Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the determination of scholarships at SMK Nasional Mojosari and to facilitate teachers in providing scholarships to deserving and high-achieving students, while also testing the quality of the system. The author uses the Waterfall method to build the system, which is a systematic and sequential approach that begins with analyzing, designing, coding, and testing the system. To analyze the system, several stages of data collection, problem formulation, user requirements, and concept analysis are required. The application design stage uses the CRISP_DM data mining model, and the testing stage uses the PIECES method. The accuracy of the Decision Tree classification for scholarships was determined using a confusion matrix, and the testing results showed an accuracy rate of 72.77% using RapidMiner. From these results, it can be concluded that the Decision Support System developed and tested is effective for processing and calculating data. Highlights: 1. The current process of determining scholarship recipients at SMK Nasional Mojosari is manual and time-consuming, which highlights the need for a more efficient and accurate system. 2. The author uses the Waterfall method, a systematic and sequential approach, to build a Decision Support System that facilitates the process of providing scholarships to deserving and high-achieving students while also testing the quality of the system. 3. The testing results showed an accuracy rate of 72.77% using RapidMiner, indicating that the Decision Support System is effective for processing and calculating data, and can help teachers make informed decisions about scholarship recipients.

Abstract

This comprehensive study investigates the varied seasonal tomato cultivars of Uzbekistan, characterizing their cultivation practices and vegetative periods. Given tomatoes' notable dietary value, a detailed examination of more than 1,000 different varieties was conducted, drawing attention to their growth in both open and protected environments. Leveraging global agricultural data, with a specific focus on leading tomato producers like China, USA, India, Turkey, and Egypt, we've honed in on the cultivation practices in Uzbekistan, where tomatoes comprise a significant 40-45% of total vegetable crops. Our results indicate that in 2010, tomatoes were cultivated on 75,000 hectares in Uzbekistan with a distribution pattern indicating 70% for processing, 10-15% for local market sale, and 15-20% for export. These findings offer the potential to boost both the local economy and the nutritional intake of the population, underlining the importance of tomatoes as a key dietary staple with implications for broader agricultural policy, particularly in areas focused on health and economic development.Highlights: Uzbekistan dedicates 40-45% of its total vegetable crop area to tomato cultivation, reflecting its substantial dietary and economic value. Diverse tomato varieties, suited to both open and protected growth, are integral to achieving high yield and ensuring local to global supply chains. The distribution of tomato produce in Uzbekistan offers potential for economic growth and improved local nutritional intake, with 70% processed, 10-15% sold locally, and 15-20% exported. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of demographic factors in the structural and territorial formation of labor resources and changes in the age and sex structure of the population in Surkhandarya region, Uzbekistan. The analysis includes an assessment of the most common diseases observed in the region's population and their implications for population health. Data from Table 2.2 reveal a shift in the proportion of men and women over the last decade, with men gaining the upper hand in recent years. The birth rate is influenced by various factors, including natural-biological, demographic, socio-economic, cultural, and educational levels. The Surkhan oasis, as an ancient inhabited area, has unique population dynamics and attitudes towards the birth process. Mortality rates varied across cities and districts, with a higher incidence observed in diseases related to the circulatory and respiratory systems. The findings underscore the high demographic potential and health challenges faced by the Surkhandarya region. In January-March 2023, there were 3,300 deaths recorded, with a death rate of 4.8 per thousand inhabitants. These results highlight the need for targeted interventions to address population health issues and promote well-being in the region.Highlights: Shifting demographics: Analyzing changes in the age and sex structure of the population in Surkhandarya region. Abstract

This study delves into the geography of medical services in the Surkhandarya region, focusing on the distribution of medical personnel across various districts. The research utilizes statistical data to analyze the ratio of doctors to the population in different areas, revealing significant disparities. The region boasts 92 hospitals, 366 polyclinics, and numerous other medical institutions, staffed by 4,200 doctors and 17,600 secondary medical workers. However, the distribution of these professionals varies widely, with the highest doctor-to-population ratio in Termiz city and the lowest in districts like Muzrabot and Bandikhon. The study also highlights the role of non-governmental institutions and international organizations in bolstering the regional healthcare system. The findings underscore the need for a more balanced distribution of medical personnel across the region, which could significantly enhance healthcare accessibility and quality. This research has implications for healthcare planning and policy, emphasizing the importance of considering geographical factors in medical resource allocation.Highlights: Significant disparities exist in the distribution of medical personnel across the Surkhandarya region, with some areas having a higher doctor-to-population ratio than others. Non-governmental institutions and international organizations play a crucial role in supplementing the regional healthcare system. The study's findings underscore the need for more balanced resource allocation in healthcare, taking geographical factors into account. Keywords: Medical personnel distribution, healthcare geography, Surkhandarya region, doctor-to-population ratio, healthcare policy.
