Abstract

The social movements that were present during the Arab Spring have caused political upheaval in Middle Eastern countries. Starting from Tunisia, the revolution spread to neighboring countries namely Egypt, Libya, and Syria. Present in the midst of a prominent Islamic religion and culture, the aim of the revolution is to bring democracy into the government systems of countries that have long been in an autocracy system, but so far democracy with Islam has often been considered incompatible with each other, especially in countries with values deep-rooted Islamic values. This article focuses on the use of Islamic values in the global civil society movement that takes place in the Arab Spring. Reviewing the revolution in a macro, the main argument of the author is that the Arab Spring became a phase which brought Islam a certain degree of flexibility towards democracy and brought democracy to the Arab world. This article generates the conclusion that the trigger for the revolution was not due to religious matters, the demonstrators who joined were not one hundred percent Muslim, and the issue demanded was not related to the religious life of the people, but that Islam, whether its values or religious practices, could not be separated in organizing the masses during the revolution.

Abstract

Diffusion processes in hepatic cirrhosis is characterized with fibrosis and structural changed. Patients with cirrhosis are at risk to get problems because of the effects of the drugs used have drug-related problems (DRPs), due to changes in heart function that affects many aspects of drug pharmacokinetics. Therefore, treatment of patient with hepatic cirrhosis should consider the drug and dose adjustment so that subsequent problems could be avoided. The research method was prospective and descriptive, with a purposive sampling technique. Patients’s treatment were monitoring and analyzed. Significance of 0000 means that p (0000) <0.05, then the Pearson correlation test results are H1a, ie there was a relationship between the number of DRPs events by the total number of clinical risk factors of DRPs in patients with cirrhosis. Therefore from this relationship could be expected to know the possible risk of DRPs in patients. The increasing number of clinical risk factors DRPs in patients with cirrhosis, indicate thatthe patient should receive a more stringent monitoring of the provision of therapy because the risk of experiencing DRPs more.

Neonatal asphyxia is a form of gravity that occurs in neonates. It is a condition when the baby cannot breathe spontaneously and regularly after birth. The management of neonatal resuscitation is carried out by the health team. It is provided by nurses, midwives, and physicians. To identify the evidence of health team readiness in administering neonatal emergencies is useful to succeed neonatal resuscitation. The selection was conducted by following PRISMA flow diagram. It was also criticized by JBI tool. The search keywords were “Readiness Factor” and “Neonatal Resuscitation”. The steps consisted of making questions, identifying, eligibility, article inclusion selection, screening, and appraisal. After 11 relevant articles were collected, they were analyzed in a systematic review. The finding shows that readiness in carrying out neonatal resuscitation requires preparation from both the health team that administers these actions. It consists of six dimensions. Abstract

Laboratory microcosm observation were conducted to study the effect of media culture containing oil spill in microbial growth ability . Laboratory microcosms was inoculated with oil microbial consortia isolated from oil spill sample in Cepu oil field. Based on the colony characteristic differentiation, 5 microbial types identified from the sample. At the end of enrichment period and acclimatization on the BH media containing 5% Cepu crude oil, all isolates as microbial consortia put into growth experiment media. The experiment proved that microbes could be able utilizing oil as carbon source for their cell multiplication. The results showed the more the turbidity concentration increase, the more the microbial population rise. These studies indicates that reducing oil spill utilizing in situ bioremediation technologies can be realized.

Abstract

This research aims to further explore the civil war that is taking place in Syria. This paper questions fundamentally, why did the civil war in Syria become a prolonged armed conflict? Or are there other factors that strengthen the strength of their resistance? This research offers a novelty of research on the situation of this conflict, is that the prolonged civil war in Syria is not only caused by internal conditions, but also the involvement of external actors. As with the approach of David E. Cunningham (2010) that the involvement of external actors in civil war produces two possibilities, namely; become a negotiating facilitator and help one party win. This research reveals that the involvement of external actors interventions - regional, international and transnational – actually prolongs the conflict. This is because the involvement of external actors causes the addition of combatants in the conflict, so the preference in the conflict increases.
