Abstract

The geometric planning of the road has been made more convenient by technological advances in construction, which have led to innovations that are still growing. With the use of Autocad® Civil 3D, the process of planning the Indramayu-Jatibarang roadways is complete. This paper aims to explain how to plan roadways geometrically with Autocad® Civil 3D and to provide the reader a knowledge of how Autocad® Civil 3D can speed up and simplify work processes. The approach in this planning uses many programs, including Google Earth for determining the coordinates, Global Mapper for obtaining the site contour, and Autocad® Civil 3D for concluding the horizontal alignment. The process of designing with Autocad® Civil 3D is one of the results of this planning.

Abstract

Jalan Braga is a modern tourist area located in the center of Bandung City with its strategic location and being in the middle of the city invites many visitors with various modes of transportation to pass through the road. The uniqueness of this street lies in its distinctive pedestrian street with Dutch heritage buildings and paintings made by the Bandung painting artist community, which affect the level of pedestrian service. This study was structured to evaluate the service level of existing Pedestrian Facilities referring to the Technical Planning Guidelines. The analytical method used is Index Performance Analysis by comparing the value of Performance and Interest in Pedestrian Facilities in the City of Bandung. The research results show that the average performance index is 4.40, the average interest index is 3.00, and the average GAP is 1.19. Most suggestions were obtained for increasing the comfort of the pedestrians and the availability of seating facilities.

Abstract

With a length of approximately 2,818 kilometers, the Trans Sumatra Highway connects cities from Lampung to Aceh. Meticulous planning and adherence to the geometric and technical requirements of the route are required to provide good road service. The purpose of this paper is to specifically redesign the current route on the Terbanggi Besar-Pematang Panggang section of the highway. The information used in this report as a guide for re-planning came from the results of field surveys. The geometric design of this highway was carried out using the manual calculation method based on the Road Design Standards of Indonesia 2021 and visualized using AutoCAD® 2D. Based on available data, a design speed (VD) of 120 kph is determined according to the maximum value on flat terrain on the highway. As a result of data processing on a particular road section, a horizontal alignment with a full circle curve type with a radius of 1500 m was created. Meanwhile, a sag vertical curve type is obtained in the vertical alignment with a length value at one point of the curve (L) of 75.6 m

Abstract

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in modern times has become a prevalent issue in various parts of the world. The reasons are passenger appeal and expandability, high performance, and quality, as well as its buildability quickly, step-by-step, and ergonomics. With all this flexibility, BRT can provide high-quality transit performance over a wide range of geographic areas outside of dedicated lanes. This paper aims to find out the passenger occupancy phenomena of BRT in the main corridors in Jakarta. The hope is that BRT operators and regulators can optimally provide services for users after knowing the growing trend. The method used is to know the trend based on the graph of the number of BRT users in 2019-2020. The study results concluded trend of annual passengers has decreased by more than 50%, which is thought to be due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. While the monthly passenger trend will increase by 14% in November and December, this is a due accumulation of activities at the end of the year. Furthermore, the daily passenger trend is dominated by weekdays on Mondays, with the number of passengers 28% above the daily average

Abstract

The International Port of Kijing is a National Strategic Project built as part of the Pontianak Port development. Therefore, it is necessary to design road geometrics to support the port's service level. This research proposes the relocation and geometric layout of the port of Kijing access road. The Sei Duri-Mempawah Section in West Kalimantan is where the data was collected. The design method used is SE PDGJ 2021 and finalized by AutoCAD®2D. The research results obtained design speed (Vr) = 60 km/hour, superelevation (e) = 8%, full circle horizontal curved type with the radius of curve design (R) = 500 m and intersection angle (ꞵ) = 35°, obtained horizontal arch length (Lc) = 305.37 m. Vertical alignment calculations are performed from the STA. 0+000 up to SAT. 1+400, we get a vertical curve (Lv) = 50 m and five vertical curves consisting of 3 crests and two sag curves.

Abstract

Online transportation has appeared quite attached to our ears in recent years. With increasingly advanced digital technology, many new platforms have emerged, such as Gojek, Grab, and others. This paper aims to find out the public's choice of online transportation in Jakarta amidst increasingly severe traffic jams. The method used in this study was carried out quantitatively by distributing questionnaires to 100 correspondents on social media. As a result, the level of importance of all online transport parameters is considered very important, with an average of 4.27. While the performance value obtained is slightly below 4.25, which means it is still considered satisfactory. So, the gap between performance and interest is manageable, only -0.02.

Abstract

Fluctuations in world oil prices and subsidy reduction programs have increased the price of fuel oil in Indonesia. Such conditions affect the decision on transportation mode choice for everyone, and company employees are no exception. This paper aims to analyze the phenomenon of changes in transportation choices due to fuel increases. The method used is a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents at the Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT) Depo Project office. Data processing is done by using radar chart analysis with Microsoft Excel tools. The results of this study showed ten variables that had different levels of influence. There are three primary parameters: travel time, punctuality, and travel distance for men; travel distance, number of trips, and travel companions for women. So, the travel time parameter has the most significant influence on transportation mode choices for men, and the travel distance parameter has the most significant influence on transportation mode choices for women.

Abstract

Congestion in Indonesia is a complex problem to overcome, caused by the large number of vehicles that are not matched by optimal road capacity and management. This often happens in community activity centers that are forced to park on the street with many vehicles that are not matched by optimal road capacity and management. This often happens in community activity centers that are forced to park on the street. This study aims to analyze the impact of on-street parking. The data was taken at the duchy's traditional market in West Java, Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative, carried out directly or through field surveys, referring to ICHM 1997. The results and conclusions show that on-street parking affects on-road performance in the Traditional Market Kadipaten.
