Upbringing is the way families interact with children consistently over time. In applying parenting, parents often have limitations in providing it which causes negative impacts on children such as falling into early marriage. In Legok Village, which still has a society that still holds firm to traditional and religious values, parents apply upbringing by approving their children to practice early marriage on the grounds that they want to avoid children from committing adultery. This study aims to obtain an empirical description of the characteristics of informants, the application of aspects of control, communication, and family assistance to children. This research design is qualitative research with the type of intrinsic case study and the determination of informants through the purposive method. The main informants in this study are four parents from families who have early married children and early married children. Data collection techniques were conducted using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the application of control, communication, and mentoring is still not optimal because parents are busy working outside the home until late at night so they do not have enough time to supervise and assist children in carrying out their daily lives. Based on these issues, researchers propose a program to address the problem at hand asa preventive measure to reduce the number of premature marriages and the risk involved in early marriage, which is "An Early Marriage Prevention Program in the Village of Legok District Lohbener, Indramayu." Abstract

Handling the issue of stunting is one of the national strategic issues in Indonesia. The stunting rate in Kabupaten Garut in 2023rd was 21.3%, with a target reduction to below 14%. In 2018th Desa Sukarasa was categorized as one of the 20 villages with the highest stunting rates, referred to as stunting focus locations. However, in 2022nd Desa Sukarasa successfully exited the status of a stunting focus location because of efforts the Pemberdayaan dan Kesejaheraan Keluarga (PKK) Cadres in utilizing interaction and collaboration with their social networks as a component of bridging social capital. This study examines the interactions, which consist of information exchange, communication media, and cooperation and collaborations established by the PKK Cadres with their social networks. This research employs a qualitative method, with data collection through in-depth interviews, focus group discussion (FGD), and documentation studies. The results show that the interaction between the PKK Cadres and their social networks involves exchanging information about stunting, using direct communication media, and leveraging technological advancements. Additionally, cooperation and collaboration have been established to organize programs and activities to reduce the percentage of stunting in Desa Sukarasa. The outcomes of these interactions and collaborations include increased knowledge and expand access to asset ownership for the PKK, which successfully removed Desa Sukarasa from the stunting focus locations status. However, in terms of networking capabilities, the PKK Cadres have not fully maximized building social networks outside the government's health sector

Abstract

The implementation of the Child-Friendly District (KLA) Program is a strategic initiative by the government to ensure the fulfillment of children's rights in a safe and supportive environment. Belitung District, despite achieving the Madya level KLA status in 2023, still faces several issues related to violations of children's rights. This study aims to provide an in-depth overview of the implementation of the KLA Program in Belitung District, focusing on the aspects of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Purposive sampling techniques were used to select informants, including technical program implementers from district to village levels and relevant program beneficiaries. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, document studies, and focus group discussions (FGDs).The results of the study indicate that the communication aspect is still suboptimal, particularly in the socialization of the program to implementers at sub-district and village levels. The resource aspect also requires improvement, as there are still implementers who lack understanding of KLA indicators, shortages of facilities and infrastructure, limited coordination among implementers, and insufficient program funding. The bureaucratic structure aspect reveals that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for program implementation are not yet fully understood by all implementers. Based on these findings, this study proposes a program called "Capacity Building for KLA Program Implementers Through Time to Sharing for KLA" to address the identified challenges.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) aims to improve the welfare of poor families through cash assistance with certain conditions. However, the success of this program doesn’t depend on the financial aid itself, but also on the role of social facilitator in empowering the beneficiary families to be economically independent. This study aims to obtain an overview of the role of social facilitator in building the economic independence of the beneficiary Family Hope Program in Kebon Jayanti Village which consists of facilitation, education, representation, and technical roles. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected using purposive sampling so that 13 informants were netted from the person in charge of PKH, Kebon Jayanti Village officials, PKH external parties, and the beneficiary family of PKH. The source of the data came from primary and secondary data with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. This research found that there are obstacles in the implementation of assistance, namely the absence of resource mapping and the lack of access of social facilitator to networks in Bandung City that can be utilized by KPM PKH in building economic independence.
