Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze preferences and consumption patterns of tea, specifically tea bags and loose tea, in Kulon Progo and Sleman Regencies, located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study aims to identify factors that influence consumer preferences for tea products. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used in the study. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The sample was determined by purposive sampling, namely by selecting respondents who consume tea bags and loose tea. The results show that consumer preferences for purchasing tea products in Kulon Progo and Sleman Regencies are determined by the location of purchase, namely at stalls, with the majority of respondents choosing black tea with its original flavor in sachet packaging. Meanwhile, in Sleman Regency, consumers prefer large packages for loose tea. Respondents' patterns of consuming tea are generally daily, with tea purchased only once a month, served warm in the morning. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis preferensi dan pola konsumsi teh, khususnya teh celup dan teh tubruk, di Kabupaten Kulon Progo dan Sleman, yang berlokasi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preferensi konsumen terhadap produk teh. Pendekatan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan di dalam penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Sampel ditentukan secara purposive sampling yaitu dengan memilih responden yang mengkonsumsi teh celup dan teh tubruk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa preferensi konsumen terhadap pembelian produk teh di Kabupaten Kulon Progo dan Sleman ditentukan oleh lokasi pembelian yaitu di warung, dengan mayoritas responden memilih teh hitam dengan  rasa asli dalam kemasan sachet. Sementara di Kabupaten Sleman, konsumen memilih kemasan besar untuk teh tubruk. Pola responden dalam mengkonsumsi teh pada umumnya dilakukan setiap hari, dengan pembelian teh hanya sekali dalam sebulan, penyajian teh dilakukan dalam kondisi hangat dan disajikan di pagi hari.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The attack of Sclerotium rolfsii can significantly reduce soybean plant productivity, potentially leading to crop failure. Currently, farmers rely on fungicides to combat this issue. However, the continuous use of chemical control agents poses risks to the environment. Therefore, it is essential to explore alternative methods, such as utilizing biological agents like Trichoderma harzianum, which are more environmentally friendly. This study aims to analyze the effects of time application and the dosage of T. harzianum on reducing the incident of basal stem rot disease caused by S. rolfsii in soybean plants. This research was conducted from June to September 2024 at the Biotechnology and Plant Breeding Laboratory and the Bandongan Teaching Farm greenhouses at UNTIDAR. A Complete Randomized Block Design (3x4) was used in the study. The first factor was the application time of T. harzianum, namely 7 days before planting (T1), at planting time (T2), and 7 days after planting (T3). The second factor was the dosage of T. harzianum, which are 0, 225, 300, and 375 g/polybag. All data were analyzed with ANOVA, while the any significance tested further with orthogonal polynomials. Results indicated that applying T. harzianum 7 days before planting at a dosage of 375 g/polybag effectively reduced both the intensity of fungal attacks and the incidence of the disease. This timing and dosage combination also increased the effectiveness of the control measures and the height of the soybean plants. The interaction between the timing and dosage had a positive impact on reducing disease severity and enhancing control efficacy. T. harzianum demonstrated antagonistic activity against S. rolfsii, likely due to competition for space and nutrients, as well as antibiotic produced by the antagonistic fungi. In conclusion, this study suggests that T. harzianum can effectively inhibit S. rolfsii attacks on soybean plants when applied at the appropriate time and dosage. ABSTRAK Serangan jamur Sclerotium rolfsii pada tanaman kedelai dapat menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas tanaman hingga gagal panen. Saat ini, petani menggunakan fungisida untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Namun demikian, penggunaan agen pengendali kimiawi secara terus menerus berdampak pada kerusakan lingkungan, sehingga perlu dicari alternatif lain dengan memanfaatkan agensia hayati seperti Trichoderma harzianum yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh waktu pemberian dan dosis T. harzianum terhadap serangan jamur S. rolfsii penyebab penyakit busuk pangkal batang pada tanaman kedelai. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-September 2024 di Laboratorium Bioteknologi dan Pemuliaan Tanaman dan greenhouse Bandongan Teaching Farm UNTIDAR. Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (3 x 4) digunakan pada penelitian ini. Faktor pertama yaitu waktu pemberian T. harzianum 7 hari sebelum tanam (T1), saat tanam (T2), dan 7 hari setelah tanam (T3). Faktor kedua adalah dosis T. harzianum yaitu 0, 225, 300 dan 375 g/polybag. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu pemberian T. harzianum 7 hari sebelum tanam dan dosis 375 g/polybag berpengaruh menurunkan intensitas serangan dan kejadian penyakit serta meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian dan tinggi tanaman kedelai. Interaksi antar kedua faktor berpengaruh menurunkan intensitas serangan dan kejadian penyakit serta meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian. T. harzianum memiliki aktivitas antagonisme terhadap patogen S. rolfsii. Diduga terjadi persaingan ruang dan nutrisi, serta aktivitas antibiosis dari jamur antagonis. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa T. harzianum mampu menghambat serangan jamur S. rolfsii pada tanaman kedelai dengan waktu pemberian dan dosis yang tepat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Ornamental plants are a horticultural product that is highly sought after due to their beauty. The high public interest in ornamental plants has encouraged business actors to compete in innovating in marketing their products. Post-COVID-19 pandemic, marketing innovation through the internet (e-commerce) has become a necessity. Ornamental plant sales through the internet can be done in various ways, including direct payments on websites, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with various payment systems and services. This study aims to further understand the effectiveness of ornamental plant business promotion through Instagram and analyze the factors that influence promotional effectiveness related to the AIDA Model. This study uses a quantitative research design with a survey approach. The type of data used is primary data obtained directly from respondents. The research sample was determined purposively, namely followers of the Instagram account syaff.flora who are considered relevant to the research topic. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, where respondents were followers of the Instagram account Syaff Flora. Then, data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test and the Chi-Square test. The results show that the effectiveness of the AIDA Model promotional media through Instagram at the attention and interest stages is in the high category and at the desire and action stages is in the medium category. Meanwhile, the characteristic factors related to promotional effectiveness are only income level, which has a correlation with the attention and action stages. Promotional activity factors related to promotional effectiveness include message style, which has a relationship with all AIDA stages; message clarity, which is related to the attention, interest, and desire stages; message delivery frequency, which is related to the interest, desire, and action stages; and message feedback frequency, which is related to the interest stage. ABSTRAK Tanaman hias termasuk produk hortikultura yang banyak diminati karena keindahannya. Tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap tanaman hias mendorong para pelaku usaha untuk berlomba-lomba melakukan inovasi dalam memasarkan produknya. Pasca masa pandemi Covid-19, inovasi pemasaran melalui internet (e-commerce) telah menjadi sebuah keharusan. Penjualan tanaman hias melalui media internet dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, dapat berupa pembayaran langsung pada website, Twitter, Facebook, maupun Instagram dengan berbagai sistem dan layanan pembayaran. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan lebih dalam untuk memahami efektivitas promosi usaha tanaman hias melalui media Instagram dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas promosi terkait Model AIDA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari responden. Sampel penelitian ditentukan secara purposive, yaitu para pengikut akun Instagram Syaff Flora yang dianggap relevan dengan topik penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online, di mana responden adalah followers akun Instagram Syaff Flora, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank dan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas media promosi Model AIDA melalui Instagram pada tahap perhatian dan minat berada pada kategori tinggi dan pada tahap keinginan dan tindakan berada pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan faktor karakteristik yang berhubungan dengan efektivitas promosi hanya tingkat pendapatan memiliki korelasi dengan tahap perhatian dan tindakan. Faktor kegiatan promosi yang berhubungan dengan efektivitas promosi yaitu gaya pesan memiliki hubungan dengan semua tahapan AIDA; kejelasan pesan berhubungan dengan tahap perhatian, minat dan keinginan; frekuensi penyampaian pesan berhubungan dengan tahap minat, keinginan, tindakan; dan frekuensi umpan balik pesan berhubungan dengan tahap minat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to evaluate and optimize agricultural land use in Tenjo District, Bogor Regency, to increase the availability and economic value of local food commodities. Using a linear optimization model, the study utilized land area data and the rupiah conversion value per hectare for key food commodities such as lowland rice, upland rice, corn, cassava, and sweet potato. The optimization model used an objective function approach to maximize the total rupiah value, with fixed land area and technical constraints. Simulation results show that transferring a small portion of land from low-value commodities to commodities with high economic value can increase total income by approximately: Rp 98–99 billion per year, depending on the optimization approach. An increase of approximately 3% from the current condition. billion per year, depending on the scenario and market prices used. These results confirm that targeted land allocation based on the economic potential of each commodity can increase land use efficiency without having to expand agricultural areas, which is in line with the concept of sustainable agriculture and regional food security. The recommended cropping pattern needs to be implemented through proportional empowerment of farmer groups according to the area of land and labor owned. Information networks on land and human resources must be built and developed so that available resources can be utilized optimally to support comprehensive agricultural development at the regional level. Abstract

Padi merupakan komoditas pangan utama di Indonesia. Pada proses peningkatan hasil produksi panen tanaman padi, terdapat berbagai faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi praktiknya. Salah satunya adalah keberadaan hama. Hama yang berpotensi menurunkan hasil tanaman padi adalah Cnaphalocrosis medinalis (Guen.) yang umum disebut hama pelipat daun. Larva C. medinalis umumnya menyerang daun tanaman padi sehingga menganggu proses fotosintesis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika tingkat serangan C. medinalis pada lahan pertanaman padi. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan persawahan petani Kecamatan Rawamerta, Karawang, Jawa Barat. Intensitas serangan C. medinalis diperoleh dengan pengamatan gejala kerusakan secara langsung pada daun tanaman padi di lahan percobaan. Gejala serangan diamati dua minggu sekali, dimulai dari tanaman berusia 14 HST hingga 70 HST. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan RAK satu faktor untuk memperoleh umur paling rentan serangan C. medinalis. Intensitas serangan C. medinalis yang diperoleh pada lahan percobaan berkisar antara 1,96 – 15,26%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tingkat serangan C. medinalis paling tinggi berada pada umur 14 HST dengan rata-rata intensitas serangan sebesar 9,605%, kemudian menurun pada umur 28 HST, 42 HST, 56 HST, berturut-turut sebesar 4,85%, 4,93%, 3,43% dan tingkat serangan paling rendah berada pada umur tanaman 70 HST sebesar 2,33%. Sehingga, dapat dinyatakan bahwa pengambilan keputusan untuk monitoring dan pengelolaan hama C. medinalis dapat dilakukan sebelum tanaman memasuki umur 14 HST.

Abstract

Green eggplant seeds (Solanum melongena L.) have a relatively short storage life and are prone to deterioration in viability and vigor due to aging during storage. One approach to restore the physiological quality of expired seeds is seed invigoration using natural plant growth regulators (PGRs). This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of several natural PGR sources, namely coconut water, shallot extract, and aloe vera extract, as well as soaking duration, on the viability and early growth of expired green eggplant seeds. The experiment was conducted at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture and Digital Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur, using a factorial Randomized Block Design: type of invigoration material and soaking duration (2 and 4 hours), with three replications. Observed parameters included germination percentage, germination time, and seedling height at 7–10 days after planting (DAP). The results showed that invigoration materials and their interaction with soaking duration significantly to highly significantly affected most observed parameters. Aloe vera extract consistently produced the best results in accelerating germination and enhancing seedling height across all observation periods. These findings indicate that expired green eggplant seeds still possess recoverable physiological potential when treated with appropriate, low-cost, and environmentally friendly natural invigoration materials.

Abstract

Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa) dan ciplukan (Physalis angulata) merupakan biofarmaka underutilized kaya senyawa bioaktif yang pengembangannya menuntut optimasi induksi kalus sebagai basis produksi metabolit sekunder dan perbanyakan sel secara terkontrol. Kombinasi ZPT auksin dan sitokinin pada konsentrasi dan rasio yang tepat berperan penting dalam inisiasi dan perkembangan kalus secara in vitro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji rasio dan konsentrasi auksin indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) dan sitokinin 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) terhadap induksi dan perkembangan kalus rosella dan ciplukan. Eksperimen dirancang sebagai penelitian satu faktor yaitu berbagai rasio-konsentrasi auksin-sitokinin: (Z1) IAA 0,5 ppm + BAP 2,0 ppm; (Z2) IAA 1,0 ppm + BAP 1,5 ppm; (Z3) IAA 1,5 ppm + BAP 1,0 ppm; dan (Z4) IAA 2,0 ppm + BAP 0,5 ppm. Eksplan daun rosella dan daun ciplukan dikultur pada media MS + ZPT sesuai perlakuan hingga 6 minggu setelah inisiasi (MSI). Parameter yang diamati meliputi: waktu muncul kalus, persentase eksplan berkalus (3, 6 MSI), dan warna dan tekstur kalus. Data dianalisis secara parametrik melalui ANOVA + uji BNJ; atau secara non-parametrik melalui uji Kruskall-Wallis + uji Dunn; pada taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan kombinasi IAA + BAP pada semua rasio berhasil memunculkan kalus. Pada rosella, dominansi sitokinin cenderung memunculkan kalus tercepat dan persentase kalus tertinggi. Pada ciplukan, induksi kalus cenderung dihasilkan pada rasio auksin-sitokinin berimbang. Warna kalus didominasi warna hijau keputihan, kekuningan, dan kecoklatan; dengan tekstur kalus remah untuk kalus rosella dan kompak untuk kalus ciplukan. Hasil ini menegaskan sinergi auksin-sitokinin dan interaksinya dengan hormon endogen dalam induksi kalus rosella dan ciplukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kombinasi pupuk organik cair berbasis urine kelinci yang diperkaya Microbacter Alfaafa-11 (MA-11) dan pupuk kandang kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Pusat Pengembangan Benih dan Proteksi Tanaman (P2BPT), Cibubur, Jakarta Timur, pada Februari hingga Juni 2025. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah POC berbasis urine kelinci yang diperkaya MA-11 (P0, P1, P2, P3), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kandang kambing (K1, K2, K3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa POC berbasis MA-11 tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif awal, namun berpengaruh signifikan terhadap parameter generatif, meliputi umur berbunga, bobot polong, bobot biji, diameter biji, jumlah polong, dan jumlah bintil akar. Pupuk kandang kambing berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif dan meningkatkan komponen hasil melalui perbaikan sifat tanah. Terdapat interaksi nyata antara kedua perlakuan pada beberapa parameter hasil, yang menunjukkan adanya efek sinergis antara pupuk organik cair dan padat. Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik umumnya diperoleh pada perlakuan P3 dan K3. Dengan demikian, kombinasi POC berbasis MA-11 dan pupuk kandang kambing efektif dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kedelai melalui peningkatan ketersediaan hara dan aktivitas biologis tanah.

Abstract

Pakcoy plants are a type of horticulture with high economic value that has the potential to be developed. However, pakcoy cultivation is still constrained by the excessive use of inorganic fertilizers without knowing the information on use and the high price of inorganic fertilizers that have the potential to damage the structure in the soil. One alternative is the use of water hyacinth compost to increase soil fertility and reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of water hyacinth compost combined with 50% NPK on growth, production and income analysis. The research has been carried out on the practice land of the Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic in March-April 2026. The research method used a one-factor Group Random Design (RAK) with 4 levels, P0 (100% NPK), P1 (water hyacinth compost 5 tons/ha + NPK 50%), P2 (water hyacinth compost 10 tons/ha + NPK 50%) and P3 (water hyacinth compost 15 tons/ha + NPK 50%) with many replicates 6. The analysis data used ANOVA and continued with the DMRT test of 5%. The results of the study showed that the level of treatment of water hyacinth compost of 10 tons/ha + 50% NPK showed the highest yield on the growth and production of pakcoy plants and produced the highest amount of income.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In efforts to increase crop production, it is currently hampered by various obstacles, including low levels of soil organic matter and inefficiency in the use of inorganic fertilizers such as nitrogen fertilizers. Humic acid can be an alternative to these problems because humic acid has a very high CEC (more than 200 meq/100 g) so that it can be used to slow down the release of nitrogen. Thus, humic acid can increase the efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers and at the same time increase the levels of soil organic matter. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of urea and humic acid fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of pak choi plants. This experiment was carried out from February to March 2025. The experiment was carried out using a Simple Randomized Block Design consisting of twelve treatment combinations and three replications. Observation data were analyzed using the F Test and if there was a difference between the treatments, it was continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test with a 95% confidence level.
