Abstract

The New Renewable Energy Bill or better known as the EBT Bill is a discourse to provide a legal framework regarding policy stipulation, management, supply, and utilization of new and renewable energy. The EBT Bill is expected to be a structured and directed guideline in its implementation from a national to regional scale. With the enactment of the EBT Bill, the use of fossil energy must gradually stop. So it is necessary to look for other alternatives as a source of energy, especially in liquid fuels. One of the potentials that Indonesia as an archipelagic country can exploit is its marine products. E.cottonii is one of Indonesia's marine products that has the potential to be processed into bioethanol. The E.cottonii processing industry is spread across various regions of the Republic of Indonesia. Abundant production is also followed by an abundance of residual production waste. This waste is sometimes if not managed properly it will contribute to the emergence of environmental pollution. Therefore, the waste generated from the E.cottonii processing industry should be optimized by making bioethanol. E.cottonii waste which is used as bioethanol can be categorized as a 2nd generation biofuel, of course it will not disturb the stability of foodstuffs. This optimization step is carried out as a form of accelerating the use of new and renewable energy. It is also hoped that the utilization of this waste can be used as a source of liquid fuel to support operations within the ministry of defense.

Abstract

Fatigue has been stated as one of the main factors causing accidents in various countries. One of the efforts that can be made to prevent the risk of an accident is to detect as early as possible the driver's condition before starting the trip. One example of a driving profession is the driver of a combat vehicle. Busy work schedules and changing service schedules can result in combat vehicle drivers experiencing a decrease in the quality and quantity of sleep associated with increased fatigue at work. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the level of fitness for the duty of soldiers. The research was held at the TNI Soldier Education Center using a type of Tank fighting vehicle. This study used the Psychomotor Vigilance Task (PVT) application as a measuring tool for data collection, with a total of 8 respondents. Data processing using Wilcoxon's non-parametric statistical test. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the average value of response time and drowsiness, but the number of misses showed a significant difference in conditions after driving for 2 hours, and after driving for a total of 3 hours.

Abstract

Along development of technology from time to time, makes the shipping sector have experienced development. This made the Indonesian geverment place the maritime sector into a priority program in national development. The development of ships occur from various scopes, this things takes the development of ships in terms of the number of hulls such as single hull (monohull), double hull (catamaran), and with three hulls (trimaran). This research uses a literature method that will analyze the results of previous research related to the ship’s performance. The purpose of this research to determine the best performance between ships with monohull, catamaran and also trimaran forms. The results of this research are expected to be a basic reference for selecting the ship’s hull to be fabricated in the future, whether in terms of tourism, military, etc. the results of this research indicate in terms of stability ships with trimaran hulls have good stability among others. This is because trimaran ships have a larger surface area than monohull and catamaran. With the ratio of the width and height of the ship makes the catamaran have good stability. In terms of resistance, catamaran ships have the smallest resistance than others, but this influenced by the demihull distance factor which makes the waves formed from each hull not collide with each other. In terms of seakeeping, the catamaran is the best in case of heaving, rolling and pitching conditions from all heading angles.

Abstract

The physical development of the city of Samarinda that is not in harmony between the existence of Built Space and the distribution of Green Open Space has an impact on changes in the urban microclimate. These changes occur in microclimate elements such as temperature, humidity, intensity of sunlight and wind. If the microclimate element changes, it is feared that a change will occur in a direction that is not in accordance with the comfort of the human body condition. Then it becomes a question in this study, namely how is the relationship between regional temperature and the distribution of green open space in Samarinda City. The targets carried out to achieve the research objectives are to analyze the temperature distribution of the Samarinda City area, analyze the distribution of Samarinda City Green open space, analyze the characteristics of Samarinda City Green open space, and analyze the relationship between regional temperature and the distribution of Samarinda City Green open space. To answer this goal, this research uses interpretation analysis of Landsat 8, Sentinel 2 imagery and statistical analysis in the form of regression analysis. In the sentinel image analysis, the data obtained are the distribution of temperature and the distribution of green open space. Where the minimum temperature is 29.8oC, maximum temperature is 38.8oC, and the distribution of green open space is obtained. The results of the ANN analysis show that there are 4 categories of green open space distribution data, namely clustered, spread out, uniform, and non-green open space. After the data obtained from the two analyzes, a quantitative analysis was carried out using SPSS programming to obtain the relationship between the Y variable and the X variable. In this analysis, the calculated F value was 1.930 with a significance level of 0.009 where the regression model can be used to predict the independent variables in this data. RTH with temperature showed a significant closeness. In the research area, it is stated that green open space has a significant relationship to the regional temperature distribution. In addition, the research findings also show that the ratio of green open space, the distribution of green open space, and the percentage of dense vegetation have an inverse relationship, which means that if green open space increases then the temperature decreases and vice versa.

Abstract

As a necessity of the globalization process, the development of society due to advances in information and communication technology is difficult to avoid. Globalization is an open door for the entry of foreign cultural influences, including ideology. At this time, Indonesia is an arena for the struggle for two ideologies, namely liberal democracy and radical Islam. The two ideologies are equally dangerous because they can tear the long-established national knitting together, as well as eliminate the Indonesian identity which is Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Therefore, what needs to be done is to face it with a responsible attitude and eliminate the negative impacts caused or work around it so as to create an advanced society with an Indonesian perspective on the basis of Pancasila. Pancasila as the state ideology must be grounded in the community. One way is to find common ground between the values in Pancasila and the values of the cultural wisdom of ethnic groups in Indonesia.
