Abstract

This paper aims to determine factors that influence millennials generation at Jabodetabek in selecting a bank for their financial transaction. The significance level on banking selection criteria such as people influence, location, facilities offered, bank personnel, easiness in the process, quality of services, and the cost was also being researched. This study describes how customer ranks these factors by their priorities. The total sample of this study is 224 samples from millennials generation (born during 1980-2000) domiciled at Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). This study finds that convenient ATM location is the main factor for millennials at Jabodetabek in selecting a bank for their financial transaction

Abstract

Tempat tidur rumah sakit atau yang disebut juga dengan hospital bed adalah jenis alat kesehatan yang dipakai hampir di semua jenis fasilitas kesehatan. Seiring dengan pengembangan program BPJS, maka fasilitas kesehatan baru yang membutuhkan hospital bed juga meningkat jumlahnya. Dalam pengadaan hospital bed, fasilitas kesehatan perlu mempertimbangkan beberapa faktor, diantaranya adalah harga dan merk. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, survey diadakan terhadap 41 fasilitas kesehatan untuk mengidentifikasi kedua faktor tersebut menggunakan explanatory research. Data hasil survey diolah menggunakan software Microsoft Excel 2016 dan IBM SPSS 22.0 menghasilkan pearson correlation sebesar 0.108. Uji statistik dilakukan menggunakan korelasi bivariate yang menunjukkan korelasi linear yang lemah antara faktor harga dan merk.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of green brand knowledge, consumer’s attitude towards green product and green brand positioning to the green product purchase intention The Body Shop. Questionnaires with 17 instruments are being distributed to 304 respondent in Jakarta, Depok, Bogor, Bekasi and Tangerang to gain the data. The data then being processed using computer software SPSS. Based on the research, green brand knowledge has the biggest influence on green product purchase intention. Cosmetic companies like The Body Shop may use promotion strategy to improve consumer’s green product knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis hubungan antara motivasi berbelanja yang menggunakan aplikasi belanja online dengan faktor sosiodemografi: usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan, lokasi tempat tinggal dan preferensi moda belanja seseorang di Indonesia. Kuesioner ‘Shopping Motivational Value Questionnaire” (SMVQ) dalam penelusuran studi pustaka merupakan salah satu alat ukur terbaru yang valid dan reliabel untuk menilai hal tersebut. Penelitian yang mengeksplorasi motivasi berbelanja dengan aplikasi belanja online menggunakan kuesioner yang valid dan reliabel belum pernah dilakukan di Indonesia. Implikasi alat ukur ini dapat digunakan lebih luas dalam menggali motivasi seseorang dengan faktor terkait lainnya.

Abstract

Focus of this research is to study factors influencing the decision-making to purchase houses for low-income communities (“MBR”) in which the objective is to find the factors considered by the MBR to purchase a house. The survey covers Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (“Jabodetabek”) conducted through online media and direct meeting with 251 respondents (188 respondents is categorized as the MBR and intend to purchase houses). Questionnaire uses Likert Scale with factor and descriptive analysis. Based on result, the considering factors are price, location, promotion, facilities and financing in which the most dominant factors are price and location.

Abstract

More than 55 percent of Indonesian workers consist of informal workers. This includes the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector as well. Most of the job in F&B industry did not require high skill and experience due to the job replaceability nature. This led to lack of employment security, regulation, and social safety net. Most of them are paid in day to day basis with low job security. This factor leads to high workforce turnover rate. In the other hand, the Informal Small-Medium Enterprises (SME) owner in F&B sector did not have enough resource to hire formal workers. Because formal workers must have social security, and several other benefits that the business owner has to provide. Therefore, there are high demands for informal workers to satisfy their needs. This paper written know what criteria that the informal SME owner in F&B sector in Jakarta consider of hiring to support their business.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to dig deeper into what is actually assessed by the talent acquisition process in finding the workforce that the company needs. The methodology that the author uses is mixed-method research, which is a combination of qualitative research and quantitative research. Quantitative research was carried out by distributing questions to 150 respondents of HR employees in Jakarta with > 2 years of experience, who worked in the technology, service, and/or consulting industry, who were members of the FTHR group. The implementation of quantitative and qualitative research on HR practitioner respondents who work in various industries and have long experience in their fields, has given the author a new understanding that was previously poorly understood. The results of this research help to create a clearer picture of the opportunities that can be created through recruitment problems, as well as inconsistent recruitment results that can lead to continuing problems.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari layanan strategy execution yaitu untuk membantu perusahaan dalam merealisasikan strategi bisnis guna mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. Hal utama yang menunjang pencapaian tujuan tersebut yaitu adanya dukungan dari masing-masing stakeholder eksternal pada setiap fase stakeholder engagement. Namun, keberagaman tiap stakeholder menghambat para penyedia layanan (service provider) sulit untuk memperoleh sokongan yang diharapkan. Sebagai hasilnya, penyedia layanan tertarik untuk menggunakan perangkat teknologi informasi guna meningkatkan efektivitas stakeholder engagement melalui pengelolaan interaksi dan komunikasi. Harapannya, pengalaman engagement pengguna meningkat dan hubungan baik dengan stakeholder eksternal semakin terjalin. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan fungsional perangkat teknologi informasi melalui elaborasi kegiatan strategy execution dengan bantuan kerangka kerja engagement. Hasil studi ini sangat penting untuk menguatkan layanan terkait. Guna menyajikan hasil yang komprehensif, penulis menggunakan beberapa pendekatan studi: studi pustaka, kajian dengan metode kualitatif serta kuantitatif. Adapun lingkup stakeholder eksternal yang dilibatkan yaitu hanya perusahaan nasional. Peneliatan ini berhasil menyimpulkan secara rinci kebutuhan fungsional perangkat teknologi informasi di setiap fase stakeholder engagement. Keuntungan dari stakeholder engagement dan layanan strategy execution juga disajikan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Understanding of green buying behavior among general consumers in urban cities Indonesia is the important foundation for green marketing. This study aims to examine the determining factors and their significance in predicting the behavior. From 278 data gathered from online questionnaire that spread to respondent, which domiciled in Jakarta Greater Area, only 265 data are eligible to use for conduct analysis. Consist of 28 items, factor analysis is used to corroborate the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and sample adequacy is used prior to ensuring factor analysis. To test the hypothesis, data studies are tested using regression analysis. Findings confirm that Environmental Concern, Personal Norms, Willingness to Pay Premium, and Green Trust relate positively to Green Purchase Intention and Perceived Value as the substantial predictor variable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between organizational justice, supervisory justice, authoritarian organizational culture, organization-employee relationship quality, and work engagement with the turnover intention of generation Y employees. An online survey was conducted on 290 people in Indonesia. Survey responses were recorded using a Likert Scale with a scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree). The results of the survey analysis were obtained by using regression to predict the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The results showed that the variable which has a positive relationship with the turnover intention in generation Y employees is authoritarian organizational culture. As for the organization-employee relationship quality variable shows importance because it has the most significant relationship to retain generation Y employees. The research contributes to the previous research on determinants of employee turnover intention in that it is adding the work engagement variable as a new determinant of the turnover intention of generation Y employees.
