port Terminal Indonesia. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, and uses primary data sources obtained from sources and secondary data obtained from documents containing descriptive facts through interviews and field observations. This research was conducted directly at PT. Nilam Port Terminal Indonesia. In this research, we will describe how the implementation of the fire emergency response system in PT. Nilam Port Terminal Indonesia. The results of this analysis can be concluded that PT. Nilam Port Terminal Indonesia has implemented a fire emergency response system in accordance with applicable regulations, but there are several implementations that are not yet optimal, such as improper placement and maintenance of fire extinguishers, workers' awareness of fire hazards, and less fire emergency response training.

Abstract

A container depot is a place for storing empty containers or containers, a place for cleaning, repairing containers and a place for conducting container surveys when containers enter or leave. The purpose of this study was to determine the flow of empty container activities in the smooth export and import at the depot of PT. Citra Prima Container Surabaya. The method used to determine the flow of empty container activities in the smooth export and import at the depot of PT. Citra Prima Container Surabaya is a qualitative method, namely interviews with the Depo Container workers, observation, and documentation. The research results obtained, namely, the importance of cooperation and coordination between the field and the office. When there is a traffic jam on Kalmar's equipment in the container block which is usually for stacking at the depot and unloading, then coordination needs to be optimized between foreman, crane, and security to reduce congestion. The importance of classifying Grade Container with the aim of simplifying the work of employees.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that affect the compliance of corporate taxpayers who make tax payments. This study focuses on corporate taxpayers. The independent variables used in this study are Tax Knowledge, Tax Awareness and Tax Sanctions, while the dependent variable in this study is Taxpayer Compliance. The sample used in this study is an individual taxpayer who conducts business activities in the Surabaya area. The method used in this research is purposive sampling method. Respondents obtained in this study were 40 respondents who met the criteria and filled out the questionnaire correctly. Questionnaires are used in measuring validity and reliability testing to measure whether a questionnaire is valid and reliable. Then the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test of multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, and normality test, as well as using multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, F test and t test. The results of this study are the variable knowledge of taxation and tax sanctions affect the compliance of individual taxpayers who carry out business activities. While the tax awareness variable has no effect on tax compliance. This shows that although respondents are obedient in paying taxes, respondents still have a low level of awareness.

Abstract

The best service form given the tematline that the company really appreciate the time owned by its customers. Therefore the Temasline’s commitment in terms of time on time is the added value that must be given to its customers. The sample in this study is a user service unloading service unloading at PT. Temas Shipping with quantitative research type and use descriptive approach. Using purposive sampling sampling method. The number of respondents participating in this study were 30 people. Methods and analysis using simple linear regression analysis to test the hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed an influence between service quality to satisfaction with the SIG level. 0.000 which <α (0.05) and r count = 13,5050 r table = 1.697. Correlation analysis shows the relationship of ministry positive effect on the user satisfaction with the SIG. 0.000 (<0.05) Rcount = 0,931 > R table = 0,931> R table = 0,391. After finding, the relation of strong relation of the relationship. Pearson Correlation value shows 0.931 means the relationship is very strong. Presentase influence of all independent variables on the dependent variable is 0.868. Meaning 86.8% Satisfaction of service users can be explained by the quality of service quality. While the remaining variables 13.2% influenced by other factors not studied in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of ability, learning motivation and school environment on student achievement at SMPN 17 Banjarmasin. The research method used is analytic survey. The type of research is explanatory research. The sample was 75 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation, interviews and observations. Validity and reliability tests were carried out on the research instrument. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the ability of teachers, students' learning motivation and the school environment partially and simultaneously had a significant effect on student achievement at SMPN 17 Banjarmasin. The contribution of the independent variable's influence on the ability of teachers, students' learning motivation and the school environment on learning achievement is 64.50%. Of the three independent variables, the school environment has a dominant influence on student achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy, self-esteem, and work stress on the performance of employees of Muara Teweh Community Health Center, North Barito Regency simultaneously, partially, and dominantly. The research method used is an analytical survey. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study was 56 people in 2021. The sample in this study used a total sampling technique, namely 56 employees of ASN Puskesmas Muara Teweh, Barito Utara Regency in 2021. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation, interviews, and observations. Validity and reliability tests were carried out on the research instrument. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis with a classical assumption test. The results showed that self-efficacy, self-esteem, and work stress simultaneously had a significant effect on the performance of the employees of Muara Teweh Community Health Center, North Barito Regency. Self-efficacy, self-esteem, and work stress have a partially significant effect on the performance of employees of the Muara Teweh Community Health Center, North Barito Regency. Self-efficacy has a significant dominant effect on the performance of the employees of the Muara Teweh Community Health Center, North Barito Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process flow in the validation of Account Receivable & Payable documents from the beginning of the document coming to billing to the vendor at the Inland Service Department (ISD) PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Surabaya, to find out the things that affect the process of document validation until returning to the branch in implementing shipping logistics. Factors in dealing with document validation problems in the Inland Service Department (ISD) PT. SPIL Surabaya. As well as about handling the problem of incomplete documents and the impact of this happening. The method used in this research is descriptive, where this research refers to problem-solving in a field. The data source used to determine the work process of validating Account Receivable & Payable documents in the Inland Service Department (ISD) is to check documents that come from the branch to proceed to vendor billing, and direct observation. The results of research related to the implementation of the Inland Service Department, officers already have knowledge and skills in dealing with news document validation issues, in carrying out document control that will be sent to the head office at PT. SPIL Surabaya has carried out its duties, responsibilities, and understanding related to the SOP for sending documents well.

Abstract

The research location at PT. Berlian Manyar Sejahtera as the Operator of the JIIPE Manyar Gresik by using the independent variable Berthing Time (the first time the ship starts tying the rope to untie the rope at the mooring) with the dependent variable is the loading and unloading service performance. The population in this study were employees of the operational division at the Port of JIIPE (Java Integrated Industrial Port Estate) PT. Manyar Prosperous Diamonds. While the samples (informants) used by this researcher are ship foremen and checkers. The results showed that the average working time of ships at moorings (ET:BT) was 53.19%, still below the standard specified in the Decree of the Director General of Sea Transportation Number: UM.002/38/18/DJPL-2011, which is 70 %, in fact, none of them reached 90% of the specified standard, while the average time for loading and unloading service productivity performance (T/G/J) reached 153.23 T/G/J, above the standard specified in the Decree of the Director General Sea Transportation No.: UM.002/38/18/DJPL-2011 which is 125 T/G/J although there are some activities that are still below standard. From the results of observations and interviews with the company, it can be concluded that the main factor causing the non-achievement of the berthing time performance standard above is the level of Effective Time caused by the high level of Idle Time and Not Operation Time. For performance standards of loading and unloading service productivity (T/G/J), the cause of not achieving performance standards is due to loading and unloading support factors.

Abstract

The management of Human Resources manning the ship which is handled by the manning division, optimization in sea transportation is very important to be done to be more effective, one of which is in terms of changing the crew of the ship, the change of the crew of the ship must be in accordance with the replacement plan that has been prepared by the manning division so that The change goes according to the Sea Work Agreement. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Sources of research data were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of research data was carried out by qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that there is a discrepancy in the planned change of ship crew because the company only has trust in the Ex-crew as a replacement ship crew. Ex-crew who had planned to board the ship could not keep their promise to return to the company, so the manning division had to find a new crew, if no new crew recruitment was carried out it would result in a lack of stand-by crew provided by the company causing delays in changing crew sign on /off and crew on board. so that the ship crew must increase the contract period of the Sea Work Agreement until the specified time. Therefore, the contract period for the ship crew on board must be in accordance with the agreement written in the Sea Work Agreement.
