Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to; (1) provide an introduction to teachers at MAN 2 Kudus regarding Virtual Reality learning media as an alternative IT-based learning media and (2) train MAN 2 Kudus teachers to be able to utilize Virtual Reality-based learning media. The methods applied in this service program are the presentation method, the demonstration method, and the practical method. The presentation method is applied in the introduction of hypermedia software using the millelab application, its benefits, and its application in making virtual reality-based media, demonstration methods regarding program operations and practical methods where teachers practice directly making learning media according to their respective subjects with the use of media-based virtual reality. Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide financial management and accounting training for Batik SMEs in Pati Regency. MSMEs have a strategic position in regional and national economic growth in general. Universities assist local governments in developing MSMEs through training, mentoring, and distribution of assistance to MSMEs. This Financial Management and Accounting Training helps MSMEs understand business performance, separate business finance from household finances, know the value of business assets, be able to make tax calculations, and can facilitate access to banking. The methods used in this community service are lectures, simulations, and discussions. This community service has been carried out well and smoothly in June 2021 in the Cooperatives and UMKM Service Hall of Pati Regency.

Abstract

There are not many Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) in Pati are utilizing the marketplace and digital promotion media to marketing their products. Based on the survey, 56% reasoned that they lacked understanding of digital promotional media, 42% said they did not have time to create content for digital marketing and 2% had difficult to access the Internet. Therefore through current service activities, providing skills to UKM Craft Pati through making accessories by utilizing plastic waste (mineral water bottle caps). The sales system uses digital marketing trends as a medium for promoting UKM products. Digital marketing is chosen as a means of promotion and sales because consumers can search for more products on the internet to find the best offers from all sellers compared to traditional methods. This activity get positive response from UMKM actors in Pati with an acceptance rate of UMKM as big as 86.15%.

Abstract

Damaran Village is one of the villages located in the sub-district of the City of Kudus Regency. In the village, there are MSMEs that process bitter gourd into snacks that are nutritious and very beneficial for health. So far, the production process and marketing of bitter gourd products are still carried out traditionally so that the quality and quantity of production are not optimal and the range of promotion is still limited around Kudus city, although there are some requests from outside the city the number is still small due to lack of promotion. The purpose of this community service is to help increase the income and welfare of the bitter melon chip craftsmen. The method of implementing the program is to make a vacuum fryer to fry bitter gourd into chips whose taste and nutrition are maintained. And create an internet platform to promote the results of bitter melon chips online so that they can cover a wider market. The output of the program is to be able to empower the MSME community to further improve their business and also be able to improve the quality and quantity of bitter gourd chips by using vacuum frying, providing understanding to bitter melon chip craftsmen with the application of marketplaces in optimizing product marketing.

Abstract

Cooperatives are legal entities established by individuals or legal entities. Cooperatives are one of the backbones of the Indonesian economy. In running its business the cooperative compiles financial statements consisting of a balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and notes financial statemets. The financial statements function as a information presented by the entity to interested parties (stakeholders) in making economic decisions. Training in preparing financial reports for Cooperatives in Sukabumi City expected to increase the value of the information presented so that it can be used as a tool in decision making.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to optimize the use of the yard to support family food security, help fulfill the family's vegetable needs, and improve community nutrition with family food security. In general, the yard in Pati Kidul Village, Pati District, Pati Regency is still quite potential, so it is necessary to look for a vegetable cultivation technique in the yard to get satisfactory results. The method used is to provide provision in developing techniques for cultivating vegetables in the yard. In addition, training and technical assistance to cultivate vegetables in the yard in verticulture were also carried out to support family food security and. increase in community income. The results of this activity can increase knowledge about sixty percent compared to when they have not implemented technology transfer and direct practice. All participants showed adequate skills when practicing, starting from making planting media, planting, maintaining vegetable crops in their yards. The output of the activity was in the form of a vegetable cultivation technique model and publications in ISSN journals and national seminars.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Hidayatul Atfal building construction began in 2021  until today. However, the construction project has been delayed several times due to some technical issues taking place on the construction site. The first technical issue is that the project was started without any blueprint. As a consequence, the construction workers did not have any reference on how to execute the project. Secondly, it did not have any budget plan either. As a result, there were some building materials left unused. The last is the local community working as construction workers have very limited knowledge on building construction.A civil engineer, particularly an experienced one, is the most suitable solution to overcome those technical issues. Well-experienced civil engineer is able to draw a blueprint, plan budget correctly, identify building materials needed and how much time it takes to complete a construction project. In addition, he can provide assistance for those construction workers during the project. With the help of civil engineer, it is expected that Madrasah Diniyah Hidayatul Atfal construction project can be executed well and is completed in a timely manner.

Abstract

Eco-enzyme is a versatile liquid produced from fermenting kitchen waste for 3 months with brown sugar or molasses or molasses liquid with organic kitchen waste such as fruit and vegetable peels using a 1:3:10 composition. The purposes of this outreach activity are to reduce the organic waste produced by the kitchen, which becomes pollution in the Dukuh Lawang RT 01 environment and to help the community to process organic waste or kitchen waste in Dukuh Lawang RT 01 easily. The benefits of eco-enzyme liquid are for cleaning floors, for disinfectants and plant fertilizers.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada Sekolah PAUD Taman Kanak-Kanak Al Ikhlash Pekalongan Kabupaten Jepara ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas  penguasaan materi administrasi sekolah, pembuatan administrasi, meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam mengelola dan mempersiapkan adminsitrasi sekolah agar lebih baik, serta adanya jadwal pelatihan yang diperuntukkan untuk para guru. Kebaruan dari artikel ini adalah memuat tentang pentingnya pelatihan dan penguasaan materi praktek administrasi sekolah bagi guru paud taman kanak-kanak al ikhlash. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah Peserta dapat menguasai materi pelatihan yang telah diberikan serta peserta dapat mengikuti dan mempraktekkan pembuatan administrasi sekolah.

Abstract

Ploso Village, Jati District, Kudus is one of the tofu production centers in Kudus, there are about 30 tofu industries. The existence of a tofu factory will cause waste problems, both liquid waste, and solid waste. The percentage of solid waste in the form of tofu dregs is around 70% and is currently not widely used. This solid waste will cause environmental pollution if it is not used immediately. Tofu waste contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and organic carbon (C) which can be used as compost to increase soil and plant fertility. Community service activities with the title "Utilization of Tofu Dregs Waste into Compost in the Tofu Industry in Ploso Village, Jati District, Kudus Regency" resulted in a model of utilizing tofu solid waste into compost that can be used for plant cultivation in Ploso Village or on a larger scale it can be commercialized so that it can increase people's income.
