Abstract

Import activity is the activity of entering goods from the country of origin to the country of destination. The smoothness of the import process can be seen from the handling procedures carried out by the customs service management company so that the cargo can enter the customs area without any obstacles that occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the procedure for handling imports of soybean meal cargo by the customs service company PT. Esa Zone Express Surabaya. In writing this final project, research was conducted using a qualitative approach through direct observation at PT. Esa Zona Express Surabaya. The results obtained in this study are that the analysis for handling imports of soybean meal by the customs service company PT. Esa Zona Express Surabaya, in its implementation, has been running effectively by the procedures.

Abstract

The duties and responsibilities of a harbormaster are very important in providing a ship's seaworthiness certificate, sailing permit, safety, and security as well as all shipping activities in Indonesian waters. This study aims to find out and reveal the function of the postmaster in supervising the safety and security of shipping in Labuan Bajo against the porter's duties in Law No. 17 of 2008 concerning Shipping and to find out the factors that influence the function of the harbormaster in supervising the safety and security of tourist ships in Labuan Bajo. The data collection used is one of the important factors in determining the success or failure of a study selecting data, it must be considered its suitability with the type of data, and in this study collecting data using observation, documentation, and interview methods. The results of this study can be concluded that the Office of Harbormaster and Port Authority of Labuan Bajo has carried out its duties and roles in carrying out the supervisory function of the safety and security of sailing ships entering or leaving the port of Labuan Bajo. Some tasks were not carried out due to the lack of companies engaged in shipping in Labuan Bajo so the supervisory function of the harbormaster was not carried out by Law Number 17 of 2008 concerning Shipping.

Abstract

Profitability is the company's ability to generate profits. There are several factors that affect the company's profitability, namely Liquidity, Leverage and Company Size. Based on this premise, this study aims to determine the effect of Liquidity, Leverage and Company Size on the Profitability of Healthcare Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This type of research is explanatory research which explains the causal relationship between the intermediate variables through hypothesis testing. The population of this study are all health companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2021. Sampling using purposive sampling technique in order to obtain 12 companies. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression test using SPSS. From the results of this test, it can be concluded that liquidity has a significant positive effect on company profitability. Leverage has a significant negative effect on the profitability of health companies. Company size has a significant positive effect on the profitability of health companies. Liquidity, Leverage, Company Size jointly affect the profitability of Healthcare companies.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the intent and purpose of knowing the role and performance of TKBM at PT. Bandar Krida Jala Patimban for loading and unloading at Patimban Port, Subang. In this study the research design uses a qualitative approach by processing data from interviews with influential people in the company. In order to mobilize and group human resources, one must know what cargo will be unloaded. This is where port operations can mobilize human resources. Because loading and unloading management is an attempt to achieve the goal of loading and unloading performance and human resources play an important role at the port, and from there management plays an important role in carrying out loading and unloading activities. PT. Bandar Krida Jala (BKJL) Patimban, as the executor of loading and unloading activities for Completely Built Up (CBU) vehicle units or vehicles sent as a whole, both Passenger Cars, Trucks, High & Heavy Equipment. The researcher analyzed the relationship between the role of loading and unloading workers (TKBM) and loading and unloading performance based on data obtained from observations, documentation and interview results from informants, the greater the factors that influence TKBM, the more it will affect the performance of loading and unloading activities. The better the role of TKBM, the better its performance in the process of loading and unloading activities, and vice versa. In this case, the company is also affected due to the unfavorable loading and unloading workforce.

Abstract

The Indonesian sea transportation industry is a growing industry, getting smarter, price conscious, and competitive. This competitive competition is experienced not only with domestic sea transportation but also with international sea transportation. This study examines the effect of ticket prices and services on the decision to use passenger ships at PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia Surabaya branch, the object of this research is PT. Pelni Surabaya Branch. The research population is all passengers on the Pelni ship. The number of samples drawn using the iteration formula is 116 people and this study uses quantitative methods and multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study stated that the ticket price partially had a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the passenger ship PT. Pelni. This can be proven by the results of tcount of 10.795 > from ttable = 1.981 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, the service partially has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the passenger ship PT. Pelni. This can be proven by the results of tcount of 2,323 which is greater than ttable = 1,981 with a significance level of 0.022 < 0.05 that prices and services have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the passenger ship PT. Pelni. This is evidenced by the significant value of F count 102,917 which is greater than F table of 3.08 and the significance level of 0.000 is less than 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and partially analyze the effect of Physical Work Environment on Non-Physical Work Environment on the Performance of Handira Syariah Primary Clinic, Banjarbaru City. The type of research used in this research is correlational research with quantitative methods, namely research conducted by collecting data to find out whether there is a relationship between the variables of the Physical Work Environment and Non-Physical Work Environment on the Performance of the Pratama Syariah Handira Clinic in Banjarbaru City. The population of this study were all employees of the Pratama Syariah Handira Clinic, Banjarbaru City, totaling 35 people. The sampling method used in this study is the census method. choosing the census method, where all 35 employees of the Pratama Syariah Handira Clinic, Banjarbaru City, were used as samples. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, interviews and observation. Validity and reliability tests were carried out on research instruments. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis with the classical assumption test. The results showed that the physical work environment and non-physical work environment partially had a significant effect on the Employee Performance of the Pratama Syariah Handira Clinic, Banjarbaru City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect partially and simultaneously on reward and employee commitment variables on job satisfaction at Montana Syariah Hotel Banjarbaru. The type of research used in this research is correlational research with quantitative methods, namely research conducted by collecting data to find out whether there is a relationship between reward variables and employee commitment to job satisfaction at Montana Syariah Hotel Banjarbaru. The population of this study were all 47 employees of Montana Syariah Hotel Banjarbaru. In this study, researchers used a saturated sample, where all 47 employees were used as samples. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, interviews, and observation. Validity and reliability tests were carried out on research instruments. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis with the classical assumption test. The results of the study show that rewards and employee commitment simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on job satisfaction of the employees of Hotel Montana Syariah Banjarbaru. Rewards have a dominant influence on job satisfaction of Hotel Montana Syariah Banjarbaru employees.

Abstract

This research entitled "Analysis of Stuffing In Inhibiting Factors for Smooth Loading of Goods at the Container Depot at PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to find out the inhibition of stuffing in and the inhibition of the loading process on board and the efforts to improve PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Surabaya. This research was conducted at PT. Surabaya National Airport Facilities. in May 2022. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, interview and documentation methods. From the results of the interview observation method, and the documentation shows that the stuffing-in inhibition is due to delays in starting work due to the customer/EMKL management coming late to the depot, natural factors due to rainy weather which can inhibit or delay stuffing-in activities, the stuffing-in block experiences crowds or density and less the area of the stacking yard thus hindering customers or other EMKL administrators from carrying out stuffing-in activities and the lack of available stock of available containers in the Stuffing In block, there are damaged containers and limited stock of available containers.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the standard truck round time (TRT) service time in improving receiving performance, identify the causes and impacts of TRT exceeding the standard set time. The research design used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Sources of data in this study are divided into primary data sources obtained from interviews, observations and literature studies and documentation of printed books, and journals . The result of this research is that the service quality at PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya is good because the dominant number of trucks on TRT is less than 30 minutes, although it can be indicated that there is a decrease in performance. This decline in performance is demonstrated by an increase in the number of trucks from 2019 to 2022 on TRT for more than 30 minutes. The causes of the TRT that exceeds the standard determination time are the density factor in the stacking field, the equipment factor, the human resource factor and the natural factor. The negative impact of TRT that exceeds the standard setting time is the disruption of loading and unloading activities, internal company losses and decreased customer loyalty. Suggestions that can be used in overcoming the TRT (Truck Round Time) problem are that good coordination is needed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), improvisation from both human resources, systems and equipment as well as yard planners carrying out various plan innovations by shortening slots so that RTG movements are not too displacement length.

Abstract

Service is a person's or agency's business that aims to serve the needs of service users. Service is a very important element in an effort to increase satisfaction for service users. This study aims to determine the effect of passenger service quality on passenger satisfaction partially at the port of Yos Soedarso Tual Maluku. This research is included in the category of research that uses a quantitative approach. The population is 30 port service users, Yos Soedarso Tual Maluku, while the number of samples is the same as the population. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, while data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between the quality of passenger service on satisfaction, it is shown from: 1). The results of the t-test at a constant of 0.485 with a significance of 0.632. 2). There is a significant influence between service effectiveness. The results of the t-test of 11.554 with a significance of 0.000. 3). There is a significant influence between passenger service partially on passenger satisfaction and the regression equation Y = 1.251 + 0.909 X
