Abstract

The development of computer network technology is currently growing exponentially along with the increasing users who make use of digital content in support of mobility. For that pupose, a provider requires a storage server which provides space for storing the digital content. Network Attach Storage (NAS) is a technology that is commonly used as a storage system. It considers to be cheap and easy for implementation. This is mainly because it can be implemented in the condition of minimal resources. On the other hand, this technology is mainly running on the open source operating system, like FreeNAS and NAS4Free This paper will discuss the performance comparation between FreeNAS and NAS4Free network operating system to analize the main activity of the storage servers, i.e. data transfer, file maintenance, and the network infrastucture. In this testing process, we used windows based file sharing common internet file system (CIFS). Parameter that are involved in the analysis are delay/latency, throughput, CPU usage, memory usage, file copy, file classification, duplicate files detection and file delete on 11 different file sizes. Based on the experiment, it is concluded thats FreeNAS operating system in general shows better performance compared to the NAS4Free. However the NAS4Free requires higher CPU usage compared to the NAS4Free.

Abstract

The application of akademik.wima.ac.id is a media of information for student, lecture, and administration officer in Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya. The application is used to fill Study Plan Card (KRS) and Lecture’s Performance Evaluation Questionnaire; check Grades’ History, Students’ Activity Point, and Study’s Schedule. The result through observation and interview with students from Business Faculty is found out that some information has not been Up to Date and the limitedness access of the application use. The design to find the data of the application is using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) method. Questionnaire is used to collect the data from 334 students of Business Faculty. Microsoft Excel is used to process the data. Descriptive Analysis, Validity and Reliability test is used SPSS 16, and data analysis is used Structural Equation Model (SEM). The result of this study shows the application has a positive and strong acceptance to students. Variables Mean of Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Behavior Intention, and Use Behavior is 76,53% students agree and really agree and often and really often to use the application.

Abstract

PT Shafira Tour & Travel is a company that focused on Umrah and Hajj since 2001. The planning process equipment in umrah and hajj currently experiencing difficulties due to the demand planning process equipment is not adapted to demand the departure of Umrah and Hajj member in the coming period. The impact of this problem is delay in withdrawal equipment process. As for equipment that can’t kept for too long in the warehouses that mukena and ihrom fabric which can be dirty, and the impact that occurs when booking to cart more on a purchase order can result loaded in the warehouse. The solution provided is making and designing wake planning application supplies inventory Umrah and Hajj in PT Shafira Tour & travel using calculation process using Triple Exponential Smoothing Winters for forecasting method, the process of calculating for optimal ordering with minimum cost using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and ordering the re-order point (ROP). The result of this study is a planning application for Umrah and Hajj supplies inventory at PT Shafira Tour & Travel. This application can help equipment division to forecast the demand supply equipment for two subsequent periods based on data requests in prior periods as well as the equipment can help to define the re-order point with an optimal cost

Abstract

Institute of subjects abdullah faqih (INKAFA) is private universities located in kabupaten gresik .As since 2013 until 2015 , this institute increased the number of registered as a candidate new students , so with the this services were to be raised .Therefore , management inkafa issued a policy to do migration from manual processes be process that computerized.Seeing the opportunity that is , the management inkafa requires an analysis and design the system for receiving new students that went into reference in making an application as on inkafa .Therefore , to research is made a analysis and design that can help the entire range of the process of admission to new students.The results of the analysis and design this system produced a document containing analysis problems, operational analysis, analysis of the needs on data, analysis the availability of, analysis capacity, analysis performance, the best thing of analysis, and analysis security, and design system which includes system flow, diagram context, diagram level, data flow diagram level 0 and 1.Design data, ui design, design security and a system design.From the analysis and the design portray a the things needed in building the system for receiving students the necessary new inkafa.Keywords : analysis , design system , the new students

Abstract

Nutrition is an important factor in human life. At the age of children, adolescents and adults, good nutrition is needed for growth, health and optimal stamina. Good nutrition can be obtained by consuming foods that are nutritionally balanced. But in times of growth and development, nutrition and food intake can not always be done perfectly, so the impact on excess weight and underweight. Therefore needed an application that can make an assessment of nutritional status and determination of food menu for children, adolescents and adults. Application assessment of the nutritional status and determination of food menu can make an assessment of nutritional status and determine food menu for children, adolescents and adults according to the daily calorie needs. With the weight input, height, age, gender, activity level and number of hours of sleep, a person can know the status of nutrition, ideal weight, daily calorie needs and menu suggestions which suit to the needs of daily calories. Assessment of nutritional status performed by using the Body Mass Index formula, while the calculation of caloric needs of adults carried out by using the method of Krause. The consultation result report contains the nutritional status, daily menu suggestions and shopping lists. Abstract

Sentra UKM MERR Surabaya is an icon symbolic for Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) which is built in Surabaya. Sentra UKM MERR Surabaya currently experiencing problems with the stock record which still using stock card to record the stock so that mistakes still happen and also the transactions such as sales report, best seller UKM, best selling item, products report, customer report, ukm report and stock mutation report that doesn’t work well. On the other hand the promotions of the products also doesn’t work really well, we can see it from the visitor that only approximately 50 people. The solutions that given is build an online shop that can manage sales transactions, give more actual data about the stock product and helps promoting the products. Besides that, it also facilitate communication between Sentra UKM MERR Surabaya, UKM and customers. This online shop can help administration to manage the sold product without the stock card and this application can generate reports such as sales report, best seller UKM, best selling item, products report, customer report, ukm report and stock mutation report. Based on the results of user evaluation obtained value 67,5% that stands for very good and 32,5% stands for good.

Abstract

Tanaman obat tradisional adalah tanaman khusus yang berkhasiat sebagai obat. Masyarakat meracik obat-obatan tradisional hanya dari perkataan orang lain atau pengalaman sendiri, hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya pengaruh obat tradisional dalam menyembuhkan karena penggunaan dan dosis yang kurang tepat. Masyarakat sering salah dalam menentukan bahan baku pembuatan obat tradisional dan tidak mengetahui cara mengolah bahan baku tersebut, sehingga yang diperoleh bukanlah manfaat melainkan efek samping.Berdasarkan permasalahan ini, maka dibuat aplikasi pemanfaatan tanaman obat tradisional Indonesia berbasis web dengan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Model Waterfall. Aplikasi ini untuk membantu masyarakat mendapatkan informasi tentang tanaman obat tradisional Indonesia dan dapat melakukan konsultasi dengan herbalis. Aplikasi juga menyediakan layanan forum komunikasi dan informasi tentang kesehatan melalui artikel.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang dibuat dapat memberikan informasi tanaman obat secara mendetail, mulai dari gambar tanaman, nama daerah, nama latin, klasifikasi tanaman, deskripsi bagian tanaman, khasiat tanaman, kandungan kimia, dan cara mengolah tanaman sehingga dapat digunakan menjadi obat. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba aplikasi dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan dengan nilai  hasil uji coba sebesar 88,7%.                                       Kata Kunci:   Tanaman Obat Tradisional, Aplikasi, Model Waterfall, Website, PHP, Skala Likert

Abstract

The student cooperative (Kopma) is a business entity managed by students that offers entrepreneurial experience to students. Kopma has many activities including purchasing, sales, consignation, maintenance scheduling, Business Profit Calculation (SHU). Problems faced by Kopma include the process of scheduling guarding, selling, purchasing, purchasing, and consignment transactions carried out manually so that when calculating the contribution of members often experience problems, because waiting for the recap of each district that resulted in the calculation of SHU for Rapat Anggota Tahunan (RAT) often experience recording errors reporting. Of the problems faced by Kopma, the solution provided is the design and analysis of Kopma information systems. Where the analysis and analysis of this information system produces a Kopma information system that can integrate reports from each Kopma operational activity. The results of the analysis and design of the Kopma information system as a reference for the implementation of the system so that the workmanship is in accordance with the analysis and design documents of the Kopma information system. The results of these documents are in accordance with user requirements based on the results of usability testing conducted to AKMS representatives where 5 testers can easily use the Kopma information system design prototype. the advice given for the next development of the Kopma information system prototype can be continued until the system implementation stage.

Abstract

Abstract: Public service is a place to meet specific needs, where common services include restaurants, hotels, public refueling stations (gas stations), and automatic teller machine (ATM). At this time the search location of public services supported by the device commonly called a location search navigation system or guiding direction. Knowledge navigation system directions or compass and map, and how to use it must be owned and understood. Problems encountered were not all users can read a map, both in physical form and application service providers map. They have difficulty in the process of introducing a new area they visit with the map provided, therefore the knowledge of the directions or compass and map, and how to use it must be owned and understood. Based on the description above, the proposed application of GPS and GIS to find the location and distance of public services with Maps and Augmented Reality Camera-View on Android-Based Mobile Devices. These applications can facilitate the search for the location of public services needed by simply selecting the menu location of public services eg gas stations, restaurants and hotels, without having to type the name of the location is necessary, so as to expedite the search for the location of public services.

Abstract

UD New Sehati is enterprise small middle which active in production and sell may kinds of chips. Payroll system in UD New Sehati calculated based on amount of work day. Overtime calculated based on letter instruction overtime which determined by owner and calculated by hour. Besides that, The employee get bonuses based on the active work employee which assessed from amount of product which has been produced, amount of work day, amount time of delayed and amount of overtime which shown be in the shape of the best value until the worst to make easy the owner give amount of bonuses. Time works for male employee consist or two shifts are morning shift and day shift and nothing overtime. The time work begin at 07.00-16.00 WIB and for day work at 16.00-21.00 WIB. Change shift do every week. Time work for female employee at 07.00-16.00 WIB and nothing shift. Employee presence write by coordinator employee  so that at risk in mistaken in recording. Begin Friday the owner must be count all salary for employee which will be give the employee in Saturday. From some problem happened so that give the solution in the shape of information system payroll employments which can help in storage data employee, make shift schedule, information overtime, letter instruction overtime, storage presence, storage overtime, give bomuses and calculated payroll employee which produce report payroll and report outcome finance for owner and  slip salary to employee
