Abstract

The Effect of Various Combinations of Planting Media and NPK Fertilizers on Turmit Tolman Growth This research was conducted on food and horticultural crops. Colomadu Karanganyar December 2022 Essay March 2023. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of different culture media and doses of npk fertilizer on the growth of lymph turmite (curreal domestica val) and look for the composition of the plant media (curreal domestica val.) which is good for the growth of turmeric. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor to give a variety of plant media (M) consisting of 4 degrees (M0) soil (control), (M1) ground + rice chaff, (M2) soil + charcoal rice chaff, (M3) soil + cocopeat. The second factor is npk (n) fertilization consisting of 4 degrees (N0) without dose (0 g / plant ), (N1) 150kg / ha (5.39 g / plant ), (N2) 200 kg / ha ( 7.19 g / plant ), ( N3 ) 250 kg / ha ( 8.99 g / plant ). Observation data in the analysis using a range of footprint analysis (anova) and continued with a bnj test at a rate of 5%. The results of the study showed that 1) The treatment of planting media has a significant effect on the observation of the wet weight of the stalk, but has no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, wet weight of rhizomes 2) The treatment of NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, wet weight of stalks, wet weight of rhizomes 3) The interaction between treatments has a significant effect on the number of leaves, but has no significant effect on plant height, wet weight of stalks, wet weight of rhizomes.

Abstract

Taro flour has higher protein and lower fat than rice flour. Fermentation has an important role in the degradation of complex compounds into simple compounds so that they are easily soluble. The research aims to determine the best taro varieties and determine the effect of fermentation on the taro flour proximate. The research used taro varieties Pratama 1, 2, and 3. Fermentation was carried out using tape yeast for 0 and 72 hours. The experimental design used a randomized design with 6 treatments and 4 replications. Proximate analysis was carried out on taro flour. The analysis results were tested using ANOVA. Next, a follow-up test was used to determine whether there were real differences between the various treatments using the DMRT test (Duncan Multiple Range Test). The research results showed that there were significant differences between treatments. The highest weight of flour of the Pratama 3 variety without fermentation. The highest water content is 9.67% of the Pratama 3 variety without fermentation. Ash content of Pratama 1 variety without fermentation. The highest fat content in Pratama 3 without fermentation. The highest protein content in Pratama 3 with fermentation. The highest carbohydrate content in Pratama 1 with fermentation.

Abstract

Passion fruit (Passiflora edulis) is a type of fruit that is grown in Malaysia. Yellow passion fruit is more prominent than purple passion fruit in terms of comparison to farmers and users. Some of the nutritional contents found in passion fruit are citric acid, ascorbic acid, niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, iron, carotene, phosphorus, minerals, calcium, fiber, energy, fat and protein. This study aims to evaluate the physichalmical and contrinatrium of passion fruit cordial drink with the addition of sugar, salt and pandan leaves. The analysis carried out is the analysis of pH, TSS (Brix), Color and Sensory Test. The results of the study showed that the passion fruit cordial drink with the treatment of basic passion fruit cordial, passion fruit cordial and salt, passion fruit cordial and pandan and passion fruit cordial with salt and pandan had pH, (2.2; 2.1; 1.8; 1;8), TSS (74%; 70%; 70%; 74%), color (29.6; 27.4; 26.6; 26.5), sensory test color, taste, and overall acceptance.

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of innovation on policy formulation in Indonesian food industries and the significance of operational research in this particular setting. The systematic literature study demonstrates that firm policies have been considerably transformed by breakthroughs in product development, technology, and business models. The efficiency and effectiveness of these policy adjustments can be enhanced by utilizing operational research approaches such as mathematical modeling or simulation. The study highlights the influence of particular contextual elements, such as regulatory frameworks and customer preferences in Indonesia, on the dynamics of innovation-policy. Nevertheless, it highlights a research void caused by a dearth of empirical investigations that explore this correlation through operational research in Indonesian food industries. The article provides a comprehensive summary of current knowledge, emphasizing important topics such as digital transformation and sustainability, while also laying the groundwork for future research.

Abstract

North Padang Lawas Regency is one of the largest districts for coffee production centers in North Sumatra, one of which is in Sipiongot Village. Sipiongot Village is the village with the largest coffee production followed by the number of farmers. Sipiongot Village has a small number of farmers. Coffee in Sipiongot Village is relatively low compared to other sub-districts. This can mean that the land area in Sipiongot Village is large, so that to increase the productivity of plants, development can be carried out. In the research, it can also be concluded that coffee production which decreases with decreasing area results in decreasing farmer income. Another cause is the high cost structure of coffee cultivation and post-harvest, resulting in farmers' welfare levels decreasing. Therefore, a problem formulation can be formulated, namely: 1. What is the structure of production costs for coffee farmers in Sipiongot Village. 2. What is the income of coffee farmers in Sipiongot Village? This research uses quantitative methods then income analysis and data analysis. Quantitative analysis is carried out to see the condition of the location, the condition of the farmers. Analyze income channels, and the function of income (marketing). With the research results, the R/C ratio value for cash costs obtained by farmers in Sipiongot Village is IDR. 59,756,078 and the R/C ratio value for total costs is Rp. 68,980,131. This proves that the coffee farming business run by coffee farmers in Sipiongot Village is less profitable.
