Abstract

This research aims to find out how the religious system and beliefs of the Kensiu Indigenous People relate to the art system in the Kensiu Indigenous People. This research uses a type of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach, an in-depth research approach to reveal problems based on phenomena and events. Results The religious system or belief and art are closely interrelated; in every community ritual, there is also an art that complements it. In the religious system of the Kensiu indigenous people's beliefs, in terms of the beliefs of the Indigenous People in general, they still practice the faith of animism, in which they believe that all things and creatures have a spirit. The belief system of the Indigenous People, in general, is seen to be disappearing and being eroded due to the current modernization and globalization that is happening today. This small number of Kensiu speakers can also wipe out the culture passed down from generation to generation.

Abstract

This study aims to present differences of children’s abilities in acquiring language. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting sources from various journal articles and books. The object of the study is experiences that prove several theories related to language acquisition. This journal describes several language acquisition approaches which are reinforced by theories from an expert as well as examples of language acquisition experienced by the author.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of gadget the outcomes learning in Indonesia junior high school students. This research is a type of qualitative research using case study method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was consists of data reduction steps, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that : (1) The use of gadgets among junior high school students is not only used as a means of communication but there are some students who often play gadgets instead of studying; 2) The positive effect of using gadgets is that students are able to get information and communication easily while the negative effect of using gadgets is that students forget time to study so that it can have an effect on student outcomes learning. The conclusion is this study is that excessive use of gadgets will have an effect on student outcomes learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of physical fitness of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 East Gorom, SBT District. Physical fitness is an important element that is very influential in the PJOK learning process, this is in line with the notion of physical fitness according to Hidayat in Suhartoyo 2019, Physical fitness does not only have a good influence on the development of affective aspects in students, but with good physical fitness will also be able to give effect to learning outcomes. Students who have a high level of physical fitness will also get high academic achievement results. The design of this study uses a non-experimental research type through a descriptive quantitative , aims to collect data using the TKJI test. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 2 Gorom Timur, SBT District with a total population of 20 students and a total sample of 20 students. Sampling was carried out using the Random Sampling technique, the data analysis technique used the Presentation Formula. The results of the research conducted showed that the Physical Fitness of Class V Students at SD Negeri 2 Gorom Timur Kab SBT there were 0% (0 samples) had very good physical fitness, 11% (11 samples), had good physical fitness, 5% (5 sample) had moderate physical fitness, 4% (4 samples) had moderate physical fitness, and 0% (0 samples) had very poor physical fitness

Abstract

The drug prevention programs in school were conducted in curricular and co-curricular activities by involving all parties to participate such as head masters, administration staffs, teachers, students and parents. In terms of curriculum, classroom teachers had significant role in drug education to integrate their teaching-learning topics with drug abuse prevention among students. This study aimed to use analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation (ADDIE) model to develop the rubric for teacher`s self-efficacy and teaching competency in drug education. The methodology used in this was research and development research by using ADDIE Model to enable the system to achieve the educational rubric in assessing teachers` self-efficacy and teaching competency in drug education. The results indicated that the use of ADDIE Model matched to develop the rubric to assess efficacy and competency of classroom teachers in integrating drug prevention topics in teaching-learning situation following five phases. The study concluded that the ADDIE model can be adopted to develop assessment tools to measure teacher`s abilities and it helps to improve teacher`s self-efficacy and teaching competency in drug education in Malaysian secondary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of verbal aggression in adolescents at OSM, Ambon City and to formulate and develop a module for using the tiktok application to reduce adolescent verbal aggression in OSM, Ambon City. The research and development procedure is based on this research to produce a module for using the tiktok application. In general, this type of research uses quantitative research. The results show that adolescent verbal aggression in OSM, Ambon city is in the moderate category (94%). Of the five aspects, the lowest is the aspect of empathy and the highest is the coding aspect of verbal aggression messages. The overall results of the validation test show that this module is at a score of 0.98, which means the module for using the tiktok application to reduce adolescent verbal aggression in OSM, Ambon City is in the moderate category.

Abstract

This study concerns on the character of conservative mother of Alice Garton in response to her daughter's love affair with her boyfriend, Chris in the novel “Dear Nobody” by Berlie Doherty. The researcher intends to discover the reasons why Alice Garton becomes very strict, super disciplined, overprotective, and overcare to Helen, her daughter, which made her reluctant to share her problems and hide her unexpected pregnancy from her. Moreover,this study is a descriptive qualitative research that uses the three personality aspects theory by Sigmund Freud as the psychoanalytic framework. The primary data source used in analyzing Alice Garton character is “Dear Nobody” novel by Berlie Doherty besides various reliable academic journals and books related to psychoanalysis as secondary data source. The data analysis technique employed is content analysis of the story. The result of this study will be presented in the narrative form which reveals that Alice's strict and conservatives personality according to the three personality aspects proposed by Freud is supergo for she behaves according to the norms and values that is accepted by society. The three reasons that Alice is a conservative are her standpoint, actions and beliefs.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia which forced many businesses in every sector to close their operations temporarily as the government imposed social and physical distance regulations to stop the outbreak. At the beginning of the pandemic, many businesses were struggling to make ends meet since the stores had to be closed and the customers had to stay at home. PT. Gramedia was one of the businesses that face not only in terms of sales volume but also about how to maintain the customer’s loyalty. By adopting whatsapp business as their customer relationship management media, the company could operate safely according to the health regulations which relate to the customer’s transactions as well as maintain their loyalty. Whatsapp business has created an opportunity for the company to inform, engage and manage customer relationships without any limitations. The research aims to understand how to use whatsapp business as customer relationship management media in maintaining the customer’s loyalty of PT. Gramedia during the covid-19 pandemic. With the features of this new media platform, the research could analyze how the company uses them in order to maintain the customer’s loyalty. The research used the qualitative method by collecting data through in-depth-interviews, non-participant observations, and literature reviews which were associated with research object. The findings showed that how PT. Gramedia implements various customer relationship management strategies, especially utilizing features of whatsapp business to maintain the customer’s loyalty during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The trend of veil or hijab industry has been growth rapidly in Indonesia as majority of population are Muslims. In the past few years, numerous numbers of local brand entered the hijab market with uniqueness and creativity that offered variety of styles, patterns and colors to satisfy the customers. As the competition became rigid, some of brands utilized social media platform such as instagram to introduce the brand, to promote the products and to build certain image that represent the brands. Buttonscarves was one of local hijab brand that actively using instagram as a marketing communication media which able to deliver the dimensions of brand image such as brand identity, brand personality, brand association, brand attitude and brand competence. By implementing variety of marketing communication tools via instagram, Buttonscarves has able to shape their brand image which known as premium quality and lifestyle icon for hijab. The research aims to understand how to use Instagram as marketing communication media in building the brand image of Buttonscarves. The research used qualitative method with case study approach by collecting data through in-depth-interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings showed that how Buttonscarves implements various marketing communication tools by utilizing features of instagram to build the 5 brand image dimensions.
