Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effects of the CTRT Guidance Group Module based on the social cognitive career theory in Career Exploration and Decision-Making for Male and Female Students. The study used a quasi-experimental approach with a pre and post-test control group structure. The experimental design of the research included pre and post-testing. There were 90 students of secondary schools in Malaysia involved in this study. The Career Exploration Service-Revised (CESR) and Career Decision Difficulties Questionnaire-Reverse (CDDQR) questionnaires were used to gather data. Throughout the experimental procedure, the experimental group met weekly between 2.30 and 4.00 p.m. for eight weeks, whereas the control group did not. The study determined that the experimental group students had significantly higher mean scores on CESR and CDDQR questionnaires than the control group students. In light of the relevant research, the impact of the CTRT Guidance Group Module designed for Career Exploration and Career Decision-Making on Student Gender was discussed.

Abstract

The validity and reliability of Career Exploration Service-Revised (CESR) questionnaires were tested in a pilot study. The objective of the study was to find out how reliable the various parts of the questionnaires were. There were 5 experts and 35 senior high school students involved in this study. The instrument was distributed to students in grades four and higher at two secondary schools in the Hulu Terengganu region. The study participants were students who have already been chosen. Students were chosen to participate in the study from a broader pool of applicants whose characteristics were similar to those of the final study participants. This was done to gauge the extent to which the students trusted the various parts of the instrument. The validity analysis shows that the items are spot-on, allowing the research to proceed. All items on the Self-Exploration sub-construct of the first sub-construct were trustworthy, as shown by high values for the corresponding CESR reliability coefficients.

Abstract

Omah'e Cinta Art Gallery is a gallery that sells various products and types of women's clothing. At this time the sales system at Omah'e Cinta Art Gallery is still conventional. So that the process of ordering clothes and the process of making orders reports are less efficient. To be able to reach more customers and expand the marketing area as well as gallery promotion, media is needed that can optimally support promotional activities, sales transactions and gallery information. One of the media that is of concern to the public today is to use online media websites. The purpose of this research is to produce a sales information system that can solve problems and simplify the process of selling services to consumers. Building a sales information system for Omah'e Cinta Art Gallery using the programming language PHP and MySQL as the data base. The system development method uses the waterfall method and the system approach method where the object approach method uses several tools such as use cases, use case scenarios, and activity diagrams. Furthermore, qualitative analysis is used to prove whether or not the role of the Sales Information system is in an effort to create Efficiency in Customer Service. The successful development of a web-based sales information system can be a solution in an effort to improve service to consumers to be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

With the rapid development of internet technology, online games are also growing rapidly. Online games offer a new nuance where social interactions with other people become more intense through cyberspace. With the internet, it triggers a form of communication in the media, namely virtual communication. Virtual communication that occurs between online game players is very important because this virtual communication can be in the form of strategic planning or providing information about opponents to the team. The problem discussed in this study is how virtual communication processes and patterns occur in every Valorant online game player in developing game strategies. This research uses a type of descriptive qualitative research with data sources, namely the results of interviews with informants and other supporting data. The data that has been collected was analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis of Miles and Huberman's interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification, while the validity of the data was checked using source triangulation. Furthermore, the results of the research data were analyzed and linked to the Computer Mediated Communication Theory to find out how the processes and patterns of virtual communication are carried out by players in the online game Valorant. The results of this study indicate that, 1) the virtual communication process that occurs in every Valorant online game player is in the form of conveying a message from an idea or idea from a team member which is expressed through the voicechat and chatbox/text chat features, then absorbed by other players, resulting in various reciprocity or feedback and lead to a flow of communication. 2) There are three communication patterns that are more dominantly used by every online game player, namely primary, secondary, and circular communication patterns. 3) there are virtual communication barriers in the online game Valorant such as signals, and also in terms of hardware.

Abstract

Cats are one of the animals that are popular and liked by the public. However, when their pet cat is sick, many cat owners are confused in finding information about the initial treatment, technical handling of the disease and the right medicine for the disease their cat is suffering from, so many cat owners give natural treatment. Therefore, the author creates an expert system that can assist cat owners in dealing with sick cats by using the forward chaining based on applicable rules according to the decision of an expert. This expert system can produce information on the initial diagnosis of a disease as well as initial solutions that can be carried out by cat owners in the technical handling of diseases suffered by their cats.

Abstract

The use of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) must never be missed in electronics field because its pivotal function as the connector of electrical terminals or leads. Thus, PCB design has to be made properly to create functions that are precise to the system designed. Almost every electronic device manufactory uses machine or robot for fabrication. Each manufactory has their own rule check for fabrication (Manufacture Rule Check) that should be implemented to maintain the run of production process well without error. One of the error check process that is advanced now is using user menu feature on Zuken CR-500 application used by Samsung Electro Mechanic South Korea company. Not every error check using user menu can fulfill the whole design rule check determined by the industry, with the development of this user menu feature, it is hoped can handle the undergone error check. The distance between components assembled using machine or robot has minimum clearance rule that is 1mm. Adding functions on user menu feature can detect the error when the distance between the components does not correspond to the determined standard. According to the conducted research result, user menu function can be added to check the distance between components well. By viewing contents of command on environment feature, the syntax of executed actions while the process of designing can be seen. Briefly, the system flow is to make log file saved in certain directory that is later called by adding user menu button and taking the data from the log file made
