Development Innovation Journal published starting from volume 01 of 2013 when it was still under the Bappeda Lampung Province in the Field of Research and Development under the name Journal of Development Innovation. Then since the enactment of Local Regulation of Lampung Province No. 3 of 2014 Regional Research and Development Agency of Innovation Lampung Province was formed on August 8, 2014. Field of Publication and Information one of the main tasks is the journal and journal title changed from Journal of Development Innovation to Journal of Innovation and Development. Furthermore, based on Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2016 Regional Research and Development Agency (Balitbangnovda) Lampung Province again changed into Regional Research and Development Agency (Balitbangda) Lampung Province, Division of Science and Technology oversees Sub Division Data Dissemination and Publication Kelitbangan as a manager of journals and the name of the journal was again changed to Journal of Development Innovation. Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know the potential of organic waste in traditional market in Bandar Lampung that can be used as raw materials of composting, to know the quality of compost that was produced, and the biogas production from composting. This research was done by two steps, (1) measurement the weight and volume of organic waste and (2) compost and biogas production. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive method that were shown on table and graph. The results showed that the potential of organic waste from five traditional markets in Bandar Lampung are 10.277 ton/day total weight and 43.378 m3/day total volume. The characteristics of compost which was produced are temperature 29.75oC, water content 89.41%, pH 5.31, C/N ratio 6.90, N-total 1.79%, phosphor (P) 1.05% and calium (K) 1.15%. The cumulative biogas production from 60 kgs organic waste during 28 days was 55.00 L with composition consist of N2 80.603%, CH4 5.520% and CO2 13.877%. The organic waste from five traditional markets in Bandar Lampung has potential to produce 6.166 ton of compost and 9,420.58 L of biogas.

Abstract

In terms of traffic volume, land transportation plays an important role at Lampung Province. In land transport sub-sector at Sumatera Region, road transportation still dominate, especially for the movement of the passengers and goods. Specifically for the transport of goods, trains is primary conveyance to insure transportation continuity from commodity sourcing to processing place, marketing spot, or transfer spot to airport, bus station or shipping dock. Coal is greatly potential goods that can transport at Lampung particularly and generally at Sumatera. Coal from mine site at Tanjung Enim, South Sumatera, carried to Tarahan Port by train along the 60 railway coach each series of train and each railway coach load 50 ton coal. But there are still companies that use trucks to transport coal. It makes a negative externality for the residents who live along the streets be passed by coal trucks. The negative externality that appear is the destruction of a nation road and road infrastructure, traffic jam, pollution and the number of traffic accidents caused by coal trucks. Research conducted in three mining companies, they are PT. Bukit Asam Tbk, that used train, and two other companies, PT. Sumatera Bahtera Raya dan PT. Putera Lampung, that used trucks. Data collection was conducted using survey and interview. From analysis we can take that the factors affected the company in determining transportation was location of the mine and stockpile and The company's production targets. For transport costs per tonne/km railway has the advantage has the advantage of cheaper costs for large loads and further distance but less flexible to reach certain places. So, trucks still needed for companies that less production. Special line for coal trucks need for the trucks do not pass the highway that make destruction of a nation road and traffic jam in the interest of private companies.

Abstract

Blind sonar is a tool which especially designedto help people who suffer blindness, so with it they can navigate on walking. Blind sonaris working with a principal of distance sensor like a natural sensor of a bat, which is designed using ultrasonic sensor SRF 04. This blind sonar usetwo distance sensors which appliedon the device, one of it is located on top, and the other one is located in front of the device. The front distance sensor is used for detecting an obstacles like a hole, broken way or even a big stone on their way. When the sensor detecting an obstacle, it will turn on the small motor, and it will give a vibration which will be felt on the hand of the user. This vibration will indicate that there is obstacle in front of the user, like a hole, broken road or a stone. The top distance sensor is used to indicate an obstacle in top area, like a branch of tree,the edge of the door or the window. The vibration sign will give a navigation to the blind people to navigate on walking. The hopeis that blind sonar can give a best response from detecting any obstaclefor a blind people, so the user can move and walk around freely and safely from any danger of obstacleon their way’

Abstract

Kemacetan terjadi hampir di setiap selang waktu lalulintas di kota besar, termasuk di Bandar Lampung. Kemacetan ini menyebabkan banyak kerugian ditinjau secara finansial dari beberapa faktor seperti polusi, kehilangan waktu, pemborosan bahan bakar, dan faktor psikologis diantaranya stres. Kerugian finansial ini akan berimplikasi pada penurunan poduktifitas dan pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini mencoba menganalisis seberapa besar kerugian akibat kemacetan jika ditinjau dari pemborosan bahan bakar. Diharapkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat menjadi perhatian bagi pemerintah untuk mengurangi kerugian seperti contohnya menerapkan manajemen lalulintas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sepanjang Jalan Z.A Pagar Alam - Teuku Umar (±3.7 km). Semakin lama waktu perjalanan dibutuhkan, maka semakin besar jumlah liter bahan bakar yang dibuang sehingga jika dirupiahkan akan besar. Jenis kendaraan yang ditinjau adalah mobil pribadi berbahan bakar bensin dan solar, angkot serta BRT. Survey pencacahan kendaraan serta wawancara dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data yang diperlukan, yaitu konsumsi bahan bakar pada kondisi kendaraan tertunda akibat macet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kerugian akibat konsumsi bahan bakar sangat besar sekitar Rp. 4.765.223.503, - per tahun dengan sample sepanjang 3,7 km segmen jalan. Angka ini hanya mengambil sampel 8.123 kendaraan. Dengan mengasumsikan jumlah kendaraan di Bandar Lampung pada Tahun 2015 sebesar 169.370 kendaraan (dengan asumsi pertumbuhan kendaraan 12 % per tahun). Jika diasumsikan lagi rata-rata setiap kendaraan menempuh 8-10 km per hari nya, maka total jumlah kerugian per tahunnya menjadi Rp. 267.2 Miliar per tahun. Suatu jumlah yang sangat besar mengingat hitungan ini hanya berdasar satu faktor saja yaitu konsumsi bahan bakar akibat kemacetan. Jika ditambah dengan keugian akibat polusi, kehilangan nilai waktu juga kerugian lainnya, maka jumlah ini akan jauh lebih besar lagi. Hal ini bisa menjadi pertimbangan pemerintah untuk mengambil tindakan pengurangan kemacetan yang tidak begitu mahal seperti manajemen lalulintas, tetapi dapat menguangi kemacetan sehingga kerugian finansial tadi dapat ditekan bahkan dihilangkan.

Abstract

Cadangan bahan bakar minyak yang semakin berkurang mengharuskan adanya upaya penemuan bahan bakar yang terbarukan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi biomassa serta menginventarisasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pengembangan biofuel sebagai energi terbarukan di Tulang Bawang, Lampung.Penelitian yang merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Rapid Rural Appraisal dengan Focus Group Discussion.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi pengembangan biofuel di Tulang Bawang adalah hasil samping tanaman jagung dengan estimasi sebanyak 12.830 kiloliter bioetanol, hasil samping tanaman tebu berupa ampas setara potensi bioetanol 5.800 kiloliter bioetanol, hasil samping pengolahan tapioka dari ubikayu dengan potensi gas metana 8 juta m3, limbah peternakanyang dapat dikonversi menjadi biogas sebanyak 14.674 m3/hari dan produksi mikroalga pada limbah perikanan dengan potensi bioetanol sebanyak 20.000 liter/ha.Pengembangan biofuel di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang perlu memperhatikan ketersediaan bahan baku lokal sebagai faktor utama, teknologi pengolahan, sumberdaya manusia, pasar, dan kebijakan pemerintah.

Abstract

Web Technology has important roles and allow organizations and companies to enter the market easily, inexpensively, and without geographical restrictions. The aim of this study was to design banana chips e-commerce model. This study was carried out by a structured method with SDLC models (System Development Life Cycle). The results showed that banana chips ecommerce model obtained several advantages which include customer service and be a good corporate image. Model of e-commerce that have been made have features that can simplify the process of buying and selling customers.

Abstract

The general objective of this community service is to develop the potential of underutilized Batu Berak sub-district. While the specific objectives to be achieved is (1) increasing the role of the community in the village cooperative unit by holding workshops and counseling about cooperative economic models tha include : provision of venture capital and marketing of products. This community service using research and development model developed by Brog and Gall implemented within two years of activity. First year, is the model development stage, based on the data obtained in the initial counseling, designing the initial model, do a comparative study, observation, revision and generating method of region potention with village cooperative unit workshops and counseling. Second year, sosialize, test the method of region potention with village cooperative unit workshops and counseling. The expected outcome of this community service is formed of society mindset about utilization of cooperative as a foundation of the economy and improve people standards of living by working with village cooperative unit.

Abstract

This jornal stressed to livelihoods changed of Bumi Agung society at Way Belerang tourist attraction at Lampung Selatan Regency. It’s seen from strategies are created and developed by citizens in line with tourism development. Since tourism development was founded, livelihoods of Bumi Agung citizen showed siginificant progress, wich was farming community changed to trade and entrepreneur community. This new state, made unbalanced system in society, which they will correct with traditional pattern modification, new pattern or modificate both. This adaptation can be harmonic, adaptive or make friction what makes conflicts (Bee, 1973). Tourism development is vital sectore which government must take obey because it can be supporting variable to achieving development goals. Way Belerang tourist attraction has opened the access of Bumi Agung Village to outside world. This research influenced by processual approach. Man has seen as active, creative and manipulative in the face of his environment. This approach didn’t see the changed linearly, but what has changed and has not and also mechanism and process that takes place what was changed and was not. This research used qualitative method ( Denzin& Lincoln, 2000). Which is tourism industry growth, and developing of Bumi Agung Tourism industry, has made economical and the culture changed to that society, particularly to the livelihoods.

Abstract

Problems of voter data becomes a crucial issue ahaead 2014 election. Purpose of this study is to describe the application of population regulation and implementation of e-KTP which has implications for the determination of the voter list. Data collection using Focus Group Discussion method in two step, the first step involved the experts and implementing agencies, and then second step involved Head of RT and village officials. Result of this study indicate that (1) awareness of the population in reporting important events and demographic events was low, due to social-economic factor, the ineffectiveness of socialization dan make citizenship documents if only need be. The suggestion are: (1) The awareness increasing of the populization is accompanied with the provision of easy access especially those with lower social and economic status and remote access form the public services. (2) Increase the role of RT/RW/Village Head appreciated by incentive for the achievement in the discipline of population administration in his region.

Abstract

Homeroom teacher is a teacher who appointed to organize and make the classroom well managed. Classroom management basically is the process of teaching and learning process control activities that take place with dynamic, productive, effective and efficient so can create a harmonious circumstances. Homeroom teacher should have a very important function in classroom management. Homeroom teacher in classroom management take function as administrator and manager. In the other hand professional teacher is the a teacher’s ability to perform his core function as a educators and teachers ability to plan, actuate and evaluate the learning outcomes. Professional-level assessment process of a teacher can be measured from the teacher’s performances in carrying out his duties and responsibilities in the learning process. Performance is the success rate of a person or group in carrying out his duties and responsibilities and the ability to achieve the goals and standards that have been set. (Sulistyorini, 2001,2).
