Abstract

The phenomenon of total internal reflection can be used to guide the light to be transmitted from one place to another, it is applied to the guiding principle of light in fiber optics. A fiber rope made of clear plastic material with a uniform refractive index, when one end fired a beam of light then the light will be forwarded along the strap so that out at the other end. This principle can be applied as a lighting source in a closed room by passing light from the outdoors by using plastic fiber, so it doesn’t need the electricity. In this study, theoretical analysis of the percentage of the intensity of light transmitted by the fiber plastic succeed as a function of the refractive index and determine the transmission coefficient for some plastic seeds are eligible to be used as a plastic fiber light successor. From the results of deriving the equation, the light transmission coefficient of plastic is and the terms of plastic seeds that can be used as a plastic fiber are having a refractive index . Based on refractive index data from profesionalplastics, the maximum transmission coefficient value for Ethylene Tetrafluoro Ethylene Copolymer is 82.23% and the minimum transmission value of Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene Copolymer is 55.99%.

Abstract

The Contribution of Intercessory Prayer in the Growth of the Early Church according to the Book of the Acts provide a great role and influence for the growth and development of the Church. The Church as a Spiritual Organization craves healthy growth and development, both in quality and quantity. One of the most effective and efficient ways is to intercede, in addition to other methods of course. Nowadays, Intercessory prayer is receiving less serious attention in some churches. The growth and development of the Gospels according to what is written in the Book of Acts shows an event that resulted in major and prominent changes to be examined. There is a significant growth in the preaching of the Gospel both in terms of quality and quantity, many prayers delivered to God are fulfilled and accomplished. In the development of Mission and Gospel in this world it cannot be denied that there are certain individuals, even certain groups do not agree that the creation of a Church growth and development is caused by one of the supporting factors, namely Intercessory Prayer. Luke the writer of the Book of Acts reveals the extraordinary events experienced by Jesus's disciples. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit became the basis of everything that happened and the disciples obeyed the commandments. Behind these events there is a very important thing to remember, that they gather and pray, and even intercede for the fulfillment of God's promises for them and the world. Disciples are baptized, equipped, and even empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. There is no denying that this miraculous event in the Book of Acts has had a great impact until now. Because through this event many people became believers in Jesus Christ and accepted the Gospel in their lives. So that the Church is growing rapidly and extraordinary. Everything that happened during the Early Church was the key to the growth and development of the Church today. May Churches today increasingly realize that behind the Intercessory Prayer there is a real power that will be fulfilled by God for His people. Especially at this time of the Pandemic Covid-19, Intercessory Prayer is very urgent and important because the Churches needed the power of the Holy Spirit poured out for the Churches in this world.

Abstract

The environmental movement, which started in the 1970s, had been changed to the view of biological resources. It is understood that Biological resources are not enough resources as economical, which is perceived as inexhaustible goods till this period. Therefore it has come into question the conservation and sustainability of these resources. When to be included in the economical politics, biological diversity started to be taken measures about ensuring sustainable use is a guarantee of continuity of human life's continuity and biosphere. Protection measures can be taken as an essential condition of success is the possible loss of biodiversity and biodiversity of the economic importance, and it is possible to know the value. The potential loss of biological diversity, as it is ecological processes, can cause loss of power that is immendable and in economic and socio-cultural processes. In this context, primarily the goods and services provided by these services' biological diversity to identify and ecological, economic and socio-cultural processes need to display the possible values. This is possible by combining ecological functions of the financial position in sustainable economic policies under the same roof. However, in this case, efficient resource use can be assured of effective policies. Especially in some countries, which have rich biodiversity, in making a rational choice, in developing countries' resources, it needs to display the economic importance that goods and services provider of biological diversity. İn this study, it has determined that goods and services provided of biological diversity and have been trying to put the biodiversity and loss of biodiversity of the economic importance were assessed with the ecological processes.

Abstract

Abstract

The main aim of the article is to suggest what and how a contemporary, revised version of humanism, inflected with critical realism and Marxism, can contribute to sociology. I focus primarily on two areas in which sociology is often found lacking today: theorizing the relationship between structure and agency, and deciding what to do with moral evaluations in sociological analyses. I argue that the solution to both lies in attempting to finally transcend the traditionally hostile and mutually exclusive paradigms of “humanist” or “cultural” Marxism on the one side and “anti-humanist” or “scientific” Marxism on the other. This enables us to carefully reinstate the agency of human subjects and the moral dimension, both of which were and still are dismissed by anti- or post-humanist social science, without neglecting the objective and causally relevant existence of social structures at the same time.

Abstract

The text studies how digitality and refugee routes intersect by focussing on the concepts of »connected migrants and the digital footprints of refugee routes in transnational spaces. The smartphone is a key signifier of today’s refugee, and possession of one is questioned by government policies of legitimisation and public opinion perceptions of what constitutes a genuine refugee. These overlook the complex question of digital rights and migration’s embeddedness in the fluidity of the postmodern world. The text thus deals with the digital world’s ambivalence, which is not just a one-way relation of empowerment but entails the risk of complete control over a refugee’s body as well. We establish that an important shift has occurred in European policies, one most visible in the process of erasing the electronic traces of refugees on the move and the illegal return of refugees to the previous country on their way, the socalled pushbacks.
