Abstract

After the independence of our country, the interest in teaching foreign languages has increased and many opportunities have been created for young people. New methods and requirements for foreign language teaching in the country have been developed in accordance with the Recommendations of the European Framework for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills of Foreign Language Teachers (CEFR). According to him, textbooks have been created for students of secondary schools and vocational colleges. In accordance with these requirements, classrooms are equipped with stands and new information and communication technologies. This article highlights the importance given to foreign languages in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the innovative technologies needed to study them.

Abstract

Abstract

This article is dedicated to the effectiveness of the introduction of various methods and techniques based on the content for the development of students' language skills in practice. Modern methodology requires foreign language teachers to implement all language skills in one lesson. The ability to speak, listen and understand authentic material in English, as well as reading and writing skills should be taught in an integrated form; once available, it can be a difficult process for the teacher and students. But with the help of various innovative, interactive methods, technologies, this task can be done. In addition, the creativity of students is very important for language learning.

Abstract

This writing skill is very necessary for students, because in writing activities students can develop intelligence, and writing also encourages habits as well as fostering the ability to find, collect, and organize information. The formulation of the research problem is whether there is an effect of the relay writing method on the narrative writing skills of grade III students of SDN Balonggarut? How much influence does the relay writing method have on the writing skills of grade III students of SDN Balonggarut? This type of research is quantitative using saturated sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the relay writing method on the narrative essay writing skills of students of SDN Balonggarut proven by testing using SPSS 18 with a t count of 2.492 while the t tabel with t is 0.05 of 1.813 and the relay writing method has a major influence on skills. writing narrative essays for third grade students of SDN Balonggarut as proven by the calculation of eta squared with the results of 0.383> 0.14 can be said to have a big effect.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic, which required educational institutions to organize online learning processes. Muhammadiyah 3 Waru Middle School Sidoarjo initially held face-to-face Al-Quran learning in class, but since the implementation of online learning, Muhammadiyah 3 Waru Middle School uses Zoom as an online learning platform. Over time, there were many shortcomings in the Zoom platform such as pay, limited time and number of users, so SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Waru switched to the Google Meet platform. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning the Koran by using Google Meet online media in improving the quality of reading the Koran for students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Waru, Sidoarjo. This study uses a Quantitative Experimental research method. The data taken by the researcher is in the form of numbers that will be tested through the SPSS program. The data collection technique used in this research is to collect data in the form of student learning outcomes before using Google Meet media or when face to face and after using Google Meet Media. The data analysis uses the t test test in the SPSS program to determine whether there is a significant change in learning the Koran using Google Meet media. The results of this study indicate that learning the Koran with Google Meet media is not effective. It was found that there was a decrease in student scores during the pretest and posttest. From the decrease in the results of this score, it has shown a benchmark for whether or not Google Meet media is effective in learning the Koran
