Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of social capital in families of different religions in Salatiga city. The social capital used is from Fukuyama's explanation of trust, norms, and networks. In this study the authors use a qualitative approach, namely, research whose results are in the form of words based on the results of observations and interviews with informants both from body language, behavior, expressions or speech. From the research results analyzed using Fukuyama's Social Capital theory, the results show that families of different religions can live in harmony and harmony because they play social capital, namely trust, norms and networking in family communication and interaction internally and in the surrounding or external environment.

Abstract

Managing the talent of an organization's workforce effectively and efficiently, including developing and planning succession and employee self-development as much as possible, is the goal of talent management. One of the problems in the SME sector is that the utilization of talent has not been carried out optimally. The purpose of the study was to analyze the development of human resources (HR) in the SME sector in the city of Bandung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and data collection through interviews and library studies. The study results show that talent management has become a basic need for SMEs so that they can and continue to grow in adapting to changes in the business environment. The utilization of information technology can be one of the talents that must be developed to operate competitively.

Abstract

In general, the purpose of this research and development is to produce a model of smash practice in badminton games for beginners. In addition, this research and development are carried out to obtain in-depth information about the competencies, characteristics, and initial abilities of FIK UNM students in the implementation of lectures, especially in Badminton Learning materials. The design in the research and development of this learning model uses the research and development model approach (Research & Development) from Brog and Gall. While the subjects in this research and development are all students of the Faculty of Sports Science, Makassar State University, which numbers 40 people. The instruments used in this research and development are questionnaires and questionnaires used to collect data at the stage of (1) needs analysis; (2) expert evaluation (initial product evaluation); (3) limited trials (small group trials); and (4) field testing. For the effectiveness test, the model used the badminton smash test and the rubric for assessing the correctness of the smash movement. To see the results of the effectiveness of the model, a statistical test was used using the test-test formula with a signification level of α = 0.05. Based on the development results, it can be concluded that: (1) The smash practice model in the badminton game for beginners can be developed and applied in training, and (2) The smash practice model in the badminton game for beginners has been developed, obtained data on the effectiveness and results of the development of the smash practice model in badminton games for beginners as well as can and deserve to be used in badminton training.

Abstract

Le fibre naturali sono state comunemente utilizzate per i materiali rinforzati per molti anni. Recentemente grazie ai vantaggi delle fibre naturali come il basso costo, l'elevata resistenza fisica e meccanica vengono prodotti materiali plastici compositi mescolando varie proporzioni. Inoltre, vengono utilizzati compositi plastici, le fibre naturali includono i rifiuti agricoli (paglia di grano, paglia di riso, fibra di canapa, gusci di vari frutti secchi, ecc.). In questo studio, i compositi polimerici sono stati prodotti utilizzando farina di guscio di noce di scarto come riempitivo e polipropilene (PP) come matrice polimerica. I compositi Nutshell-PP sono stati prodotti mediante metodi di estrusione e compressione. Il prodotto finale è stato testato per determinarne le proprietà di resistenza a trazione, flessione, resistenza all'urto, nonché alcune caratteristiche fisiche come il rigonfiamento dello spessore e l'assorbimento d'acqua. I migliori risultati sono stati ottenuti compositi contenenti il ​​30% di farina di guscio di noce. Inoltre, i compositi prodotti in poche parole fornivano i valori dello standard ASTM D6662. I dati raccolti nel nostro Paese che sprecano gran parte delle poche parole permettono di valutare la produzione dei compositi polimerici. L'incorporazione di farina di noce è fattibile per produrre compositi plastici quando sono state utilizzate formulazioni appropriate. Di conseguenza, il guscio di nocciola, considerato un rifiuto agricolo, può essere utilizzato nella produzione di compositi polimerici.

Abstract

In the context of coastal communities, the need for civic culture arise as an idea related to the moral or ethical identity of citizens in their relationship with the environment. Community participation in protecting the environment is extremely important, the study of cultural issues in Indonesia cannot be separated from the knowledge of national values. Environmental concerns of coastal residents in Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan, Indonesia in relation to their integrated coastal natural management, including the control, benefits and functions of utilizing coastal natural resources. Utilization of coastal resources includes biological resources. Not only the utilization of biological natural resources, but also ecological services of the coastal natural environment, building intelligence and artificial resources, in terms of managing coastal area resources that bring numerous benefits to human life and other living creatures. Coastal communities, not only makes a living by being fishermen, but also as traders and farmers, because of the biographical nature of the people who also live in the highlands. They can be called agrarian communities or local farmers. Likewise with the topography and the elevation map of the study area, it increase environmental awareness amongst coastal communities and enable them to improve the welfare of the community.

Abstract

This study's objective is to examine the impact of adopting three lines of defense on the performance of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in Indonesia, as moderated by an audit committee. The method employed is quantitative. In Indonesia, the population consists of State-Owned Enterprises. Practitioners, observers, and academics compose the sample. The utilized data is primary data. An online questionnaire was used to collect data. 128 (one hundred twenty-eight) individuals completed an online questionnaire that was sent via email and Whatsapp. The results indicate that line 1 (risk owner) has a positive effect on firm performance, line 2 (risk manager) has a negative effect on firm performance, and line 3 (Internal Audit Unit) has no effect on firm performance. The Audit Committee does not moderate the influence of line 3 (Internal Audit Unit) on firm performance, while it moderates the influence of line 2 (risk management unit) on firm performance.

Abstract

The proposed study introduced the "People's Participation in Community Forest Management". This study was conducted on community forest of the central part of Nepal in Sindhuli district. The main objective of this study was to assess the participation of users group in forest management activities, decision making, benefit sharing mechanism and finding the factors that effect on people's participation. Primary data was collected through preliminary survey, questionnaire survey, focus group discussion and key informant survey. Secondary data was collected from concerned Division Forest Office (DFO), CFUGs operational plan, constitution of CFUGs, minutes, and documents from local government and non-government organizations. The qualitative and quantitative data was analysed using statistical packages SPSS, MS Excel. For qualitative analysis descriptive methods were used and the result was presented in different charts, tables and graphs. From the study, participation of forest users' group was high on forest product collection and distribution and low in plantation in forest management activities, decision making process satisfactory and benefit sharing mechanism was transparent and factors affecting for the participation of users' group was illiteracy and busy in farming. Therefore, this study is supportive for all who work for the improvement of users’ group participation in the community forest management.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the causes of differences in Supreme Court judges' decisions at the cassation and judicial review levels, to identify Supreme Court judges' decisions at the Review level regarding the invalidity of the private land sale and purchase agreement in case number 833/PK/Pdt/2018 from the perspective of contract law as prescribed by the Civil Code. It is a normative or doctrinal juridical legal research using a statute approach, a case approach, and a conceptual approach. The results obtained first, the reason for the difference between the Supreme Court's decisions is from the point of view of the judge's legal considerations. Second, the Supreme Court's Decision Number 833/PK/Pdt/2018, which declares that the Sale and Purchase Agreement is invalid and declared null and void based on the Civil Code, is incorrect. But, as stated in Article 1334 of the Civil Code, the agreement is void because the object of the agreement is an unopened inheritance.

Abstract

Electricity is a primary need for people in the world, including Indonesia. PT. PLN (Persero) is the only electric company in Indonesia that provides electricity. The electricity blackout that occurred on August 4, 2019 in Jakarta as well as in several areas in West Java, Banten and Central Java paralyzed residents' activities, public services and industry. Using descriptive qualitative methods based on Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) with data collected through documents in the form of news related to the electricity blackout, this study tries to identify and describe how the Public Relations of PT. PLN (Persero) as a company that provides electricity uses a strategy to manage and deal with the crisis. The results of this study indicate that the Public Relations of PT. PLN (Persero) uses a combination of primary crisis response strategies between a reduction strategy (minimized) and a rebuild strategy (rebuild). In addition, they also use a secondary crisis response strategy in the form of a boosting strategy and a victim strategy.

Abstract

Several sources of primary Buddhist scriptures, secondary literature, and scientific articles were examined to find out what economic system was derived from the teachings of Buddhism described by Gautama Buddha. The principles of Buddhist economics are investigated from the personal and social ethics of the Buddhists that underlie the system. An economic system that adheres to Buddhist moral norms, and attitudes towards property and wealth that inspire in economic endeavors in particular entrepreneurial behavior. The method used is systematic content analysis. Entrepreneurship based on Buddhist values ​​is also analyzed to be applied in the Student Creativity program in the field of Entrepreneurship. Generosity which is the principle of Buddhist economics in this study is also applied. Through an institution approved by the Directorate General of Buddhist Community Guidance together with the Directorate of Taxes, the Ministry of Finance, six formal institutions similar to the Amil Zakat Agency in Islamic Religious Institutions were obtained. Meanwhile, the selected product is based on the creative economy in the form of a conscious work of art called Catera Zebuart.
