Abstract

The high population growth rate in the world has increased the need for the transportation sector. The people of Palu city use public transportation modes rather than private modes of transportation. These impacts increase the growth particularly relevant to the transportation sector resulting in human dependence on fossil fuels, global warming, poverty, and social inequality. This paper aims to determine the community's level of importance and satisfaction with local transportation (Angkot) in Palu City. It is hoped that it can help the interest of the people of Palu City in using city transportation. The method used in this paper is Importance-Performance analysis with Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the analysis. There are five essential variables whose performance must be improved, then nine critical variables that align with expectations so that these variables must improve, and two parameters that are not important but have an above-average performance level.

Abstract

Indonesia has a large population and high mobility in daily activities. In meeting mobility needs, traditional public transport has become a hallmark of every city. However, changes in societal behavior have caused traditional public transport to be replaced by online transportation. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of user satisfaction with traditional public transport. The research was conducted in Pontianak City with traditional public transport (Oplet) passengers as respondents. Data collection for October 2022 through an online survey. The study's Importance Performance Analysis results show that there still needs to be a gap between importance and performance. The mean importance value is 4.09 with a performance of 3.87, so the gap is 0.22. While the parameters to improve Oplet services are passenger capacity and driver communication.

Abstract

Infrastructure building is part of national development to provide services to the community. Road infrastructure development as an infrastructure for streamlined land transport. The problem with the current condition is that the operational road for access to waste disposal at the TPA Bangkonol is still in an unpaved road condition. The research mainly focuses on vertical alignment design. It is expected to get the results of efficient geometric design and meet the safety and comfort aspects. From the results of this study obtained vertical alignment calculation data, there are seven convex verticle curves and eight concave verticle curves on the operational road of TPA Bangkonol Pandeglang Regency. The technical design criteria for the design speed are 30km/hour. A maximum longitudinal grade value is 8% also a vertical Lmin is 18m. Geometric calculation of the TPA operational road based on the Highway Geometric Design Indonesia that can meet the safety and comfort aspects of drivers.

Abstract

Using public transportation to support one's mobility causes one to consider their mode of transportation more carefully depending on how vital one views using public transportation. Students who depend on public transit for daily mobility are particularly concerned about rearranging their priorities by those demands. This essay aims to investigate student preferences for using public transportation. With the information gathered from the questionnaire for 100 respondents, the Spider Chart was used to assess the approach utilized in choosing public transportation based on the level of interest of Mercu Buana University students. The results of the study show that there is student interest in offering public transportation to campus. Based on the ten parameters asked, students gave relatively high responses. Safety is essential for both men and women when selecting public transportation, with average values of 9.0 and 9.3 being the highest

Abstract

To support National Economic Development and the development and improvement of economic activities in Java, the Solo-Yogyakarta-Nyia Kulon Progo Toll Road Section I Package 1.1 Solo – Klaten (STA 0+000 - 22+300) was built. Here the contractor is PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. This corridor has a strategic role in the Java Island toll road network system. The research on some roads is to make horizontal alignments using the manual method, which will be compared with secondary data on the Kartasura access ramp. In the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there are two horizontal alignment curves consisting of 2 SCS bends in planning. At the Spiral Circle Spiral bend, there is a difference in the parameters Lc and Lt of -27,878 m and TS of -15,956, while the other parameters Xs, Ys, K, and Es are the same. AutoCAD® Civil 3D is considered more effective in geometric road planning because it helps the process of planning drawings simultaneously, making the planning process easier and faster. Using manual calculations has a greater risk, such as arithmetic errors and inaccuracies, and requires a longer time.

Abstract

The high number of vehicles and the position of the railway line, which is on the same level as the road, can cause congestion. One of the sources of traffic jam locations in Bogor is on Jalan Re. Martadinata. The purpose of this research is to analyze the perceptions of road users on the Martadinata Bogor Flyover. The data collection method was carried out by distributing online questionnaires using a platform, Gform, containing seven related parameters before and after the construction of the flyover. The results of the respondents' answers were processed using the Microsoft Excel application and presented as a spider chart. In the results of the respondent's assessment, all parameters experienced an increase. Three parameters have the highest gap values, and road users and respondents feel the increase, including traffic density, accessibility, and comfort for road users. In addition, there are three parameters with the lowest Gap values, including road conditions, environmental conditions, and road components

Abstract

The Budget Plan is an important process in project planning as it forms the basis for making a price offer and estimation framework that will be used in tendering. It aims to consider the cost involved during the project implementation. The aim of this study is to determine which method is more economical in estimating the budget cost using the 2022 AHSP and 2022 HSPK methods. The research method used is a combination of observation and comparative quantitative methods. Observation was carried out through direct observation of structural work and work methods, while comparative quantitative method aims to estimate budget costs using the 2022 AHSP and 2022 HSPK methods. Based on the cost estimate, it can be concluded that the labor cost using the AHSP method is IDR 5,305,910,140 and using the HSPK method is IDR 31,967,258,039 with a difference percentage of 33.74%. The material cost using the AHSP method is IDR 30,389,347,431 and using the HSPK method is IDR 22,208,028,819 with a difference percentage of 0.49%. The budget plan using the AHSP method is IDR 31,980,611,351 and using the HSPK method is IDR 28,189,908,555 with a difference percentage of 5.24%. In this study, the result shows that the most economical budget cost estimate was obtained by using the HSPK method in the overall budget plan, as well as labor and material costs.

Abstract

The Indonesians who live on various islands have a wide range of identities. This identity is unquestionably susceptible to a variety of racism and SARA-related issues. As a consequence of this, these issues have an effect everywhere, particularly on the political front. Identity politics is a phenomenon that arises when political considerations and diversity or identity issues intersect. In Indonesia and other nations, identity politics is a frequent issue. This frequently occurs in Indonesian political elections, such as presidential, legislative, and district/city regional head elections. These issues give rise to the idea of social identity, which impacts multiculturalism. Consequently, politics in Indonesia began to intersect, resulting in various aspects being regarded as opposing. In Indonesia, a variety of examples that connect politics and identity necessitate a variety of concepts, which are then linked to issues that require investigation. After that, we discuss the various ideas and factors that cause identity politics to affect society. As a result, community and interpersonal divisions are a concern as the rise of identity politics raises issues of merit and disadvantage

Abstract

Semarang City, the capital city of Central Java Province, is one of the cities with a dense population in Indonesia of 1.7 million people and ranks 4th in the region with a population of Central Java. With increasing population growth and limited land for infrastructure development, adding a building floor can solve infrastructure with limited land by utilizing every building space. This study uses the Meyerhof method in 1956 regarding the bearing capacity of deep foundations using NSP-T data and ETABS v18.1 application as an analysis of the superstructure. The results of this study found that the carrying capacity of single and group foundations with Meyerhof calculations with a foundation bearing capacity of 906.189 tons was able to support the maximum load of the superstructure of 647.637 tons after obtaining the addition of one floor and changing the steel roof structure to a concrete slab roof by using the roof as open areas and connections between buildings.
