Abstract

This study aims to determine the representation of family communication in the film "Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini" through John Fiske's semiotic analysis. This research is based on the development of film in Indonesia, which is a form of mass media that has a function to convey information or messages. Effective family communication is essential to maintaining intimate family relationships. Therefore, communication between husband and wife, communication between children and their parents needs to be built effectively in building good harmony in the family. Likewise, the family communication that occurred in the film “Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini”. The researcher uses this type of research using qualitative descriptive, then using John Fiske's semiotic analysis into three levels, namely the level of reality, the level of representation, and the level of ideology. The research results obtained are from 30 scenes there is 1 scene that contains and represents family communication in the NKCTHI film. From the 12 scenes, there are 5 general categories of family communication in this film, namely openness, empathy, support, positive attitude and equality or similarity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the moral message contained in the film The New Rich People. With descriptive qualitative research methods, using John Fiske semiotics analysis though three levels, namely: Reality Level, Representation Level, and Ideology Level. The results of this study show that the film The New Rich People there are many moral message conveyed to the audience, harmonious, have children who are smart and good, love each other and care for each other, friends who are always there in a state of joy and sorrow. A simple life is better than a luxurious life but not feeling happy, not making out something can be bought with money.

Abstract

Punk has been known to the public as a social group that has different characteristics from other communities, the lifestyle of punk children is the result of western culture which is accepted and applied in the social life of teenagers. At the beginning of the formation of the punk community, the principle was that without a leader in the community (no seniority), they prioritized solidarity, togetherness and kinship. The punk community is formed due to a factor or a problem from the family or other factors from each individual. In Singosari there are many punk children who live and settle there from outside the city or from Malang itself. This study aims to describe the identity negotiation of punk children in Singosari Malang. The method used in this research is qualitative. The population of this research is the Punk Community. Purposive Sampling technique for sampling while data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the identity of punk children in Singosari Malang is formed from interpersonal communication that has been carried out in their daily lives both with the punk community and with the community, the existence of openness, equality, empathy, support and positive attitudes carried out by punk children in mingling with the community so that its existence is well received.

Abstract

In this study, the SIGAP application is deemed necessary to be investigated and dissected more deeply, because in the last few years there are still many people who do not know the functions and uses of the SIGAP application as the first natural disaster response application in Sidoarjo Regency. This study uses quantitative methods and uses an approach through statistical data. This study focuses on volunteers who have downloaded the SIGAP application. Researchers set 88 people as a sample to be later developed into statistical data. By using the technique of Non Probability Sampling, data collection in this study using questionnaires and observations. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The resulting quality of the total value reached 75.4%. the interaction dimension got an average effect of 75.7%, and the overall dimension got an average value of 75.5%. These four dimensions fall into the Good category. This can be interpreted that the overall quality of the Spry application in the community is good. The Sigap application for disaster information is of good quality which is presented to disaster response volunteers and the community in general. In addition, valid information, which can be accessed by all people and receiving very fast responses or responses from the Sidoarjo Regency BPBD, is a boost to public confidence that the Sigap application is a good disaster application in Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of the message in advertising Aqua version with the goodness of Aqua, we continue to step. This study uses descriptive qualitative research using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis model which will be useful in explaining icons, indexes, and symbols to find the application of health protocols in the new Normal Era in advertisements spread in the mass media. The results of this study state the implementation of health protocols marked in a scene, property, and certain color characteristics that occurred at the interval of the covid-19 pandemic. The findings refer to an appeal that has been submitted by the covid-19 handling task force in the form of rules that must be applied when outside the home in the form of 3M (washing hands, using masks and maintaining distance).

Abstract

The covid19 pandemic has forced the world of education, especially in terms of learning, to adapt a little to new methods, namely learning boldly or online. Learning boldly can be done at home with the help of apps like zoom, or google meet. In practice, courageous learning communication that is often encountered encounters many obstacles such as the internet network, the material presented and others. Many problems that occur in learning with the bold method (online) for students and teaching staff are the basis for this research to be written. The method used in this research is quantitative, using total sampling for sampling and distributing questionnaires in collecting data. The sample in this study was 50 students at LBB Lentera Cendekia. The result of this research is that there is an influence of learning communication which has a positive influence on the achievement of student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the R value which is 0.666 and the courageous learning at LBB Lentera Cendekia is equal to zero, meaning that it does not affect the achievement of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of information technology and social media has an impact on changes in human behavior in communicating. Unsupervised communication in a social environment can have a variety of deviant effects, for example, what we often hear lately with the term cyberbullying. Many students or young generations currently use social media to communicate with each other with their friends. Not a few cases that have happened to the younger generations about cyber bullying. The purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the face treatment act and face management as well as the development of inter-group and cyberbullying victims on social media. The method used is descriptive method, using a quantitative approach. The types and sources of data obtained are primary and secondary data sources. While the data collection technique used is a questionnaire to test the validity of the data using validity, reliability, and hypotheses. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the behavior of cyberbullying perpetrators and the behavior of victims of cyber bullying with a significant value which is the more reactive the behavior of cyberbullying perpetrators is, the more reactive the behavior of cyberbullying victims will be. Therefore, the government needs to hold seminar programs for parents and so that they know how to deal with cyberbullying problems faced by their children.

Abstract

HRD is a department within an organization whose function is to plan, organize, direct and procure, control, develop, maintain, discipline, and terminate. All employees in an organization will be covered by HRD starting from recruiting employees and handling all employee complaints. The formation of the quality of employee work is also due to the encouragement made by HRD so that employees can further improve the quality of their work to be able to carry out their duties and responsibilities as well as possible in accordance with the goals set by the organization. An HRD must be able to place a communication position that is applied with an open nature and nothing is hidden or covered regarding work and company matters, for the sake of mutual interest and progress, although open communication does not necessarily provide the best guarantee for the company. The method in this study uses qualitative research. The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data sources. The methods of data collection used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique that the researcher uses is descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the HRD of Rsu Jasem Sidoarjo had open and active communication. The role of the leader is quite good in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. The performance of the employees of the Jasem Sidoarjo Hospital based on the results of the Employee's annual report, has experienced an increase in hospital visitors in the last 3 years.

Abstract

Supplier selection process is a step to evaluate and select the most suitable supplier to see the needs of the company or organization. This evaluation is important to ensure that the selected supplier is able to provide quality products or services, competitive prices, timely delivery, and meet ethical and sustainability standards. This research uses two methods, namely Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Taguchi Loss Function. AHP is used to calculate the weight of criteria, while the Taguchi Loss Function is used to estimate losses caused by suppliers. The criteria applied in supplier evaluation are quality criteria, product accuracy, delivery, price, warranty policy, and response to claims. The results obtained from this study PT. Bumi Makmur with a percentage loss of 21%, while the supplier that has the largest loss value is PT. Mergo Bopo with a percentage of 47%. Highlights : Integration of AHP and Taguchi Loss Function enhances supplier selection accuracy. Identified supplier exhibits substantial loss percentage, emphasizing the importance of thorough evaluation.
