Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of training in improving employee performance and internal staffing relationships in improving employee performance and how the relationship of training and internal staffing in improving employee performance. The research method used is a verification method of research with multiple linear regression models, processing data using multiple correlation analysis and using the F test and t test. The total population taken was 58 permanent employees and a random sample of 50 respondents and the data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. From the calculation of the multiple correlation coefficient between training and employee performance resulted in a positive number of 0.98 which means that employee performance is greatly influenced by training. This shows the relationship of training with employee performance is very strong. These results are supported by significant test results t (t arithmetic = 1.36> = 1.30). This means that training makes a meaningful contribution; while internal staffing (tcount = 0.009 <ttable = 1.30) showed less significant relationship in improving employee work performance, even though it had a correlation coefficient (ry2 = 0.98). Training and internal staffing on employee performance have a very strong relationship as evidenced by a variance of 96.52%. and the remaining 3.48% is caused by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between employee quality development and work productivity of employees at the Forestry and Plantation Service of Purwakarta Regency. The research method used is a verification research method with multiple linear regression models, the data processing uses multiple correlation analysis and uses the F test and T test. The population is all employees of the Purwakarta district health and plantation office, with a sample of 50 people. The variable used is the Quality Development variable as the X variable, which consists of two variables, namely: the X1 training variable and the X2 course variable, while the work productivity is the Y variable. The results of the study show that training and courses on work productivity are obtained F count> F table namely 4,375> 3,767 indicates that there is a significant relationship between development variables on work productivity, development variables on work productivity. The results of correlation analysis between variables have a correlation coefficient between training and work productivity 0.491; between courses with work productivity 0.473. Of the two independent variables, the training variable has a correlation coefficient value greater than the course variable. The coefficient value of 0.491 indicates a moderate interpretation for the training and work productivity variables. The coefficient of determination (R2) between the training and course variables is 28%, the remaining 72% is influenced by other factors. In other words, the variable of employee quality development in the Forestry and Plantation Service of Purwakarta Regency is not the superior variable in increasing work productivity. From the results of the regression analysis, the percentage increase in variable X to Y is obtained as follows: to achieve maximum productivity, amounting to 27.129%; training 27.050%, and courses 27.061%. Of the existing variables, training only required an increase of 27.050%.

Abstract

A phenyl propanoid compound, 7-hydroxy-6-methoxycoumarin has been isolated from the bark of Chisocheton macrophyllus (Meliaceae). The chemical structure of isolated compound was identified on the basis of spectroscopic data including UV, IR, 1D-NMR, 2D-NMR and mass along with comparison with those spectral data previously reported. 7-hydroxy-6-methoxycoumarin compound showed cytotoxic effect against P-388 murine leukemia cell with IC50 value of 16.5 mg/mL. 7-hydroxy-6-methoxycoumarin compound was reported for the first time from genus of Chisocheton.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the collaboration form of, and critically discuss the determinant factors of collaboration those are more significantly distorted, in the governance of CSEL’s CSR program on agriculture-based economic empowerment for communities in the Salas village of Bula Sub-District, Eastern Part of Seram Regency in Maluku Indonesia. The collaboration form, the determinant factors of collaboration and their distortion as the main focuses were employed in a qualitative case study. Primary data was collected by using an in-depth interview and Focus Group Discussion. There are 9 key informants. Secondary data was collected by using documentary study on relevant documents (CSR rule & regulation, CSR Reports, etc.). The CSEL’s collaborative CSR program was a type of formal collaboration that was significantly distorted. The stakeholder, communication and also collaboration resources were among the determinant factors which were significantly distorted in the governance of the CSEL’s collaborative CSR program, and therefore it failed for empowering the economy of the host community in the Salas Village. The findings of this study are useful to understand the specific formal collaborative management of CSR in Indonesian oil and gas sectors which were distorted in the CSEL’s collaborative CSR program case; particularly, these findings show the challenges the oil & gas sectors face in managing their collaborative CSR programs by improving the determinant factors of collaboration. This study adapts not only the concept of collaboration form, but also the well-known determinant factors of collaboration into a unique and specific case of CSEL’s formalized collaborative CSR program within the Indonesian oil & gas sectors context that was significantly distorted in practice if compared to other CSR programs of CSEL and others.

Abstract

In Hospital Cardiac Arrest (IHCA) is fairly common occurrence, although it can be prevented. Physiological status monitoring at Emergency Departement (ED) is crucial for early detection of potential IHCA incidence. National Early Warning Score (NEWS) is a scoring system to assess deterioration of patient's condition, but it is not yet known which parameters that have predictive value for IHCA incidence. Examine NEWS parameters of the patients while at the ED that have predictive value of IHCA incidence. This study was conducted retrospectively on inpatient medical records. The NEWS parameters examined were respiration rate score, oxygen saturation score, body temperature score, systolic blood pressure score, pulse rate score and level of consciousness score. Logistic regression analysis was used to test the predictive ability of NEWS parameters. Total score NEWS proved to be correlated with IHCA incidence (p=0.000; r=0.434). Parameters that have predictive value are systolic blood pressure score (p=0.001; OR=14.730), respiration rate score (p=0.000; OR=14.483) and level of consciousness score (p=0.000; OR=6.920). The NEWS parameter when the patients will be transferred from ED to the wards that have predictive value for IHCA incidence are systolic blood pressure score, respiration rate score and level of consciousness score.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe adolescent knowledge of iron supplement anemia and consumption before and after health education. This research was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design using pre-posttest without control. The material presented in the form of lectures and videos on 119 students at 16 senior high school in Pekanbaru. Pre and Post-test to evaluate the level of knowledge of adolescents. The results showed that before counseling 35.5% of adolescents had never consumed iron supplements. After the intervention, the increase in correct answers ranged from 0.8 to 21.9 percent, with the highest rating being on vitamins that help with iron absorption, beverages that inhibit iron absorption and cause anemia. The average score for adolescent knowledge before intervention is 6.46. The average score after intervention increased to 7.27. T-Test results showed significant differences in knowledge scores before and after the intervention. Teenage Health Care Services need to be established as adolescent health counselors so that they can motivate other students in adolescent reproductive health, especially in consuming iron supplements.
