Abstract

This study seeks to optimize product development within the tofu industry by synthesizing the KANO and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) models, leveraging consumer preferences as the cornerstone for classification and gauging their profound influence on overall customer satisfaction. Employing a quantitative approach with a descriptive framework, this research employs the KANO model and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) as analytical methodologies. The outcomes unveil a structured approach that effectively aligns product attributes with consumer expectations, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction in the tofu market. This study's implications underscore its potential to revolutionize the tofu industry's product development strategies, emphasizing a consumer-centric approach for global applicability. Abstract

This quantitative study investigates the influence of gender as a moderator on entrepreneurial knowledge and self-efficacy and their impact on students' business interests at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. Data were collected from 210 randomly sampled respondents using questionnaires. Our analysis reveals that gender indeed plays a significant moderating role in shaping the relationship between entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy, and students' business interests. This research sheds light on the gender-specific dynamics within entrepreneurship education, highlighting the need for tailored approaches to foster students' entrepreneurial aspirations and capabilities. Highlights: Gender moderates entrepreneurial knowledge and self-efficacy. Quantitative study with 210 student respondents. Implications for tailored entrepreneurship education. Abstract

This study investigates the pivotal role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing curriculum implementation within Nigerian tertiary institutions. Utilizing secondary data from diverse sources, the research underscores AI's multifaceted contributions to curriculum execution, encompassing lecture planning, instructional resource preparation, presentation, student assessment, script marking, assignment allocation, student readiness, progress monitoring, and the selection of optimal teaching methodologies. The findings emphasize the indispensable impact of AI on education. Consequently, the study advocates increased government funding for tertiary institutions and the judicious deployment of AI to harness its transformative potential in curriculum implementation on a global scale. Abstract

This descriptive research aims to evaluate the perceptions of academic staff regarding the factors impeding their success in obtaining both local and international grants within Nigerian tertiary education. Employing a sample size of 240 participants from six federal universities spanning diverse geopolitical zones, a multistage sampling technique was applied. A bespoke questionnaire, "Perception of Academic on Reasons Why Academic Staff of Nigerian Tertiary Education are not Wining Local and International Grants (PASRWNWLGQ)," was utilized for data collection. The instrument demonstrated high reliability with a coefficient of 0.86. Analysis involved descriptive statistics, yielding insights into various barriers including inadequate research proposal planning, limited awareness of grant opportunities, and challenges associated with online application procedures. The study highlights the urgent need for enhanced research funding in Nigerian tertiary institutions to address these impediments. Furthermore, findings illuminate the broader consequences, encompassing diminished research development, brain-drain, and weakened international rankings, alongside dwindling morale among academic staff. This study provides critical insights for policy makers and stakeholders seeking to bolster the research landscape in Nigerian tertiary education. Abstract

This study presents an innovative sticker product crafted from environmentally sustainable biomaterials, designed to mitigate radiation exposure from electronic devices while enhancing the aesthetic appeal with the distinguished Banyumas batik motif. To ascertain market viability and effective consumer reception, a comprehensive segmentation analysis was conducted on a sample of 99 smartphone and laptop users. Employing cluster analysis, our findings reveal a strong consensus regarding the product's attributes, affirming its potential as a sustainable and effective anti-radiation solution. Moreover, this research underscores that customer preferences and values play a pivotal role in driving product innovation, alongside practical attributes and material performance. These insights have significant implications for product development and marketing strategies in the burgeoning field of anti-radiation technology. Highlight: Innovative Eco-Friendly Solution: This study introduces a novel sticker product made from sustainable biomaterials, offering a dual benefit of reducing radiation exposure from electronic devices and enhancing visual aesthetics with Banyumas batik design. Abstract

This study examines the potential reformation of features representing traditional cultural expressions as communal intellectual wealth and the regulatory role of law in safeguarding and promoting this positive orientation. Employing normative legal methodology, existing legal frameworks are analyzed. The research reveals that the reformulation of features embodying traditional cultural expressions is pivotal in preserving their cultural continuity as shared intellectual assets. This process entails safeguarding cultural heritage through intellectual property rights, crafting guidelines, cultural education promotion, empowering local communities, preventing intellectual property abuse, international cooperation, and nurturing local creative industries. Legal regulations play a crucial role in protecting and advancing this positive reformation, encompassing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection, registration and identification of traditional cultural elements, cultural policy formulation, community participation rights and consultation, law enforcement, international collaboration, and public education and awareness. These facets collaboratively ensure that traditional cultural heritage is respected, safeguarded, and judiciously utilized, allowing it to persist, evolve, and contribute positively to national identity and global intellectual wealth. Highlight: Preservation of Cultural Continuity: The study emphasizes the pivotal role of reformulating traditional cultural expressions in maintaining their cultural heritage's continuity as a shared intellectual asset. Abstract

This article aims to explain and analyze the implementation of tax monitoring system to local tax collection in Sidoarjo Regency. The electronic collection of local taxes is a strategy utilized by Sidoarjo Regency to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency in collecting local taxes, one of them is Tax Monitoring System. This writing reviews the benefits and impacts of the implementation adopted by the local government in implementing tax monitoring system, the advantages of it, and the resulting effects on the local tax revenue of Sidoarjo Regency. Highlights : Enhanced Efficiency: The Tax Monitoring System in Sidoarjo Regency streamlines tax collection processes, reducing manual efforts and expediting transactions. Increased Transparency: This system promotes accountability and transparency in local tax operations, building trust among taxpayers. Abstract

This normative legal research aims to clarify the regulation of interfaith marriages in Indonesia, considering both positive law and Islamic law perspectives, and assess the impact of Circular Letter No. 2 of 2023 on legal certainty in this matter. The study found that the 1974 Marriage Law lacks comprehensive protection for interfaith marriages. Islamic law, particularly according to the Indonesian Ulema Council (Mui), tends to prohibit such marriages due to perceived violations of fiqh principles, such as preventing harm (sadd al-zarî’ah). Despite these differing opinions, Circular Letter No. 2 of 2023 is expected to provide legal clarity and potentially resolve the controversy surrounding interfaith marriages in Indonesia. The Supreme Court's prohibition on interfaith marriages has sparked debates and protests in society, with some activists arguing that the court's order is a clear violation of people's constitutional rights, such as freedom of religion. Highlights: The study aims to clarify the regulation of interfaith marriages in Indonesia, considering both positive law and Islamic law perspectives, and assess the impact of Circular Letter No. 2 of 2023 on legal certainty in this matter.
