This writing skill is very necessary for students, because in writing activities students can develop intelligence, and writing also encourages habits as well as fostering the ability to find, collect, and organize information. The formulation of the research problem is whether there is an effect of the relay writing method on the narrative writing skills of grade III students of SDN Balonggarut? How much influence does the relay writing method have on the writing skills of grade III students of SDN Balonggarut? This type of research is quantitative using saturated sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the relay writing method on the narrative essay writing skills of students of SDN Balonggarut proven by testing using SPSS 18 with a t count of 2.492 while the t tabel with t is 0.05 of 1.813 and the relay writing method has a major influence on skills. writing narrative essays for third grade students of SDN Balonggarut as proven by the calculation of eta squared with the results of 0.383> 0.14 can be said to have a big effect.

This research was motivated by the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic, which required educational institutions to organize online learning processes. Muhammadiyah 3 Waru Middle School Sidoarjo initially held face-to-face Al-Quran learning in class, but since the implementation of online learning, Muhammadiyah 3 Waru Middle School uses Zoom as an online learning platform. Over time, there were many shortcomings in the Zoom platform such as pay, limited time and number of users, so SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Waru switched to the Google Meet platform. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning the Koran by using Google Meet online media in improving the quality of reading the Koran for students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Waru, Sidoarjo. This study uses a Quantitative Experimental research method. The data taken by the researcher is in the form of numbers that will be tested through the SPSS program. The data collection technique used in this research is to collect data in the form of student learning outcomes before using Google Meet media or when face to face and after using Google Meet Media. The data analysis uses the t test test in the SPSS program to determine whether there is a significant change in learning the Koran using Google Meet media. The results of this study indicate that learning the Koran with Google Meet media is not effective. It was found that there was a decrease in student scores during the pretest and posttest. From the decrease in the results of this score, it has shown a benchmark for whether or not Google Meet media is effective in learning the Koran

The purpose of this study was to analyze the science process skills of grade 5 SDN Karangpuri 1 students based on the high, medium and low abilities of students in the science of animal movement organs during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using tests, interviews and documentation. The research was carried out at SDN Karangpuri 1 for 5th grade students. The subjects of this study were 3 students representing high, medium and low ability students. The results of data analysis show that, in online learning, the three students who represent the categories of high, medium and low ability students have science process skills in themselves, but need to be improved again because there are several aspects of science process skills that students lack. Self-Adjustment of New Santri Pondok Pesantren in Terms of Self-regulation and Self-acceptance: Penyesuaian Diri Santri Baru Pondok Pesantren Ditinjau dari Regulasi Diri dan Penerimaan Diri Maula, Atiqo; Affandi, Ghozali Rusyid

This research is motivated by the existence of a phenomenon that has problems related to the inability to adjust to the new students of the Roudhotul Mutaallimat Islamic Boarding School, Jabon Porong Sidoarjo, which is characterized by these students whining to their parents to go home, not obeying the rules in the Islamic boarding school, even until ran away from the boarding school because the santri did not feel at home in the boarding school, this data was obtained by researchers through interviews and observations in the boarding school environment. This study aims to determine the Self-Adjustment of New Santri Pondok Pesantren Roudhotul Mutaallimat Jabon Porong in terms of self-regulation and self-acceptance. The sample in this study were 79 new students. The sampling technique was carried out by saturated sampling. The data collection in this study used three psychological scales with a Likert scale model, namely the self-adjustment scale, self-regulation scale and self-acceptance scale. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression correlation statistical test techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between self-regulation and self-acceptance with adjustment to new students at the Roudhotul Mutaallimat Islamic Boarding School, Jabon Porong, with a correlation coefficient of 0.363 for self-regulation and 0.540 for self-acceptance with each significance of 0.001 > 0.05. The determinant coefficient test also shows a result of 0.300 (R square) which explains that this research variable self-regulation and self-acceptance has an effective effect of 30% on self-adjustment. The test results indicate that the hypothesis can be accepted.

This article aims to determine the application of the Tabarak method in learning maharah istima' at level 7 during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Markaz al-Firdaus International Foundation in Sidoarjo Temple. This research uses a case study approach in which data is obtained from a detailed study of a single background, single subject, or particular event. The results showed that the implementation of the Tabarak method in learning maharah istima' at level 7 during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Markaz al-Firdaus International Foundation in Sidoarjo Temple continued using Zoom, WA and Google Form media.

Education is a process of forming individuals who are not only cognitively, scientifically and philosophically intelligent but also able to develop their social and spiritual attitudes. The phenomenon that occurs is that the whole world is being hit by the COVID-19 outbreak, this causes students to study at home. The teacher does not use the pandemic as an excuse that hinders the process of strengthening the religious character of students. The purpose of this study is to describe how the teacher's efforts in strengthening religious character during the COVID-19 pandemic in grade 1 students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krembung. This research approach is descriptive qualitative with phenomenological research type. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's efforts in strengthening the religious character of grade 1 students during the pandemic are carried out through 2 stages: 1) The planning stage includes integrating religious characters in the lesson plans, compiling indicators of religious character; 2) The implementation phase includes habituation of school culture such as praying before and after starting learning, praying dhuha at home, memorizing short letters, reading daily prayers, and helping parents at home.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the importance of strengthening classroom-based character education for elementary school students in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the Covid-19 pandemic, students not only completed learning competencies based on KD (Basic Competencies), but strengthening class-based character education was needed in online learning activities. The application of strengthening class-based character education in the online learning process can be carried out in a persuasive manner. One of the elementary schools that implemented online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic, namely SDN Sidokumpul, Sidoarjo Regency. In addition, SDN Sidokumpul is an elementary school that implements strengthening class-based character education. The results showed that the implementation of strengthening class-based character education during online learning conditions at SD Negeri Sidokumpul Sidoarjo was carried out by analyzing the characteristics of basic competencies, integrating character values into learning, implementing learning, conducting assessments and evaluating learning. Obstacles when implementing strengthening classroom-based character education during online learning conditions are the teacher cannot apply character values directly in the classroom, the application of character values is carried out persuasively, and teachers cannot assess student character directly, observe and assessing the integration of character values due to online learning conditions. The next solution is to require students to send photos of the implementation of the application of character values at home, require parents to accompany their children to study, and communicate with parents to be able to assess the application of character values. The benefits of this research are expected to provide theoretical input regarding the implementation of a class-based character education strengthening program in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools, this is regarding the learning process carried out by students at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the interviews and data that the researchers conducted it can be seen that many students have difficulty understanding the mathematics material presented by the teacher, besides that student lack self-confidence in learning mathematics. Therefore this research was conducted aiming to increase students confidence in learning mathematics by using the everyone is a teacher here strategy. This research uses the Pre-Experimental Design (nondesign) research method. With the design of Intact-Group Comparison reseachers. In this study, researchers used a questionnaire post to determine students confidence in learning mathematics using the everyone is a teacher here strategy. The questionnaire used amounted to 12 statements. The sample used was 2 classes, namely class IV-C as a control class with 30 students and class IV-D as an experimental class with 30 students. Data analysis using the independent sample Test t test and Eta Square test. t arithmetic (12.976)>t table (58;0.05) is 2.002, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, the two classes have different levels of confidence. In other words, there is an influence in learning strategy everyone is a teacher here on students confidence in learning fourth grade mathematics at Pagerwojo Elementary School. And in the eta square test the researchers conclude this research has a very big effect because it shows 1,000 result, if the dependent strategy shows results less than 0.06 then the research shows there is little effect whereas if the results show 0.06-0.14 then the level of influence is moderate, and if it shows results more than 0.14, it has a big effect. So with this research the Effect of the Everyone is a Teacher Here Strategy on Students Confidence in Learning Math Grade IV at Pagerwojo Elementary School, has great influence.

Development of Microsoft Power Point Based Educational Game in Vocabulary Learning in Elementary School: Pengembangan Game Edukatif Berbasis Microsoft Power Point dalam Pembelajaran Kosa Kata di Sekolah Dasar Chotimah, Chusnul; Hikmah, Khizanatul

This article aims to determine the development of Microsoft Power Point-based educational games in vocabulary learning at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo and to determine student responses to this educational game. The research approach used by researchers is development research because it makes a product that can help learning. The results showed that, 1) It is known how to develop this educational game, namely by finding problems in the field, collecting data, designing products, design validation, design revisions, product trials, limited trials, product revisions, and game distribution for all class students. 5. 2) From the experimental results of distributing games to 5 respondents, it is known that games are interesting and able to overcome the needs of learning Arabic vocabulary by obtaining 4.97 results on the Linkert Scale interval which means that they agree with Microsoft Power Point-based games. And when it was distributed to class 5, it was found that the respondent's results scored 4.94, which means that they strongly agree with the existence of educational games based on Microsoft Power Point. As for the results of the quizzioner distributed to grade 5 students, it is also known that the answers strongly agree with the existence of educational games based on Microsoft Power Point by 83%, agree 17%, and the answers disagree 0%. From these results, the researcher was able to draw the conclusion that educational games are a new tool for learning Arabic vocabulary for grade 5 at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo, have an attractive appearance, and are able to increase students' enthusiasm when learning Arabic vocabulary, and overcome the needs of students. Arabic vocabulary learning, and easy to use.

This article aims to determine the process of using the Direct Method for learning Maharah Kalam at Ma'had Umar bin Khattab Sidoarjo, in the Tamhidi class. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach in which the data are in the form of words or sentences obtained from informants or research subjects. The results showed that the use of the direct method for learning Maharah Kalam at Ma'had Umar bin Khattab Sidoarjo, in the Tamhidi class was still in the business stage, so the learning process had not fully used Arabic.
